I purchased a new ******* refrigerator, and it was delivered 11/29/23. By December 15, we noticed the freezer was not as cold as it should be. A couple of days later we noticed a drastic decline in temperature, so we contacted *******. After trouble shooting, they created a service ticket through Cone Appliance. It is now January 2, and we have yet to receive service. We get these random text messages from the company, but they either have incorrect information or they say we will be contacted in 1-2 business days. We went through the holidays without a working refrigerator/freezer. Now we are getting ready to start back school, and we still do not have one. This means that I am limited when it comes to fixing my kids' lunches. I begged ******* to not use this company, but they just keep going back to them. They told me to call Cone Appliance and talk to someone. When called, a very rude person answers the phone and puts you on hold, and no one comes back to the line.Initial Complaint

My ******* stove/range went out on December 9th. Cone Appliance Repair is the service provider selected by ******* Warranty department to complete the repair. They initially scheduled for the December 14th, cancelled, rescheduled for the 18th. They came out and said they could not complete the job and rescheduled for the following day. The following day I received an email from ******* saying that my stove was repaired. Cone Appliance and Repair put in the notes that they changed out parts, made repairs, and oven was in working condition. THE CONE TECHNICIAN DID NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ON THE ***** AT ALL. Once they ****ed the ticket completed, the technician blocked my phone number so I was no longer able to reach out. The business will not answer any calls nor emails. I spent the entire day on the phone with *******, and we called relentlessly. Our call was answered once, but once they realized ******* was on the line, she hung up and no one ever answered again. This makes a bigger issue because *******s departments arent cohesive enough to understand that this company take the service jobs, do no complete any work, **** the service request as complete, and then block all contact with customer and ******* agents to explain what is going on. ******* then has to create a new ticket for the same service job, restarting the entire process. It is now the weekend of Christmas, and because of Cone Appliance and shady practices, my stove will not work before the holidays although request was put in for the 9th. Based off my research thru ******* Yelp and other review sites for Cone, over 95% of reviewers faced the same issue as I. I will work diligently to expose this company and for their contract to end with ******* so no one else will have to experience the nightmare I have with dealing with this companyInitial Complaint

******* dryer is 3 months old. It broke and would not heat. Called *******. ******* scheduled an appt. after they called Cone Appliance. I had 2 different appointments (all within 2 weeks- not very fast mind you). First was a no show. 2nd time, *** came to fix and didn't bring both items. He brought a thermostat but not the ignitor. They had 2 weeks to get the parts in before the appointment and someone in house dropped the ball. *** replaced the thermostat and it worked for 2 hours and then it broke again. I called Cone Appliance again. AND AGAIN, NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK. I have called and left messages and texts. For a total of 63 times and NO ONE CALLS BACK. This business is a joke. DONT EVER USE THEM!!! They have 8 lines coming in and one girl answering the phones. What a poor set up for a small business and the owner takes no responsibility.Customer Answer

Date of ineffective repair 12/08/2023. 10am After numerous calls, never returns calls , nor answers calls, puts u on hold 10+ min till u hang up and texts all logged on my cell, replaced ************************ ice , identical problem. Notified them the only way by text as email they dont respond. Got 1 response by text and nothing further. Their actions are obvious. Whether or not the repair works is irrelevant to them in my opinion. The tech asks to be left a good review which I did. After all , ice isnt instantaneous. Tech was polite & neat. Nobody has returned nor offered to return, other than a text other day that tech will contact me which hasnt happened. It is now December 13th. If this company took the time to provide decent customer service as they did to reply to complaints on BBB, they wouldnt have as many complaints. I had a simple microwave repair. Tech came out, looked at it and said hed return within the week to repair. I called multiple times and finally got someone who told me I wasnt on the schedule when the repair tech said he would be back on that specific day. Then the tech lied and said I had him waiting when in fact he was late and I told him prior because of him being late that I had to leave for 5 mins to get my daughter from school and he said it was not an issue * have text message conversation to prove this. They are absolutely the worst and unprofessional. How they treat customers is absolutely disgusting. They seem to have all the time in the world to reply to complaints on here but just try calling their number. Theyre absolutely awful.Initial Complaint

We purchased a ******* washer and dryer in November of 2022. The machines were in need of repair in September of 2023. We contacted ******* and the appliances were under warranty. ******* approved Cone Appliance Repair to repair the washer and dryer. They first came out in September of 2023 to assess the repairs and order parts. Once the parts were in they came back in mid-October 2023 to perform the repairs. Shortly thereafter we noticed the washer and dryer were not functionng properly. The washer is making loud noises and seems to be unsafe. The dryer is not drying. We have small children and are concerned. We contacted Cone Appliance several times. After we explained that they needed to resolve their own repair issues, they told us to call *******. We tried that and ******* told us to call Cone. **** was EXTREMELY rude and hung up on both me and my wife even after we told them this was a saftey issue. They simply did not care and were completely dismissive of the seriousness of the problem.Initial Complaint

I purchased a dishwasher from ******* 1.5 years ago. The pump went out on it which is stated on their website to be covered for 5 years. I have spent the passes 3 months on the phone with them scheduling Cone appliance to come make the repair. Every appointment was cancelled until I threaten legal action which got me my repair. Cone made the repair and the machine is still not working. I have attempted to call and text **** back out to get assistance but they put me on hold for long amounts of time then end the call.Initial Complaint

Builder Purchased DVE50R5200W dryer for new home in November 2022.Installed by Builder in August 2023. Dryer failed 10/19/23 and reported to ******** ******* Used Cone Appliance for Warranty Repair. 1st service scheduling took 10 days and unable to fix problem. ************** will not work. Ordered New Computer board.2nd scheduled service took another 10 days Installed New computer board and still unable to repair and correct problem. ************** will not work.Technician lied on paperwork and Notes to ******* saying ***** was working after second visit. ***** has not worked for almost a month. ******* will not replace dryer without accurate and true statement from Appliance Repair. ********* is the most rude and unprofessional person around. Cone Appliance sent me a text message setting up a repair window from 12pm to 4pm. My wife and I were here all day and they did not show up. We called several times and they refused to answer the phone. I got a call at 518 pm from the technician who stated that he was on his way and at that point we had left already to run errands we had put on hold. My warranty expired on the 31st of October and now ********* says it was our fault and decided to cancel out tickets which ruins our chances of the repair being done since we are now out of warranty.Initial Complaint

I was sent to this company by ******* for a repair of my television. First I had to leave 3-4 messages to get anyone to call me. Then they lied and stated they had to wait a week to schedule a part before even asking what was wrong with the *** How could they possibly know what part to order before they knew what the problem was. Then when the guy was there he clearly had not ordered anything. He finally ended up rooting round in his truck and finding a circuit board needed and attempted to install it and stated the board was faulty. I was told the television would likely be replaced at that point. The woman on the phone then lied and stated that that board was ordered specifically for my tv even when I explained that the tech was literally searching his truck saying he may possibly have a board that fit my *** She claimed "he's new and doesn't know what he is doing." After several more calls they told me the manager approved a new TV and to "call ******* to get a new ticket number and they would take care of the rest" After 4 additional phone calls to get my new TV as promised by them, I finally got in touch with someone who stated a new TV would have to come from *******, they lied again claiming that ******* had canceled the ticket and given it to a new service center and they had absolutely no idea why, and then out me on an endless hold without picking up. I got in touch with ******* and they stated that the company Cone Appliance Repair specifically requested them to cancel the ticket with me 9in other words, they lied to me about ******* canceling it after promising me a new ***
