      I got new ac 11/2022, coil was replaced under one year because it was defective, and now again coil is leaking. They sold me defective ac. Parts are covered under 5 year warranty but they are charging $400 for diagnosis plus labor fee. Very bad experience. I will never get any appliance from them anymore and will not recommend anyone because of my own personal experience.

      Recently Del-Air took over my HVAC service contract with Simpson. When my hot water heater was leaking water onto the floor I called Del-Air and they sent a plumber who advised a new water heater was required which he could do for $3,600. Recognizing this was exorbitant I called a plumber previously used and he quoted $2,100 but could not come until late tomorrow. I am handicapped, in mid-eighties with water running onto floor, I did not have the luxury of locating another plumber so I agreed to the price. After several calls to the Del-Air service department I finally got the manager who reluctantly agreed to a $650 reduction as I was already a service customer. I thought to share my experience so that others realize it may be very expensive to use Del-Air in emergency situations.

      So I had a new AC System installed and about 6 months in the blower motor failed. How does this happen with a new system is strange to me to be replacing a motor 6 months after new install. So I called for Warranty replacement and the tech arrives and finds the motor needs replaced but they have a 800 plus flat fee to replace it. That is rediculous. The only lower they did was 15 percent off of that so that came to around 600 something. This should not be the way you do business and you will not be getting mine in the future for any warranty work.

      I am reviewing the plumbing services for unclogging multiple clogs in two sinks, one toilet, and one bathtub. In addition, the flushing of the water heater. The plumber was quite knowledgeable and explained everything that he did. I will call Del Air for plumbing services whenever I need plumbing services next.

      Comprehensive checkup of HVAC system by ********/technician who is knowledgeable and appears to be committed to getting the job done well. My first experience with Del Air, now taking over ARS accounts in this area. Overall, good experience and I will be using Del Air for all my future HVAC and plumbing needs. Will be recommending Del Air and ******** to my neighbors.

      We have the DEL-AIR Precise Comfort Maintenance Plan for our home in ********* **. On 12/20/24 they performed maintenance. In the description of work it says, Found system low on Refrigerant, performed leak search and was not able to find a leak. Will like senior tech to come out and perform leak search on system. I never heard back from Del-Air. So I called in February for them to send a Sr. ***** It was scheduled for 2/7/25 they called and could not make the timeslot and we had to reschedule for 2/14/25. *****, Tech arrived 2/14 around 10:30am. He told my daughter there is a service charge of $250. She said this was part of the 12/20 maintenance that was performed. He hesitantly said ok. Two hours later ***** and my daughter call me. ***** says he found the leak, copper tubing needs soldering and the cost is $2200 minus 15% off because we have the plan so $1870. I was shocked and bewildered and did not know what to do. Not repairing would lead to worse damage and higher cost. Del-air basically put me in a no win situation with their overcharging and price gouging. ***** not only got Del-Air the $250 service call they were trying to charge me but hundreds of dollars extra. Truly I tell you they took advantage of the customer. There were no parts involved. This was all labor. ***** was there 4 hours total, so 2 hours as part of the maintenance plan and 2 hours for the fix. So Del-Air charges $1100/hour. Really? How unfair and unrealistic is this? If Del-Air management wishes to credit back some of this ridiculous cost I will let you know. Not happy with them at all.

      Buyer Beware. I chose Del Air because the previous home owners recommended them and they seemed to be a credible company. Our HVAC system was failing so we purchased a top-of-the-line Lennox heat pump system from Del Air. There was mold in our existing system, so we opted for a full replacement to include new air handler platform, new outdoor concrete pad, all permits and a $1,800 rebate from Lennox - which we were told to expect in the mail in 3-4 weeks. Problems began immediately - no supervision of the installation crew which did not seem to fully comprehend the scope of work. The outdoor compressor unit was installed on the existing concrete pad and the indoor (garage) air handler was installed on the old platform. When I questioned the crew, they ensured me the old concrete pad was better than what they would install and there was nothing wrong w/ the platform other than some coach ***** waste on the plywood. When I approached Del Air about consideration for work quoted, but not completed, I was offered a couple of boxes of air filters for the system. 4-weeks later, I called Del Air about the permits, ****** rebate and air filters. They immediately applied for the permits (yes, weeks after the work was completed) and finally registered the system w/ Del Air so that we might see the promised rebate in 3-4 weeks. Still no filters as a very modest compensation for work contracted, but not completed. Do not trust Del Air to deliver as promised (even in writing). Be prepared to supervise work and interact with office staff frequently to resolve outstanding work deficiencies. I will not choose Del Air for a new HVAC system going forward. Very frustrated and disappointed. ***** *. **************, **.

      Del-air has taken action to address the concerns raised in my initial post. We have received appropriate consideration for the work quoted but not performed and the manager ensured the Lennox rebate and city permits were processed.
