Look at replies from *** posted Feb 28. "No worries though we are completely caught up now"I placed my order a couple weeks ago, I get radio silence until I email them and I'm told their current main distributor is 2-3 months behind? well what happened to being all caught up?And also, why not at the very least tell your customers theres delays so they dont wait for something thats not gonna arrive?They're clearly lying here, one can only assume the reason. Good afternoon,We do apologize, you should have received an email stating the delay on your order. This is usually sent out a few days after the order is placed. We do find that if unsubscribed from our email list they may go to junk.As for being caught up, I believe you are misunderstanding the context. That was in response to the email volume we were receiving and the delay in responses. This was not to the current delay we are experiencing with one of our warehouses. The orders from the delayed warehouse have still been actively shipping out and the items are allocated to their respective orders. We are trying to get everything out as quickly as possible.After looking into your order, it looks like you were already helped by one of our representatives. Hopefully, we can regain your trust in the future and you can give Big Daddy Unlimited another chance. Companies like you just love to say "Err it must have gona to your junk folder". No, no it didnt. But how very convenient that ONLY these emails supposedly go to every ones junk folder. Also, YOU misunderstood something. When I said "why not at the very least tell your customers theres delays so they dont wait for something thats not gonna arrive", I meant PUT IT ON YOUR SITE!! Have a banner "we're currently experiencing delays". To go "oh but we emailed you after" is so intellectually dishonest. First off, no you didnt. Second, why would you even think that makes it ok? When you order a product from someone thats listed as *in stock* theres an inherent understanding that youre not going to need to wait 3 months for it to SHIP. I wont list names here obviously, but for anyone else seeing this, go somewhere else. There are other stores that know how to put something in a box and ship it.Review fromBrian M

They simply do not ship! Ever. Will tell you theyre experiencing delays, but thats just a run around excuse. I have been a customer for over 8 years. And have loved using them. Best in the business. However, recently, they have fallen to the worst in the business. You cant take orders and charge peoples cards, and not ship. Waiting multiple months on end for IN STOCK product is unacceptable. This has been for multiple orders over the past year. Even for product from their email blasts! How can you email out marketing material and then not ship it? Makes you wonder if anything on their website is even truly in stock. Its a true shame to see whats happened. Yall used to be amazing. The one stop shop. As of today I have asked to cancel my last order and my membership. Its a sad day. Best of luck to yall!Big Daddy Unlimited

Ridiculous wait times in shipping. I've been waiting nine weeks for these knuckleheads to ship my items. Upon emailing at the three and again at the four week **** I was met with radio silence. Still don't have my items or an ETA, and the only thing they've said is "we're experiencing a delay". Canceling my membership and refunding everything. You guys used to be great but you've really fallen into a pit. This is not how you respond to someone whose spent a lot of money in your store and been a member for almost two years.Big Daddy Unlimited

However, as this warehouse works from different queues, we are unable to provide an estimated time for shipment, given their current delays. The information our customer service team has relayed to you is all the information we currently have available from this warehouse and we strive on being fully transparent regarding any issues that *** be occurring.I do see that one of your emails were responded too and the other was closed since the response was sent after the second inquiry. We try to get back to every member as quickly as possible but due to high volume during the launch of our new site we did get behind. Long time Member since 2019. The new web site is worse that the old. The prices are no longer competitive and more notoriously the shipping is either very delayed or non existent. I have multiple order from November 2022 - January 2023 nothing has shipped. Same issues as everyone else "one warehouse is having issues." Why would BDU keep selling items from a warehouse that is 5-6 months behind in orders, why not reallocate those orders to a different warehouse? STOP TAKEING ORDER FOR A WAREHOUSE THAT IS MONTHS BEHIND AND NOT INFORMING THE CUSTOMER ABOUT POSSIBLE DELAYS. All this seem to indicate to me that BDU is going out of business and activity taking order and money till they file for bankruptcy. I am extremely disappointed in BDU this is completely unacceptable from any business,Big Daddy Unlimited

When possible we have been reallocating items available through there, if previously processed through the delayed warehouse. Unfortunately, not all brands and models are carried at all the warehouses we use. Your orders had items that were only available at the warehouse experiencing these delays, so we were unable to have them processed elsewhere.We completely understand your point and we are sending emails to all members whose orders are affected and expected to ship past the estimated time frame. Also, when members call in we are informing them of what we are currently seeing shipped that day to give them all the information we can provide.It seems like you did receive a refund for the 2 orders you had pending. This was my very first purchase on *** after signing up for the now "Legacy" subscription a few months prior, I purchased a SureFire flashlight with a SureFire pressure switch November 8th 2022. I have yet to receive any update from Big Daddy Unlimited like they claim they're doing here on BBB 5-7 days after. I received the batteries for my flashlight which was a third of my order, so now I'm left here thinking I'm pretty much scammed out of almost $400 almost 4 months later. I am not one to go on review websites but this is just downright disgraceful service. I had to initiate the conversation a month after making my order, they didn't even reply to my first email I sent, I had to send another email to even get a response making the subject BIG AND VISABLE. I received a paragraph explaining the warehouse issue, I understand business can get backed up sometimes, They said they're stuck on orders from October 10th-11th on their first reply 11/18/2022. Alright... two weeks later, I sent another email requesting an update 12/2/2022, I receive an update 5 days later vaguely explaining how the warehouse is currently on orders from October 13th, So let me get this right.. from my understanding it took 2 weeks to process 1-2 days of orders, My order was made on November 9th, Correct me if I'm wrong but at this pace I shouldn't receive my flashlight until sometime late this year? And they think it's acceptable to take your $10 a month for this service... I sent another email today 2/3/2023 closing on close to 4 months from the date I placed my order. This issue is isolated to a single warehouse as all other locations have been shipping within our usual date frame of 5-7 business days. The orders from the delayed warehouse have still been actively shipping orders and the items on each order are allocated. However, as this warehouse works from different queues, we are unable to provide an estimated time for shipment, given their current delays.We have been trying to fix these issues as quickly as possible, it has become steady but still a slow process.Whenever possible, our team has been allocated any available items through alternate locations, however, at this time, the items on your order have not become available elsewhere.I am sorry if you did not receive the automated email, we can look into it but we do promise this is not a scam. Been a member for over a year now, since before the website change (legacy member), and they've always been quick and dependable.Placed an order on January 27th 2023.I figure I check the status today because there have been no updates through route.Called in and the rep had told me they're still filling orders from the beginning of December and it takes them multiple days to catch up 1 backlogged day.Ultimately saying that it may be a month, maybe more before my order sees movement.I wish I was told in advance that there was delays like this.Gonna call back to cancel my order and go through opticsplanet instead.Huge bummer, needed these parts for an important build and had I not called, I would have been waiting for alot longer.Hope they can fix whatever issues they got going on fastBig Daddy Unlimited

I was member for a long time and for a while things were shipping within a week of purchase. Over the last 6 months, I have canceled a couple orders due to these shipping delays. On 12/11 placed an order, and requested and update and they responded on 12/28 (This warehouse is currently working on orders between 10/13-10/14. Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for when your order will ship as processing times do fluctuate depending on the order volume in each date range. Once the tracking information is made available, you will receive a separate email confirmation with the tracking number) I would understand this if while ordering, it was listed as backordered ect.. it says its (IN STOCK) I have been waiting for this order since 12/11 and currently they are not responding to emails regarding an update. I did not read these reviews prior to submitting my order however, I wish I had!! I just ordered on January 16, 2023 and have not received my item as of yet. I ordered a similar item from a different company the week after this order and I have received that item. Im seriously thinking about canceling this order after reading that people are waiting months to receive their products. I wonder if they are selling items that they dont have!! ordered a Kriss 9mm mag ext kit on the 22nd of January and its STILL processing meanwhile 2 orders I placed from 2 companies (one being in the same state as ***) have already arrived before the one I paid the most in shipping cost for. Pathetic. Its now a day more than the 5-7 business days stated. I got one email from them saying that it would be shipped within the next ***** hours its been about 5 days since then and it STILL has not been shipped. save yourself the trouble.Big Daddy Unlimited

A representative did inform that our fulfillment team does send orders to our warehouses within ***** hours, once we know which warehouse your item was able to be fulfilled through then we can provide more information. It may take up to 5-7 business days, if not sooner, for your order to be processed in the warehouse and shipped. Been a BDU member for over 3 years at this point. I pretty much signed up wen people thought it was sketchy. I did the $0.99 trial membership, and made my first order for a knife. Got it in like 3-4 days. So I was hooked from that point on. I have bought everything from reloading supplies, gun parts, firearms, etc. I have saved money, and always gotten my orders within 3-5 days. At least until this last order I placed back on Oct. 16th. I just ordered a reloading manual, some Sierra ************ a box of **** ammo for a ****, and one more item I can't even remember what it was it's been so long. I have heard the same "warehouse experiencing unexpectedly long delays" excuse that everyone else has. If it were me I'd offer a refund to customers, and cut ties with that warehouse. I don't know if this has anything to do with the Gunshop they had guns stored in with unpaid invoices, the assisted trigger controversay, or something else, butI have just about had enough of this waiting. I have sent emails each month since October asking about my order and I have gotten a response, but they have said they are still filling orders form Oct. 14th-15th. So over the course of essentially 3 months a single warehouse can't fill orders taken over a 2 day span??? Plus the new website sucks! It is the same thing I see on a lot of similar websites. Looks like the product is in stock then you click on it and it says out of stock. Or the typical "Add item to cart to see low price" just to see that it's not all that more cheap than other places. I have a hookup with my local gunshop to order direct from RSR and other distributors, and they are not having these same issues. So I'm about to support local, and cancel my membership with *** if this keeps up much longer. I'd say it's time we jump the *** ship, and let them sink into the ******* swamp.Big Daddy Unlimited

As you stated this is not how we usually operate and have been trying hard to get this corrected. We are seeing a slightly more steady flow now from this warehouse and trying to get orders out.
