1 starI've done business with them for years. Trying to move my main email address from Web.com over to Network Solutions has been a complete debacle. Apparently the "backend" engineers have "records" to erase, or some technical excuse jargon. I am now 10 DAYS without my main form of communications, my email address. No one knows what is going on. No one can help. No one has answers. I am completely at the mercy of the "engineers" as I've lost close to 7 grand while my clients and prospects notify me my emails are bouncing back. Imaging a client that just paid you $$$$ and your emails are now bouncing back?!20 years in business and I've dealt with frustration, but this is the worst possible experience I have ever had in a support matter. Shame on you Web.com AND Network Solutions. Neither of you have done anything to help me solve this issue. Trust me. This company is the worst.Review fromThomas M

1 starThese people are absolutely awful. They have run me through all kinds of loops to try to get me to stay with their platform. Which is completely f****** useless. I have never been so frustrated. Currently, they're holding my domain's hostage. But before that, they locked me for 3 months. Because of an address change, which is of course standard. But as soon as the 3 months were up and I tried to transfer again. They sent me an email confirming that it was me that had tried to that had done the. They sent me an email confirming that it had in fact been me that made the initial change. When I said yes, it was me. They started the 3 months over again. LOL now they will not release my domains and continuously. Promise me a resolution within 2 business days. Seeing that this is not uncommon. For them given all the many, many onesReview fromCraig M

1 starIncredibly rude customer service. I had to cancel my bank's debit card just to cancel my subscription. Then they take the extra effort to appeal my $16.00 claim, I get sent dozens of pieces of mail and probably hundreds of dollars they spent on showing me that I logged on to my account and therefore am "a consumer" of their service. 1 starSTAY AWAY from them, and all their various entities, register.com, web.com, networksolutions.com, etc. I just started my business this year, and went with them based on previous experience at a former company. Boy how things have changed. Their "support" staff are less intuitive than ChatGPT, and getting any issues resolved are near impossible. I purchased what I thought was a pretty simple package, an e-commerce site, email, and *** (which should be standard in 2023...) It took over a month to get the *** up and running, and on the first day it was live, it stopped working. Prior to that, they shut down my site for a billing error, becuase their system was stuck in a bill/refund loop, for 3 weeks... I would get charged, then refunded 5 hours later, everyday, for 3 weeks... needless to say, this makes my book-keeping a nightmare! I had to repeatedly email/chat/call into them just to be put on hold while the button pushers undoubtedly helped others. When they returned to the call, the answer was always "I submitted your request to the ************* team, and it should be resolved within 2 business days. Lies. My last interaction today, the agent told me to contact their *** department, at a specific number. I called that number, explained the issue, and the agent on the phone told me I needed to contact the *** department... at the same number I dialed to speak to them at... Avoid them at all costs, pay the extra $$$ for Wix, Square, etc.Review fromDJ H

1 starAs of 2023, company lacks adequate resources to support a safe, stable server infrastructure. It is dangerous for a business to let them their host email and web applications .Review fromJoe B

1 starI will never do business with web.com or register.com or network solutions again.By prohibiting me from unlocking my domain on their site, they essentially kept my domain hostage, forcing me to call them to request an unlocking, at which point they demanded to know why I wanted to unlock it. When I explained (which I shouldn't have to) that I wanted it with my hosting company, they claimed that I owed them $88.00 for renewal. That was a lie and even on their own site, it showed that my domain wouldn't expire for another day (and another part of their site said another year), and besides that, I had auto-renewal turned off, so no matter what, they were wrong in insisting that I owed them money because the domain hadn't even expired yet, let alone renewed! So she was forced to capitulate, but then tried to warn me that the auth code takes 24 hours to generate and that a transfer can take up to a week, at which point the domain will have expired. In other words, "you should stay with us." But that's manipulation because there's a 30 day grace ****** when it comes to expired domains, which I thankfully knew about, and let her know in no uncertain terms that "I'll worry about my own domain, thank you very much!"24 hours later, they emailed me to say it was unlocked and that an authorization code was generated and sent, but no such code arrived, forcing me to call again. Customer service said I had to wait another 24 hours to have another one generated! I said "No way. Retrieve the code on your end and get it to me." They were unable to do that. I said, "Then generate a new one now, not tomorrow. I don't trust your company and I'm not going to keep playing this game where every 24 hours they claim it was sent when it wasn't." Finally, they managed to manually generate a code, but I had to raise my blood pressure before then.If a company can't even handle something as small and simple as that without ******* off their customers, how can they manage bigger issues?!Review fromJeffery D

1 starI moved my hosting to Webs.com because I had a year long with the other provider. After moving everything, I now wanted to move the current Domains I already have. I contacted them 3 different times and told the same thing each time. I went there the transfer process and one domain has been moved. Now, It's offline. I contacted them 03/24/2023 and was given a totally Different information and had to pay an additional $24.00 on top of the $41..97. Now, Both Domains are offline and all they keep saying is 12 to 24 hour and its been 24 hours already. The lady counteracted herself multiple times during the conversation, The pricing changed multiple times as well. In the end conversation, she stuck her foot in her mouth when she finally got down to answering my question. The pricing she was quoting, "Did Not" include everything I had previously asked her about where she had answered "Yes" to multiple times when asked.Review fromNancy D

1 starFirst you pay for the website before you even see anything. Then you have to transfer your domain, with out any instruction on how to do that, so I contacted the customer service via chat and that was a joke. It took another 2 days to figure out, then you PAY again for that transfer. It took me quite a few day to figure all that out. I contacted them today 03.09.23 to cancel the whole deal because IT IS A HASSLE! I asked for a refund, but was denied because the account was over 3 days old! WTH!! These people are crooks and if you are not a website designer, go to weebly or wix, something like those because this one is HORRIBLE!Review fromAlexandria B

1 starWeb.com is a rip off! Horrible outsourced, rude customer contact. I never received actual service. Hours on phone getting no where near resolving any issue. Still waiting days for a manager to return a promised call back on a huge mistake they made by losing my entire e-commerce store! All my input work gone! So they decided to send me an email telling me I requested to cancel my business account. Domaine gone, my entire web site gone. This is all while they were charging me for 2 accounts . I only used 1 and that was down due to their negligence. This is how they decided to " resolve" their failure. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Horrible costly experience!
