-Dumpster and Garbage trucks are using the ********** Subdivision in *********,** (specifically on the 18th pl E road) as a ************** to avoid traffic on route 64 -causes significant safety hazards -subdivision is private property and this activity is unauthorized and needs to cease immediately -on 8/7/2024 a large dumpster truck was observed on 18th pl e causing a safety issue with local children -other incidents are trucks coming in on off days here such as tuesday and saturday and causing safety issues with children playing/residents -please stop this activity immmediatelyCustomer Answer

As a property owner in Florida, I am required to use Waste Pro in ****************. Yard debris pickup is supposed to be every two weeks, but it is a 50% chance that doesn't happen. Therefore at least 50% of the time it sits in front of my house for at least a month before pickup. UNACCEPTABLE! I am required by law to pay for this service. I am not being given a choice when the service sucks! Again, UNACCEPTABLE!!! No matter how often I complain, nothing has changed the last two years. . Have even been lied to! They weren't in the neighborhood last time, but all of the garbage was picked up at my neighbor's house around the corner. Still, they stuck to the story and came out the next day. Now I need another pickup and they did not come. Can't wait to hear the latest excuse.Business Response

I called WastePro at the beginning of the year to inform them that I would not be renewing my services with them as I was moving from the address they had serviced at the end of my one-year lease and would no longer require their services. The lady on the phone informed me that they would pickup their cans and I would not receive any further invoices. That did not happen. They continued to send me paper bills (forwarded to my new address by the ***** and bombarded me with text messages about my "overdue" account, despite multiple unanswered emails. Now they have their inside collection agency harassing me. I have tried calling again and cannot get through. I have sent three different emails that have not been answered, one of them being to their corporate office. As on July 27, I have confirmed with the current residents that their cans have still not been picked up and services have not been rendered in months now. I want this nonsense to end immediately. This is completely unacceptable.Business Response

I received notice a couple of months ago that ******** Services would no longer be servicing my neighborhood and that trash/recycling services would be transferred to Waste Pro - *********************. The price was the same at ******** Services, which had recently gone up. I did not sign a new contract with Waste Pro, but when I went to cancel my services as a new lower cost provider began servicing my neighborhood, I was told that because i had paid for the upcoming quarter that they could not refund me for any dates that they would not be servicing my home. This equates to 2/3 of the quarter and more than $80 for services that they will not be providing to me in line with their company policies (which I did not agree to as my plan was acquired). It is unheard of today to not refund a customer for services not rendered when you are charging them 3 months in advance. This is plain terrible business and customer service. The excuse of "we can't do that" isn't enough today, everyone is capable, they just aren't willing to actually serve the customer.Business Response

In May of 2024 we had ************* with Republic who decided they no longer wanted to service our area and turned our routes (sold) to Waste Pro. They informed their customers that this was going to happen in April of 2024. I decided in April of 2024 to switched *************s in April of 2024 after being informed from Republic that the service would be changing to Waste Pro. Republic canceled my service in Mid May, picked up my trash cans on May 22 and even wrote me a refund check dated May 24th. Waste Pro decided to continue my service without my permission. Once I started to receive invoices I called them to explain the situation. I talked to a ***** ( X ******) at 4:40 on July 9th 2024 and explain what had happen. She was extremely nice and told me she would cancel the charges and then cancel my account. I asked for an email with something in writing, a balance statement or something. ***** verified my email and told she would send me something once we got of the phone. Today is July 13th, and I just logged into my account and I still have a balance and I have no email. This was after I spent 40 minutes on hold and then had to explain to ***** what experience I have had with their company. This is fraud, I would not do business with this company.Business Response

I pay for waste pro and this isnt the first incident. I called today after the yard waste was picked up because they left a pile of it right in front of where it was picked up. I asked to speak to the manager however they werent in and the receptionist said she would leave a message and get it picked up. I came home at 9:50pm and its still there l. I live in an hoa where stuff like this isnt acceptable. Im tired of paying a company that doesnt care.Business Response

Being a disabled veteran I have side yard pickup. I put a plastic bag in curb side roll out bin. Waste pro employee took plastic bag of trash out of bin, put it in the bed of my pickup truck and left. I was forced to roll out my yard waste bin from backyard, take garbage bag from bed of truck where waste pro employee put it, put bag of trash in yard waste bid and notify waste pro. I waited for waste pro to come do what they could have *** should have done the first time. Waste pro eventually was able to correctly pick up bag of trash. Finally I was forced to roll yard waste can to my backyard to return it. Im shocked as you. Dude literally put bag of trash in my pickup truck bed and left. I paid for that abuseBusiness Response

The first time I submitted a written complaint directly to Waste Pro was in 2017 regarding their drivers walking across my lawn to service my neighbor's house. At that time, we had just had a big storm and were trying to regrow a large swath of sod that Waste Pro drivers kept trampling on to service someone else's house. Before I submitted the formal written complaint, I kindly asked the driver to please stop walking across our lawn to service the neighbor's house. He let me have it! This man towered over me. I am 5'4 and half his weight. He kept doing it. I had to submit a formal written complaint. Yes, I said 2017. And yes, I am aware it is now 2024. Hence my plight because it continues to happen. It has been seven incredibly long years of dealing with this issue. Additionally, their recyclables Saturday morning driver, spends 15 - 20 minutes every Saturday morning parked outside of our master bedroom window while he texts and smokes one cigarette after another. He leaves his cigarette butts on our lawn. Yes, the garbage man leaves his garbage on our lawn. You read that correctly. Then the trash bin collectors for the regular trash and bulk trash drop garbage everywhere throughout the neighborhood and pretend like they don't notice what they dropped. Or they walk straight across people's lawns to service someone else's house, dragging neighbor's dirty bins across other people's lawns, while dropping all kinds of rubbish. And leave them exactly where they drop them. If you have an issue with Waste Pro's lack of service, be ready to spend seven (yes, 7!!!) years to have such a minor issued fixed. It is beyond their comprehension or abilities. This is very clearly a upper management problem.Business Response

This communication was sent via email on Wednesday 6/19/2022. I addressed all of her recent concerns. After, investigating her concerns, we ensured that we communicated with the drivers to ensure that we don't have any issues moving forward. When we viewed the video footage, we saw that the drivers did everything correctly. We have multiple drivers that services *********************** cart and ensured that they are aware, not to walk on her lawn or smoking cigarettes in front of her house while on break.
After receiving this complaint, I left her my direct number for *********************** to call me with any issues moving forward.
