I went out to book some flights for an event that I have to attend this summer. I went out to compare flight prices between several 3rd party companies an chose to go with BestTicketFare.com because they listed the best price. After booking the tickets (3 in total) and paying on line, I received a call stating that I would not be able to bring luggage on the trip... So I agreed to process the tickets and move forward. The next day, I received a call stating that the tickets that I reserved and paid for, would not be issued and I can not get a refund. The only option available was to pay the upcharge for an upgraded ticket.. They would not do ANYTHING with regards to refunding my money or get me the original tickets that I bought and paid for the previous day. Service et SAV terrible. On m'a dit 2 fois que ma rservation tait confirme et que j'allais recevoir un mail de confirmation. J'ai appel 4 fois en 2 jours et ne recevais pas de mail de confirmation. Puis, on m'a dit que mon vol n'tait pas garanti. Et que j'tais oblige de payer 850$ dollars au lieu de 430$ pour prendre ce vol. Et que c'tait non remboursable. On Saturday morning, I booked three tickets to ******* through BestTicketFare. Shortly after booking, I noticed only a 30-minute layover between two connecting flights, which was not enough time to make the connection. I immediately called the company to change the booking and was told someone would call me back within 30 minutes. I didnt receive a callback until 3.5 hours later. When they finally called, they said they could change the itinerary only if I paid extra to upgrade the booking. I said I couldnt pay more and requested either a refund or a change to a flight with a longer layover at the same fare. Both options were denied.Despite being charged over $600, I never received a confirmation email for the tickets. On Monday, I called again and spoke to an agent named ******* ******. He falsely claimed I had asked to cancel the tickets, and said ***************** had forfeited them. This is not true I never requested a cancellation and had clearly asked for a change shortly after the original booking. I informed him that I had a recording of the call and accused the company of fraud.******* then said the same flights could be rebooked, but only at a higher fare since economy class was now sold out. He told me to take it up with *****************, claiming they had the money and had cancelled the seats. However, BestTicketFare was the company I booked through and charged my card. To date, I have no tickets, no refund, and no clear resolution.This experience has been extremely frustrating. The company failed to provide confirmation, denied a reasonable change request made within minutes of booking, and then falsely blamed me for canceling. Their agents were unhelpful and misleading, and their refusal to refund or assist properly feels like a scam.Initial Complaint

On 5/9/25 I went on the Cheap tickets site for flights from ************, ** to ********, **. bestticketfare posted a round trip advertised for $279.00 economy. I contacted them and got pushed off to a shady character who proceeded to tell me that the flight booked could get bumped, but that the airline would get my granddaughter on another flight that could be the next day or whenever they have a another flight available. In other words it was stand by that was not disclosed, but he kept insisting it wasn't, but economy. Same difference. He then proceeded to tell me a confirmed flight with carry on and luggage would be $484.00 and she could bring a suitcase and a carry on and wanted me to agree with that so he could change it to the upgrade for more money even though it said no refund. I was upset and told him this was a bait and switch and since he obviously hadn't put it through yet if he can squeeze another $200.00 out of me, that I wanted to cancel because of false advertising . He told me no because it said no refunds. I was then told if she would go to a NY airport 81 miles away that she would get on the flight with no problem. They did not state that on their flight information site advertised on that venue. They totally mislead me in a bait and switch and continued to say that it is non refundable and already charged so it was too late to cancel. I closed the charge account the following day since they had not in fact already charged me and I COULD have cancelled before it went through. I am 69 years old and have been scammed. I want these charges removed due to false advertising with misleading information for a bait and switch. I do not want to do business with them and other buyers need to beware of their shady business practices, Especially senior citizens! I want them to CANCEL this transaction to be made whole. I booked a ticket then did not receive a confirmation, I received an email saying I need to contact them about my ticket. Then I was told my flight was overbooked and the airline would be in touch. 5/2/2025 I tried to purchase 2 round trip tickets ******* to ********* on "Best Ticket Fare" .com. I received a In progress Booking # ***** in the amount of $305.98. An 1 hour later company called me stating error with CC and I gave them info. to complete transaction. 1 hour later company called stating price went up another $80 for each ticket. I said NO WAY to cancel this transaction. They said too bad its non refundable! 1 hour later supervisor called me stating they could offer same price for tickets but for 1 way instead of round trip, I said NO WAY I already told them to cancel and I will dispute with my ******** card. 5/5/2025 company called stating my tickets are now confirmed but on"STAND BY" at airline to see if seats are avialable 24 hours prior to trip that I would be notified. Again, I said , NO WAY that I am disputing charges, and this should have been canceled the hour we first spoke on 5/2/2025 and the agreement continued to change from Best Ticket Fare. ***** DO NOT ORDER AIRLINE TICKETS FROM BEST TICKET FARE. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!! **** On May 4, 2025, I booked 3 tickets on *************** through Best Ticket Fare for $710.28. When they called to go over my reservation and then told me that I was not allowed to bring on anything larger than a small purse. They then told me that I had to upgrade my tickets to economy because my husband could not get a ticket on the same flight. She also said that I would see two different transactions on my card, one for the base price to hold the tickets and then one for the upgrade. They would total $1,508.92. She kept me on the phone for over an hour. It was after 10pm when I FINALLY got off the phone with them. What she was telling me was not making since and I had to keep asking the same questions over and over. She was supposed to be the manager. Then when I told her to go ahead and book the flight where my husband was guaranteed a seat she switched airlines to American. I was previously booked on United. She told me that I could cancel the tickets but there would be a fee and that fee was $710.28 that I had paid for the tickets. This whole process has been the most stressful process I have ever had purchasing tickets. This was supposed to be a graduation present for my son, who is 18, she also kept saying he was a child and would have to travel by himself. I bought flight ticket from **********, ** to *******, ** for the price shown at BestTicketFare website. I didn't get any confirmation letter or receipt which was weird, and got a call from a day later from an employee that my ticket is not secured and I'll need to pay additional fee if I wanted to fly on the desired date, plus another fee for bags. The website didn't show that baggage was not included, and I needed to pay more for just basic purse. My flight got cancelled due to snowstorm in **********, ** so I requested for full refund with the additional fees I paid. I got the refund for departure flight ticket back, but they refused to give me refund for the rest, saying I'll be able to use them for discount when I purchase flight from their website by the end of 2025. I was going to apply this discount for trip to ******* in few weeks. I talked to an employee on 5/1/2025 and he said that one of them already expired, and even if I use the other discount code to their 'regular' flight, it's still twice as expensive as the other flight website such as Priceline. So I won't be buying any ticket from their website- they're TOTAL SCAM! What I need is refund back from the charges made to my bank account on 12/27/2024.Initial Complaint

Company Name: Best Ticket Fare Nature of Complaint: Fraudulent Airline Ticket Practices Date: 4/27/2025 I booked a flight through Best Ticket Fare on 4/27/2025 from ****** to ****** (May 6 departure, May 16 return) for $225. They provided a booking ID ******* but no airline confirmation number. No reservation email was ever sent.When I called later, they claimed the flight was overbooked and that I needed to pay additional upgrade fees to secure my flight. When I refused, they told me I would have to pay a $120 "voluntary cancellation fee."This company is engaging in bait-and-switch, misrepresentation, and fraudulent sales tactics. I never received a service, and no charge has been posted yet, but they attempted to coerce additional payment after an initial agreement.Resolution Requested: I want this company investigated for fraud, removed from platforms, and consumers warned.
