3 starsSent in my phone using "good" condition. The phone had no major flaws, a few light scratches but nothing out of the ordinary for something 6 years old. The offer for it was $135. They received it and then changed the offer to $83 citing that it has "excessive scratching". Interestingly enough, this was even worse than their "fair" condition price ($98). I argued with them and they raised the offer to the fair condition price, but ultimately I decided not to take their offer. They shipped the phone back and did not charge me for the return shipping.I don't think they are scammers, but I do think they use bait prices to lure you in to sending your device and then try to lowball you once they have it. A lot of people probably accept the lowball offer because at this point the company has your device and you feel at a disadvantage.Their customer service was actually pretty good and worked with me before mailing my phone back. 1 starThe company lacks transparency in how they value products for trade-in. On their website, they provide guidelines for different quality classifications (e.g., sealed, flawless, good), including a standard for battery capacity. However, during the valuation process, there is a separate section that evaluates battery capacity, and the criteria there differ somewhat from those in the overall quality classification. This inconsistency makes it unclear which part of the process should take precedence when determining battery capacity.The company claimed that my laptop arrived with several issues: the monitor wasnt holding up, the audio **** was dysfunctional, and the battery capacity didnt meet the standard for a good rating. However, in my experience, the audio **** requires driver installation after Windows setup, which they failed to perform. When the unit was returned to me, I noticed that they hadnt installed Windows, and the monitor was clearly functional. As for the battery capacity, it was considered good in the battery-specific section of the workflow, but slightly substandard (75% vs. 80%) under the overall quality measurement. Again, its unclear which classification should take precedence.If my confusion weren't enough, the company seems to be confused by their own rating system. When they presented an updated offer, they downgraded the laptop to fair, but the buyback value they offered was lower than what is listed for the fair category. After I pointed out the inconsistency, they revised the rating to brokenfurther illustrating that they don't seem to have a clear understanding of their own classification system.While the no commitment policy did provide an escape from the confusing process, I was left frustrated (and feeling misled) by the lack of clarity and consistency in their valuation system.Review fromMitch B

Their process was simple and straightforward, and their quote was the highest out there. They were very helpful and supportive when they determined that I had not properly disengaged my laptop from ****** before I sent it to them, and they walked me through the steps I had to take. I will definitely use them again for selling my used electronics.
