  Performance Air Conditioning, Electric, & Plumbing get one stars only because I can't leave ZERO stars!!We have had the same experience as the other reviews have expressed. I wish I read these reviews prior to signing up with them. They signed us up for their monthly service, and have been charging us $37.00 every month. We have made several appointment to have our air conditioner serviced under the service plan, and every time they have canceled the appointment at the last hour after we have already taken time off of work. This company is a scam!!! Do not use Performance Air Conditioning!!!

  Terrible Experience with Performance Air Conditioning, Electric, & Plumbing! I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Performance Air, and I suggest not doing business with this company. We went without air conditioning for over a month, thanks to their incompetence and misdiagnosis of our AC problem. They claimed we needed a back-ordered part from Trane, which turned out to be completely unnecessary. While waiting on the backordered part, communication with Performance Air was abysmal, and their lack of follow-up was unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts to reach out to Jason, the manager, we received little to no response. Trevor in dispatch dished out some of the worst customer service by telling us "he would try to get a message to the manager". Try? It was frustrating to be left in the dark with no updates or progress on our air conditioning issue. I will say, Kayla, tried to help us and was the only responsive person, so the one star is for her. In sheer desperation, we sought a second opinion and contacted Burgess Heating & Air, in Safety Harbor. To our relief, they quickly identified and resolved the problem the same day we reached out to them. Not only did they provide a prompt solution, but they also charged us $500 less than what Performance Air had initially quoted us. This stark contrast in both service and pricing emphasizes the incompetence and overcharging we experienced with Performance Air. Overall, I strongly discourage anyone from using Performance Air. Their failure to address our air conditioning problems, coupled with their misleading diagnosis and poor communication, left us without relief for an unnecessarily long period. Instead, consider reputable alternatives like Burgess Air, who will promptly address your needs at a fair price.

  This company is misleading. A man came out to give us a quote for some AC work, then signed us up for their monthly Membership of $19 a month, which took us over a year to catch. We never used services. It’s impossible to get someone on the phone that can address any issues. I have an email confirmation of an appt and when no one showed up and I called they asked “why no one had called me?”. I took the time off of work. So you sign up for the service calls as part of your membership and then no one shows up. Such a scam.

  Performance have me paying for an **** dollar job that I didn't need. They had inform me that I had a block sewer drain that need to be replaced. They replaced the sewer drain on 3/16/2023 2 days later the drain backs up again they came back out the Performance ********************* couldn't unblock the drain. So he had to call the ********************* to come they come out unblock the drain they let me know the block part of the drain was coming from the city part of the sewer drain not on my side of the sewer drain. Today is 3/27/2023 the sewer drain they replaced and dug up is still in covered. They inform me someone supposed to be coming out next week April 3rd. But I have heard this story for the past two weeks. When I inform **** that the blockage was on the city side of the drain. He told me I would have eventually needed a new sewer drain he didn't care the job was done. They knew I didn't need a new sewer drain because they used a camera.

  Don't waste the time on this company. A/C went down. Came on Saturday. $89.00 for visit. Estimate on repairs would be almost $1900.00 or $10 to 14 Thousand for a new unit, and of course said a new unit was needed. Nothing fixed. Called another company and paid $150.00 to change 1 part and all is fixed.Only want your money. Doesn't even deserve 1 star, but you have to select one.

  The salesman disappeared after I pay the bill . Call and left message and Tex message to manager non response. Incredible disappoint I will definitely not use this company anymore.
