      I am going straight to the point, my Addition savings account that was setup with my car loan was closed without providing me notice. I talked to them and I told them that car loan/savings accounts were setup when it was CFE (prior to the addition acquisition). The savings account had no fees and no required minimum balance. The response I got was when I paid off my car loan, the savings account no longer is subjected with the no required minimum balance. Addition was charging my saving account with penalties and which eventually they closed my account. My funds are no longer available. I was never notified (mail, phone, email, etc). I have been advised that the amount I had in it will time and cost me more taking them to court. ADDITION FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION are a bunch of CROOKS!

      Thank you for your review, Rhoderick.  We understand
      that it can be frustrating when you did not receive the service experience that
      you expected regarding your account with Addition Financial.  Our
      investigation into this issue shows that after your auto loan was paid off, the
      funds remaining in the savings account did not meet the minimum balance
      requirement.  With periodic e-statements delivered and access to online
      banking, we do encourage our members to monitor their accounts regularly. 
      Either the statement or online banking would have helped you identify the
      balance lowering monthly.  If you would like to tell us more about this

      Addition Fi has been decent up until recently. I am self-employed and utilize the mobile check deposit feature on the app quite frequently. I have not had any issues until recently. Twice in the last two months a check was posted/cleared in my account after a mobile upload and then the next day it was rejected, with no explanation and led to me overdrafting on the account. I don't understand how it can go from, everything is good and the money is in the account to being rejected with NO notification. I just happened to log into my account for another reason and discovered this issue. Either get rid of the mobile check deposit or fix the issue. This is ridiculous in 2023 that you can't get an app to work. Truist, my business account, has no issues with mobile check depositing and their app is far superior.

      investigating your concerns, we found that the rejections were due to illegible
      check images, and while adjustments were made, the notifications were sent to

      So I just attempted to apply for car loan and was sent an email saying I’ve been approved. I call in to see what docs I need to upload (because god forbid they actually tell you) and am proceeded to be chided by their loan officer for my credit score and financial situation. Yep, can’t make this up. She quotes me a rate and immediately goes “wait this is totally wrong, this can’t be right, you have X credit score, if we finance you it’s be LIKE WAY MORE THAN THAT. In fact, they can’t even give me a rate, I’m such a horrible candidate apparently. Credit score is average range, and income is very healthy. This triggers me to cancel my account. So I’ve now got a hit in my credit for nothing. I’ve been there for 5 years and They are the furthest thing from a credit union you could imagine, I’ve been treated better by a pawn shop .I’m moving my account next week to capital one. They offer nothing personal, a poor and uneducated call center, terrible and insecure mobile app, and stunningly rude customer service. Once upon a time when they were CFTU it was different, but this place is literally the dollar rental of banks

      a clear and thoughtful way. In regard to your current financial status and
      feeling judged, we will do better to train our team members to ensure that our
      members are given only the most courteous service. Regarding the loan itself,
      Addition Financial was unable to provide the rate during your call to our
      Contact Center due to the credit score we had since we did not have the details
      of the vehicle. The vehicle serves as a security for the loan and its value

      I have been with Addition Financial for over 10 years, it is the only bank I have ever been with. They nickel and dime you for every little thing, there are so many fees. I have recently came into money through an unfortunate passing of a family member and I thought I would never have to worry about fees again, but Addition Financial finds a way. I get e-mailed my transactions, and they literally processed six transactions within a two minute time period so that they could max out my automatic transfer from savings and then charge me a $35 courtesy pay fee. Oh, and, there's a $3 transfer fee for each transaction. Now that I am debt free, and have good credit and finances, I am going to switch to another bank. Maybe the next bank will have fees too, but Addition Financial has profited off me for long enough.

      the items in your review. While on the call, we set up the low balance
      notification and then refunded the courtesy pay and transfer fees as a courtesy. At the end of
      the call it seemed like everything had been resolved and you should also
      receive a new debit card by mail with the updated name. If there’s anything

      This is the worst bank ever, they know how to ripped off people and is all about taking your money in fees to suit themselves. My full direct deposit was going into this credit union account and I have to change it because, we get paid on every other Monday but most banks if you access to your funds as every as the Friday or Saturday this Additional Financial DON'T you have to wait until the Monday so I just change from having my full to just a percentage of direct deposit go into their bank. Next ripped off with this credit union is they pay your overdrawn fees to suit themselves and cheat people. They always denied my overdrawn transaction. But this week when they see my direct deposit go in they paid all my overdrawn transactions,3/2 multiple times this week all less than $26 and less than $20 with a courtesy fee of $35. Then all of a sudden I have access to my direct deposit 3/3 on Friday not Monday, This is so wrong. And with be closing this account. But need to warn people that's struggling financially due to any reason mine is because I am in the Nursing program with Valencia and UCF and have to pay for my UCF classes out of pocket. Leave this bank run ????? ????? ????? from them.

      into the issue regarding your student account, it was determined that your
      account should not have been enrolled in the courtesy pay program. 
      Therefore on 03/27/2023 we refunded fees for all five items presented for
      payment and the program has been deactivated.  As a follow-up, a Regional
      Director of our Branch Operations team sent you a letter and left you a
      voicemail. Please give us a call to confirm that you have received this

      I got shorted $20 today. I went to make my monthly deposit and I always db check the money before I put it in envelope. Plus what I pulled out equal that much but I still always like to double check and I have counted money for over 20 years being a restaurant manager handle a lot of money every day so I know how to count it.. I won’t be making the same deposit for over 10 years I go to the one on Orange Avenue in Colonial for the first time I always go to the one on Alafaya in Colonial, which I get good customer service there and have never had an issue. I come here once because I have to be on this side of town and what happens I’m short $20 I get crap customer service stating oh well that’s your problem. All I asked for was to sit there and have a manager double check the video footage and to double check to make sure I didn’t get stuck in bed to give me a call back so I know someone has double checked. Since I still have to pay my rent, I go get the $20 out of the ATM and having to pay the three dollar ATM fee go inside so I can pay my rent and Miss Renee claims she’s a manager and she checked it and the machine doesn’t make errors. Basically that’s your problem. Unfortunately I didn’t have any proof so I know I can’t sit there and fight it so I pulled out of line I double checked my car even though I know I double counted it before I put it in the envelope. I went and got the $20 and made a deposit, but still how I got treated I will make sure a I will tell everyone never to get a bank account there because of their customer service like I reading the comments and for two don’t make your deposits through drive-through go inside so you can actually physically watch them count that money!!! $20 might not be a lot to some people but it is to me!

      If i can give 0 stars i would. This Bank is the worse. They Charge you late fees after they themselves help you set up recurring payments. From the minute my first payment started they denied that I was set up for recurring payments but they were deducting from my account. They also said that they do not waive late fees ever. Not even a one time courtesy. But let me remind you I was never late to start with. They automatically go into your savings account and collect Late fees but won't take your monthly payment. These people are a joke. The website is always crashing so even if you want to make a payment you can't but they are quick to charge late fees. I regret letting KIA convince me to Do my financing through these clowns. I am definitely taking my car loan to a real bank. That has a system that works and values their customers. They just want to try to repo my car because I gave a huge Down payment but guess what clowns. This is one vehicle you will never get and you will never receive a penny from me or my Company!! Everyone should report than to the Better Business Bureau so they can get investigated!!

An internal investigation was conducted by our Member Experience team and we found that your account was set up for recurring payments. The 1st deposit that you made had the sufficient funds necessary to cover your 1st payment. However, the next recurring payment amount was only a partial payment. This caused a late fee to trigger for the past due balance. It seems that you have since adjusted your recurring payment to cover the total monthly payments with sufficient funds.       YOU SAID THE CORRECT WORDS I WAS SET UP FOR AUTO PAY AND ALL MY ACCOUNTS HAVE FUNDS. ONCE AGAIN YOU KNEW HOW TO PULL THE LATE FEE BUT NOT THE PREMIUM. YOU GUYS ARE A JOKE AND ACCORDING TO ALL YOUR REVIEWS YOU GUYS HAVE MANY ISSUES WITH CUSTOMERS AND PAYMENTS. EVERY BANK WAIVES ONE COURTESY LATE FEE ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CUSTOMER CAN PROVE THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON.       I received a text asking if I had made a purchase of $159 on my Paypal Account. I called the number shown to let them know I had not made the purchase. The fraud representative tells me that based on what I am telling her, she has to disable my ATM card. I was driving in my car on I-4 and asked her not to disable it until I got gas in my car. We went back and forth until she tells me that she is going to talk to a manager. I found a gas station to fill up my car, but the card was not in service by the time I got to the pump. The rep comes back on the phone and I asked why did she cancel my ATM when I was begging her to allow me to use the money in MY bank account to get gas. I was crying at this time since I had no other way to pay for gas or lunch. Rep tells me she is going to help me and brings a manager on the phone who tells me there is nothing she can do to help me and left me stranded 45 minutes from my home. The Rep was more concerned the bank was going to lose $159 versus assisting a customer of 30 years with this institution. Terrible experience, and terrible customer service.

      Thank you for your review, Bibi. We understand your frustration regarding the service received in regards to the situation involving possible fraud on your account and disabling your card. When a member informs us that they do not recognize a purchase made on their account our policy is to block the identified card immediately in order to avoid current and future fraud. Keeping the card open would have made the credit union liable for the $159.00 charge plus any additional fraud transaction. The actions taken by our third party company are in line with our consistent effort to keep both the member and the credit union protected from fraud. Member safety is our number one priority.       I would give them zero Stars but it makes me give one. Do not Bank here. You will not be able to access your account at all maybe 4 hours a day the online banking is available the rest of the time you will not be able to get on. Customer service is the worst they are rude and will hang up on you multiple times. It takes an average of 30 minutes for them to even answer the phone. I will be closing my account shortly because I feel this bank is involved in some kind of fraud. Go anywhere else but do not bank here you will regret it.

      Addition Financial is a disaster. It takes about an hour (on a good day) to get someone on the phone. They also employ blacklists from the internet without any understanding of what they are, frequently denying entire households from online banking because some immature kid downloaded and anime game to his phone. We are leaving as soon as we get new accounts setup somewhere, ANYWHERE. Had it with them.
