      Very disappointing. Its true what all these reviews are saying. Theres a $49 dollar deposit fee, they say you get it back, but I dont know if thats even true. ****** learned, READ THE FINE PRINT is all I can tell anyone thats even looking into booking with these guys. Youll definitely be paying more than $99..

      As you will see outlined in the terms and conditions under the section for RESERVATIONS: A $49.00 Refundable Reservation Deposit will be charged at the time of booking to guarantee your arrival. Deposits will be refunded in full upon completion of your required presentation in its entirety, in the form of gifting to be used towards activities in your area of travel. Upon review of your account our records indicate that you requested a full refund which was provided at the time of request.

      Not a good experience. Yes the people were friendly, but I never talked to the same person twice had to explain all the issues a million times. Car rental is not free, hotel is not free. They say they cover the costs but we ended up paying an addition 800 for the car and 500 in hotel fees. Also the food/drink voucher is actually just an online coupon book, not real money to go but food. So disappointed we got sucked into this and lost so much money for a below average trip. Really wish we would have seen all the other reviews about this company prior to booking this trip, only a handful are positive. Just shut down this business so people dont keep getting *******.

      Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns regarding the cruise vacation you purchased from Grand ********* Cruises (GCC).  Please be advised that Take a Break Travel (TAB) is the fulfillment center for a portion of GCCs vacation packages.  Upon review of your account, we can confirm that your package did include a standard economy car.  Our records indicate that at the time of booking you requested an upgrade to an Intermediate SUV plus one additional day totaling $261.90 which you paid on 05/03/2022. Further review reflects that you contacted TAB twice on 11/18/2022 inquiring about the fee for the rental car and were advised during each call of the fees and the reason for the extra charges. As it relates to your concern regarding additional monies paid for the hotel, we can confirm that there were no additional fees for the hotel stay nor did TAB collect any monies other than the fees outlined above for the upgraded car rental.  Please feel free to contact Take a Break Travel directly should you have any additional questions relating to the car rental and GCC for questions pertaining to the package details.  TAB is available Monday Friday from 9:00 am ET 6:30 pm ET by calling ************ and GCC can be reached via email; ***************************

      Upon review of our records,you contacted Take A Break Travel to arrange travel dates on 10/12/2022.  During this call you advised that you are cohabitating with a partner.  As per the terms and conditions of the package, a sales presentation is required and as such both legally married and cohabitating partners are required to travel and attend the sales presentation together as well as provide documentation to support that both reside at the same address.  You advised at that time that you did not have any such documentation.  Our agent provided you a curtesy upgrade to our Take 3 Vacation which eliminated the sales presentation and the need for the documentation.  An email containing your new travel certificate was sent to the email address you provided during your call.  Please feel free to contact TAB directly should you have any additional questions.  We are available Monday Friday from 9:00 am ET 6:30 pm ET by calling ************.

      I bought the ***** deal at ********** resort They called me once and wanted to charge me more and I had to sit through a2 hour presentation which will turn into 4 hours and I told them I would consider but no longer than 2 hours and they told me to get deal I had to stay there for the entire presentation. I said we'll just give me my ***** back they hung up. Very disappointing.

      Thought I was dealing with Grand Caribbean Cruise but instead got shuffled over to Take a Break Travel, who of course tried to absolve themselves of incredibly horrible communication and the worst customer service I have every experienced by claiming nothing was their fault, despite the fact every issue I had throughout my vacation I was given their number to call to resolve the issues. The people I talked to were incredibly rude and mean, with the exception of one woman who actually was on top of her game, and gave me tons of detailed info… after I called several times first to get details. I was not given the address of my cruise port in my itinerary. When I called to double check which company I was renting a car from per the package, the woman I talked to that time scoffed at me when I asked if it was Alamo or Budget. She rudely told me they do not work with Alamo for quite some time, yet it was still listed in my paperwork as a potential agency to receive the car from. She also rudely told me my car was not in Orlando, that pickup was in Ft Lauderdale despite my reservations staying I was staying in Orlando for 4 days 3 nights to start my package. I hung up and went to budget at the Orlando airport anyways and they had a reservation waiting for me. I also did not have the address to the cruise ship port in my itinerary, nor did I even have the correct ship name. Over the phone on several calls I was just told Fort Lauderdale and the Grand Classica. Turns out port was in West Palm Beach and I was on the Margaritaville. That’s an hours difference drive time and a very different ship name! Every single time I called with an issue they tried to direct me to Grand Caribbean Cruises, and given 2 diff phone numbers to call. Every time I called Grand Caribbean Cruises, I got directed right back to Take a Break Travel and their rude unprofessional finger pointing and degrading agents. I refuse to do business with this business or any business who uses their services.

      Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns regarding the cruise vacation you purchased from Grand ********* Cruises (GCC).  Please be advised that Take a Break Travel (TAB) is the fulfillment company for a portion of GCCs vacations.  Upon review of your account and phone calls we were able to identify the employee from GCC with whom you spoke with.  We have forwarded your complaint to their senior management team for further training with their associate.  To provide clarification relating to your concerns about the car rental company and cruise; please note that while your original documentation provided by GCC for the sale of your package lists both Alamo and Budget as potential companies that your car rental will be reserved with, vacations fulfilled by Take a Break Travel are booked solely with Budget.  On 09/27/2022 you contacted TAB, during this call all information on file was verified identifying a correction required for your email address. Upon review of this call, our agent made the necessary update, then forwarded your itinerary letter to the new address and discussed the details of your full reservation which included the car rental as well as advising of the Port from which you would be sailing.  In addition, she provided you details on drive time from ******* to the *************** port as well as the times of check-in for your sailing.  As you will see in the attached itinerary that was emailed to you by our agent on 09/27/2022, both the car rental company as well as cruise (Margaritaville at Sea) are both clearly identified along with all details of your vacation.  Please feel free to contact us should you have any additional questions or concerns.  We can be reached Monday Friday from 10:00 am 6:30 pm ET by calling ************.

      I was in ******* for my kids birthday. Was staying at ****************** Resort. Take a Break had a ticket offer we try to purchase a ticket for legoland and the gentlemen name ************** sold a ticket for Sea World. They said because for long hour the park close by 10 pm and kids could enjoy we purchase 6 tickets for $630/- that ticket includes all day dinning promotion. We purchase the tickets around noon we get in the sea world by 1:30pm. My mother law did not eat meal, because she want to eat meal by 7pm. Onces we asked place for kids play they told me to go sesame street area. Once we get in there nothing open. just only 2 rides open. only pony ride and water fountain was open. and around 5 they told park close by 6. We call your office off Take a Break Travel in our resort ************** he did not answer. than we went to sea world guest service. and the lady **************** very helpful she offer us next day pass for free. since we are visiting from *************, we had no time, she said if you want your refund. you can go where you purchase. next day we went to the office. they told us no money to refund. we can offer you another time share. However please note we do not want time share we want our money back. we do have all the proof of video and closing pictures. I do not recommend to purchase ticket from Take a Break Travel. pls purchase from from direct park authority. Its a big SCAM.

      Thank you for taking the time to address your concerns.  Our records indicate that although you did not purchase your vacation to ******* from Take a Break Travel, you did purchase Theme Park tickets to Sea World from our staff while on your trip.  Unfortunately, Sea World closed one of their rides for that day. TAB does not have any ability to control the closures within the Theme Parks.  Per your conversation with our staff in *******, you advised that Sea World offered you the option of additional tickets for an alternative day at no cost however you declined due to your return home.  Although *** is unable to refund tickets that were scanned and used, in an effort to assist you were offered and accepted a complimentary 7-night Condo vacation to be used for future travel.  Please feel free to contact Take a Break Travels reservation department should you have any additional questions.  We can be reached Monday Friday from 10:00 am 6:30 pm ET by calling ************.

      Do not book with this company!!!!!! I thought I booked a trip to ***** but come to find out you have to make $50 Grand a year no person told me this up front because of I was aware of it there's no way I would even consider paying for it.i received no email stating that.********** now even after calling myself and receiving a call back it still wasn't addressed NOT RIGHT RUINED MY DAUGHTER 21ST BIRTHDAY ????????????

      THEY SHOULD BE SUED AND CLOSED!At the Excalibur, these vultures called us to their desk asking "are you checking in"? I gave them my card and id, as they made it seem that they were checking me in... IT WAS FOR A ****! They took money from me, told me to lie about my employment status!I didnt go! I got sick anyways and it is clearly a timeshare ****! They claim the money they took was a refundable deposit, but it has been taken off my account! Not returned!

I am forwarding your comments to our location's Marketing Management for immediate action based upon the interaction you experienced with our representative. Regarding your $50 deposit "hold" you reference, this "hold" was released following your no show to the presentation. We do not actuate a charge to your credit card, merely a hold of the $50 which, by our records, has indeed been released by us. Routinely, it takes the guest's bank 4-5 business days to reflect the release of a "hold". At the latest, your bank should have this hold released by September 5th. If they have not done so, please contact them personally. Although we cannot change the events that took place we hope you will be assured our focus on your comments will immediately be addressed.       I have tried for 3 months to get ahold of someone and NO ONE ANSWERS!!! I am really terrified to accept that I might have gotten scammed. How is it possible for these people to work at the hotel offering these travel vouchers and take away peoples money!! I paid $99 for a 3 night 4 day stay. & Ive been wanting to use thise but there is absolutely no help!
