We have been doing business in ********* for the past 23 years and are associated with many of the finest Corporations/Companies in the city. We interface with tens of thousands of visitors, to *********, each year and enjoy constant praise for the promotions we offer. 1 starLiteral Scam. I was asked questions that do not pertain to booking a vacation (Marital Status, Household income, proof of residence). After accepting my money. This company told me that they could not issue my refund without **************** information I was uncomfortable sharing. They are not a brokerage or bank. I booked online Dec 16th. I've been trying to cancel since BEFORE Xmas, now it's Jan 13th and I haven't gotten to speak with the correct **** YET! The number online is NEVER answered by a breathing body. After 2 1/2 weeks, and dozens of calls, I finally thought to call my ************ for a stop payment, but they gave me a more valid number to contact them. Yet still, to no ************************** were great over the phone, but NEVER could get the correct **** to answer to obtain a refund!I need to speak w/someone about a refund...Take A Break Travel, LLC

i cannot even add a star. I purchased in 2020 right before Covid. I requested a refund and was refused, they extended the deadline, but the vacation I purchased was not what I go. I purchased 3 days in the Bahama's and recieved a cruise to the Bahama's with 500+ charges incurred. Then only 5 hours in the Bahama's all water activites were cancelled the excursion crew was neglectful in letting the participants know. When I mentioned Take a Break travel to Club Wyndham they informed me they werent honorning any more contracts with Take a Break Travel. When I arrived for the cruise my daughter was not on the manifest for the cruise which I had provided that information and paid for the change 4 months prior to the cruise. The agent on the phone was rude and inconsiderate. The cruise Agent informed me that almost every customer that mentioned Take a Break travel had issues. No customer should ever get to the check in line and have someone missing from the manifest. Take a break travel should have refunded the money or should have provided a compromible vacation rather than you can spend your time in Orlando or Fort Lauderdale. Originally expected us to stay at the Roadway Inn, are you kidding me. I paid a fee to stay at the Westin on the beach - it was not on the beach it was in the Corporate district. Sounds exciting right. The only thing that went right was the car rental and even after I returned from vacation I had to talk to them about charging my CC for the rental but I guess at least the car was there. Take a Break travel will never receive a good report from me. They are a *** *** and do not professionally take care of business.Take A Break Travel, LLC

Thank you for taking the time address your concerns regarding your cruise vacation you purchased from Grand ********* Cruises (GCC). Please be advised that Take a Break Travel (TAB) is the fulfillment company for a portion of GCCs vacations. The monies you paid to purchase your vacation were collected by GCC, not TAB. Because the purchase of your cruise was made during Covid, and due to the uncertainty of when cruises would be permitted to sale again as outlined by the **** as good faith gesture TAB provided clients the option to convert to an all-land package,which you declined. Upon review of our records, we can confirm that you elected to exchange your nights in *********** for nights on land and chose to proceed with an upgraded property for this reservation. Please be advised that TAB provided you the address for this property and did not make any suggestion nor mention that this hotel would be on the beach. Refunds for your vacation would need to be requested from the company you purchased your vacation from which is GCC and not TAB. We have forwarded a copy of your complaint to both the cruise line and GCCs ***************** team for further information and training with staff. That's a ****. I purchased one of their ** vacations for 4 nights. I paid $99, which was supposed to cover 4 nights. I knew there would be a timeshares presentation. The website didn't say you have to be married to participate. When I called them to confirm dates, they asked a few questions. When I said I am single, they said I don't qualify for the sales presentation and I can't use this offer. But, they told me, they will refer me to another offer, where I can use the vacation with 45 days advance notice for the same price.When I went to this other website, it's asking me to pay additional $103 and I don't even know for what! I entered preferred and alternate dates and I don't even know if they'll accept them. But they want me to pay now. Further in the future, I suppose they will ask me to pay more. THAT'S A ****! Upon review of your account, we can confirm that our agent upgraded your account from the original vacation package which included: 4 days, 3 nights at **************** in ******* with a gift of a $200.00 resort credit contingent upon you attending a 2-hour sales presentation. The new offer provides you with 5 nights and allows you to choose from multiple destinations in the US and removes the 2-hour sales presentation however still provides you with a gift of a $100.00 **** gift card. Unfortunately, upon reviewing the phone call with our agent she did not provide the full details of the refundable deposit. This offer required a deposit at the time of booking, which is the same process as your original offer,however this one differs because the money is returned to your before you travel once you complete the confirmation call less whatever fees are necessary for the hotel taxes. Your original offer required a refundable deposit at the time of booking and is not returned until you have completed your required sales presentation and the hotel taxes are paid by you to the hotel upon check in. We drove four and a half hours and paid a lot of money for a three night stay and free cruise after a presentation. We found we were NOT booked into the hotel and could NOT contact Take a Break so we had to drive four and a half hours back and we are filing with our bank to get our money back. They deal with Go crv and betweem the two of them they just kept blaming each other for the mishap. We have dealt with these kind of companies before and NEVER were we stuck with nowhere to stay.Take A Break Travel, LLC

Upon receipt of your review, we contacted our travel partner GoCrv who is the fulfilment company for these vacations for further follow up. They advised that your reservation was correctly booked and confirmed with the hotel however the front desk was unable to locate the reservations correctly. GoCrv was contacted at the time you checked in and they were able to provide the front desk agent at the hotel assistance in locating the reservation however they were advised that you had already left the hotel and were in route to drive home. We apologize for the inconvenience and will be providing further training with both our travel partner and the hotel staff to ensure this does not occur again. TAB is the seller of its own discounted vacation packages and uses the *** as one of our hotels for fulfillment of these vacations. Please be advised that TAB does not sell Explorias products. Hidden fees and they work with a timeshare company which promises free cruise vacation but you have to sit through a two hour forced sales pitch to force you to buy a timeshare. You feel forced and tell you if you leave they won't pay for your cruise which I came all the way from ********* to ******* for.Take A Break Travel, LLC

Please be advised that the terms and conditions of your package do require clients to attend a sales presentation on the benefits of discounted travel in full to qualify for the gifts associated with their purchase. Our records indicate that you did complete the sales presentation and were provided the gifting associated. Although neither GCC nor TAB are the presenters of the time share presentation we have forwarded your concerns to the senior management team responsible for the presentation. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! Scammers, horrible customer service. I was trying to cancel the package i purchased within my 30 day cancelation window and i spent 3 hours on the phone, talked to 15 different people and they kept giving me a run around. I booked a vacation through Take a Break travel, and it was a nightmare. Over the months of planning, EVERY operator I spoke with told me something different and that I needed to pay extra for items I was initially told were included in my package. Please note that Take a Break Travel (TAB) is the fulfillment company for a portion of GCCs vacations which means TAB books and confirms your hotel, car, and cruise based on the information provided to us from the seller of your vacation, GCC.Upon review of your account, we can confirm that your package from GCC included a hotel stay with an economy car rental and a cruise. Our records indicate that you requested to upgrade your hotel for a total of $175.00 and added an additional day onto your car rental costing $52.33. In addition, you were charged $507.00 for an additional cabin to your cruise reservation due to the number of passengers traveling. Other monies collected at the time of booking were the Refundable deposits of $49.00 for your hotel stay and $99.00 for your Cruise. Both refundable deposits were returned to you upon completion of your sales presentation in the form of gift cards totaling $150.00. All other components of your vacation (other than those you upgraded or added) were delivered as per your Terms and Conditions.
