We been with this credit union for 2 years with direct debit to pay our solar panel payment and never been late. They increase our payment and didnt debit and charged us a late fee when they had the account information to debit from all along and been debiting from. When called they just stated they dont waive fees unless its a cu mistake if not theirs then who? They claimed they called once account was late but why no one called before if they need it new authorization for the increased amount. They are very irresponsible and condescending when we called and asked for the fee to be waiver as it was not our error and may have been an honest mistake on their end but no fee was waived and when asked for a supervisor we ere just put on a long hold to get a team leader ( word for another coworker)Addition Financial Credit Union

I am so upset with Addition Financial right now, my blood is boiling. I've been a member of credit unions since my career started 27 years ago and for the first time, this institution is leaving an awful experience that is about to end with me. I opened a credit card, on top of my checking and savings accounts. I transferred a balance to that card from another institution not really understanding that I would be charged double interest. They claimed it was a good deal because the transfer balance was a low interest rate, but it was only for a promotional period. Well, my minimal balance was high, because of that DOUBLE interest. I had trouble paying, balance not moving and I rarely used the card, it just continues to rise. Without even trying to speak with me, they went into my account TWO DAYS AFTER Christmas! Withdrew funds ( a good amount) without notice because in their terms I was LATE and they have the right to do so. Well I was not late, I make payments, just not the minimum (which was HIGH monthly). I tried to negotiate that back and I couldn't. I was even going to complete a possible hardship. This really put me in a financial bind going into the 1st day of the New Year. Didn't even have money to buy groceries! So now I went ahead and paid what I thought was a minimal balance for the month of January but again but no, according to statements, it's not. The minimum is NOT reasonable. I'm VERY upset with this institution that I have banked with them for over 10 years, NO MORE. This is not how you do business with long standing members. I will not be recommending them moving forward.Addition Financial Credit Union

When paying my credit card (at another institution) I accidentally paid the whole balance instead of a partial payment. Well neither the credit company or Addition could stop the payment. Addition charged me $35 twice for NSF fee. I finally got on the phone with them and they told me I would have to fill out a form before 10AM in order to avoid another $35 fee and that there would be another $30 fee for stopping the payment. So basically, because of a quick mistake, I ended up paying $120 dollars to Addition and no payments towards my credit balance. I like Addition but these fees are really annoying, especially for someone who has been a member for close to 10 years.Addition Financial Credit Union

I was in a hit and run accident on Oct 11th. My auto loan is with Addition Financial. My insurance company deemed the car a total loss and is ready to cut the check and pay off the car. Addition has not sent in the paperwork (perfected title as they call it) that the insurance company needs in order to pay off the balance of the car. I am about to have to make a second payment on a car that doesn't exist anymore. Every time I did speak to anyone my anxiety goes through the roof because I am not getting any help! I stopped calling for a few days to see if anyone will call me back and give me status...NO ONE called. I called them again today and left a message...NOTHING. First, I was victimized by the hit and run driver...now I'm being victimized by Addition. I have learned my lesson. Never EVER again!!!!Addition Financial Credit Union

When I or my wife uses online banking, we are frequently "locked out", per the site. I was thinking that somebody was trying to hack my account, but it turns out that this is a software "glitch" that will not be corrected until July 2024, per their "help" line. That seems like an outrageously long time to repair a glitch that is very inconvenient for their customers. Basically, this means you must either re-set your password or call their "help" line every few weeks. It demonstrates a very cavalier attitude toward their customers, imho.Addition Financial Credit Union

Worse bank ever
My account was hacked few weeks ago
I went to the branch on orange avenue to freeze the account and I was shocked to see how nasty and unprofessional they are with customers. I called the fraud department few times. They created a ticket or whatever they called but as of today
No one never called me .
I strongly believe that some banks , are the ones to be blamed for accounts to be hacked . You would think that they have a way of protecting your funds . I don’t understand with the technology today how is it possible for random people to go to someone’s account and make many transactions in a day without the bank sending an alert ? Had my checking and savings with this bank for 12 years with absolutely no issues never ever a NSF never a stop payment on the account. Five figures in my savings at all times. I took a job and moved to Atlanta and needed to close my accounts. I left $300 in checking to keep the account open in case a direct deposit came through. Unfortunately, we had an account that we did not get the information changed on and a debit to pay a credit card bill came through on this account and there was not sufficient funds. We called the bank and instead of taking care of it for us they let it bounce twice and charged us $70, if I could give this is zero stars I would almost 13 years with no issues and they take me for $70 on my way out. I still have a lot of friends in Central Florida. I will certainly let them know how poorly I’ve been treated at Addition Financial. Petty petty people.Addition Financial Credit Union
