Dates: March 17-March 30;I booked a saver ticket on March 17. On March 28, a ******************************* (or ********) called me and told me that if I wanted a seat on the plane, I would have to pay additional money. I did not authorize him to charge the additional money. I booked another ticket for $586 directly thought Alaska Air. In the meantime, ****************** began to book multiple tickets with my debit card. I canceled my debit card on Saturday, March 30 -- but not before he had made three more reservations. My credit union has deducted two from my checking account. The third is on hold. ****** is busy refunding me for those tickets. I just found this scam business online and called and asked if there were a *************************** there. A ************ ****** told me to hold. Both individuals have Indian accents (and may be the same person for all I l know). Please see the screen shot of checking account. I have filed complaints with the U.S. ********** of ************** and the *** and am in communication constantly with Alaska Air. Note: at the moment, $1216.63 has been deducted from my checking account with $436.21 pending. At this moment, ****************** is attempting to call me. I am not accepting his calls. I had a long email exchange with him on Thursday, and have shared as much as I can with the *** and with **************************************.
The amount disputed is not $1,600 plus. I did the math wrong. It is $1,200 plus.

I purchased 2 round trip airline tickets through best ticket fare for a total of $794.08 or ****** per ticket. I have an email confirmation showing the tickets for each passenger and the pricing. A representative called within 30 minutes of paying for the fare and indicated that the tickets did not include any luggage. I asked that the reservation be cancelled. They said it could not be cancelled because of the discount. I agreed not to bring luggage. After two days I called them asking where my tickets were. They then indicated that there was only one ticket and the other passenger was standby. Later in the conversation they changed their story and said only the return portion of the flight was standby. I again asked that the transaction be cancelled & they declined. I called the airline directly the very next day and they confirmed that only one person was booked and the total was ******. (One ticket shouldve been $******.) There was also a pending charge of $700+/- for additional airfare. Fortunately the Delta representative was able to cancel the second charge because it was still pending.Initial Complaint

This company advertised a discounted flight fare without informing the customer that this flight was a standby flight and you would not be allowed to take a bag and that since this is a standby flight the flight is not guaranteed. From there they add fees that end up costing more then booking the flight from the original company . They also stated multiple times that I would get charged either way if I did not continue with booking with them. I asked to speak to a supervisor many times and they continued to tell men either way I was getting charged.I feel like this is fraud as none of these conditions were stated up front in the original booking.Initial Complaint

This website is upselling standard airline prices, making threatening and demanding calls to customers and requiring additional funds for seats, check in and luggage. After being charged, and speaking with the airline, who could not confirm they had actually booked my flight, I also learned that any luggage was indeed free- and not an additional cost of $199 as they demanded. What they do to patrons is unethical, illegal and harassing. Their customer service is atrocious. To top it all off, none of this is posted on their website, or receipts and all trips booked are non refundable.Initial Complaint

bought airline tickets for certain times, they called saying these tickets did not allow any luggage and we would need to upgrade, trying to charge another ******. When I requested a refund they said the airline discount had already been applied and my initial ******* was non-refundable. This is a scam trying to get more money out of people!!!!Initial Complaint

On 3/20/2024 I purchased plane tickets from this business, thinking I was getting a great deal -- It shows that I purchased United Economy flights, however, upon calling into the business after reserving these, I was informed that I actually purchased United RESTRICTED Economy, and therefore would be at the very back of the plane and not able to have a carry-on-- NONE of this is mentioned in the actual listing or the site. I have flown United Economy several times previously, and have always had a carry on; this is the entire reason I booked this specific flight. This normally would not be a large issue, except we are traveling for a dance competition in which my daughter HAS to carry her dance bag onto the plane, it cannot be checked. I would not have purchased these if that pertinent information had been properly disclosed. Upon calling the business, they said there is nothing they can do except upgrade my flights, which of course is at a hefty cost, or they can cancel them, BUT they would not refund my card. So, cancel and GIVE them $700 was their resolution for me. They should be fully transparent with their listings, this was a misrepresentation of sale and should be modified.Initial Complaint

On 2/17/2024 I thought I purchased a plane ticket to *********** ** for $300.19. On 2/18/2024 I received a call from BTF stating I was limited to 8 pounds, no carry-on luggage allowed and if I cancelled I would lose the $300.19. Ms. *********************** said she could get me on a flight that allowed carry-on for $710.00. I said NO. She then came back and said she would take off $50.00 and I could get a ticket for $660.98. I did not want to waste the $300.19 so I said okay. ************** said she would credit my credit card the $300.19 and bill the $660.98. ************** requested that I go on Trustpilot.com website to write a review, mention her name and how nice and helpful she was in getting me a new flight. If I did this I would be given a $25.00 voucher to use with BTF in a future flight. I did not do this. I received my credit card statement and noticed 2 charges, one for $168.78 to BTF and one for American Airlines for $492.20. There was no charge or credit for the $300.19 which I thought I bought to begin with. I realised this was a scam. BTF used my information from the purchase of the $300.19 ticket and purchased the more expensive ticket of $492.20 and charged my card $168.78 for doing this.Initial Complaint

On March 11, 2024 I booked a roundtrip ticket through bestticketfare.com. I did not receive any confirmation email or information about ticketing until I saw a charge on my credit card processed on March 17, 2024. (Note even after my credit card has been charged, there still has been no email or confirmation the of the incorrect flight they booked).Using the information from my bank statement I searched the flight on the Alaska Airlines website and realized the company bestticketfare.com rebooked my original flight request from a completely different city then my original departure city. I attempted to contact them via email for an explanation and a refund for the incorrect booking and their response was (specifically from ***********************)"Sorry mam,There were schedule chnages on youyr flight for the fare you selected , and the reservation you made its non refundable , No refund will be issued" **Note the spelling errors! This is complete ********. No airline would alter the departing city (which is 8 hours away from the original departing city) without consulting with the passenger before booking 4 non-refundable tickets. They company insists that it's the airlines change and they are not at fault. I have opened a dispute with my credit card company and have requested a refund from bestticketfare.com multiple times. Response from *********************** "Sorry for your pain , but theres nothing ew can do more"DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH THIS SCAM SITEInitial Complaint

I used this service to book two tickets for $810.92. About an hour later I got a call from an agent saying there was a problem and that there was only 1 available seat. They sold me a seat that was unavailable. So far, ****** Airlines has charged me $674.62. I am disputing this a fraudulent advertising. Booking #*****Initial Complaint

I paid $890 for two tickets and then received an email saying that the tickets would be issued after I spoke with an agent. When I spoke with her, she informed me that the tickets I bought didnt allow me to check a bag (even for a fee). She said that this was in the website- which it wasnt- and its not even on the airlines site (economy seats for delta). I was then told I need to pay $2700 for the same tickets but with being able to check a bag. She then offered me tickets at $1400 but with different times (one being a red eye which wouldnt allow me to be home in time for my children). I asked if I could just cancel the whole transaction but was told that the tickets were issued already and Id lose my $890. So in the end I agreed to a price of $2200 with less than optimal travel times. I then checked on Alaska airline and saw my original tickets available for $1700 but would have had to pay this site $1000 extra for them.
