    Order place 1-15-2024 by e check, received confirmation they received. Today 1-29-24 is 11 business days haven't heard nothing, emailed them -no answer, called placed on hold for 23 mins. Then I am told after check clearance it will take 3-5 more weeks because they are backlogged. Other coin dealers process a E-CHECK in 2-3 days then ship, this company says it has a 10 business day hold on E-CHECKS, It seems like they use customers money to purchase coins ordered. SORRY JUST NOTHING BUT BS. No CUSTOMER SERVICE there are several other companies to deal with with good service. There address on web will not show up on line WHY. To many games Do Not Trust, BUYER BE WEAR. NO Response?????????? Never will order anything again from these people. Note Photo of building on line just looks like a retail store front-WATCH OUT nota bullion dealer. Most Coin bullion and retail operations complete deals in less than a week not 7-8 weeks when they say is in stock. One Star for nice marketing Web Site- nothing else

    Gainesville Coins—I am done with them. Done –done- done. I ordered some products from them back in early Oct. and here it is almost January and I was still waiting for my order. When you call you are on hold for a 15 minute loop and then it just disconnects you. I called one time and waited for two complete loops (30 min) and then on the third call after sometime, someone finally answered the phone. When you do finally get someone to talk to, no one knows anything. Vague verbiage. Getting info from them is like pulling teeth. That is not professional and is not acceptable especially when for some customers there are 1000s of dollars involved. They will tell you they are very busy have a lot of orders to fill. That may or may not be so. I understand that at times they may be busy, but that is not my problem. They can at least let me know where I’m at on the order list and about when I can expect my order but they never would do that with me and there is no excuse for that. With computers today they do in my opinion, have the info but choose not to give it out. Wonder why? They don’t communicate on a professional level or on a regular basis. If they are behind they should let their customers know out of courtesy, respect, and being transparent and up front. I began to think I was getting scammed. As a first time customer I don’t feel like I was treated with professionalism. PS-- By the way, I don’t trust all the good reviews. All the bad reviews I can completely identify with since many of them had very much the same problem I had with them. There seems to be a pattern. Not good for a precious metals dealer.

    I have purchased gold and silver many times between 2016-2019 and never had a single issue. They were my go to place. Recently got back into buying and placed an order months ago and have been waiting since. Received one short email response to my inquiries that did not answer my question or give me any estimate on delivery. Definitely will not be returning as a customer and just hope I can just get a refund at this point. Stay away!

    I ordered 20 rounds on December 20, 2023. Supposedly, the rounds were in stock. I've ordered from them in the past without incident. I am both dissappointed and disturbed by what I'm reading. They are setting themselves up for a class action lawsuit for false advertising.

    I ordered (20) silver rounds on 28Oct2023. My check arrived 03Nov2023. There is a (10) day hold before shipment, per the companys website. I would have expected my coins to ship around the 17Nov2023. It is now 16Dec2023 and I still do not have any idea when my coins will ship. I called a couple times, yet I get the same response: they are so busy fulfilling orders. I now just want my money back!

    Gainesville Coins is not a very ethical coin dealer. They will not ship precious metal when you purchase at lower cost, and then metal prices rise during the order process! They push deliveries out many months hoping you cancel. Bought gold coins on Sept 29, 2023 at $1911 per coin, now at Dec 1st 2023 spot price $2066 per coin, still no scheduled delivery!! A $155 loss, while they held on to my money since Sept 29!

    I placed an order on 9/26/23 in the amount of $5,929.75 for three 1oz gold bars. The check was received on 9/29/23 and cleared my bank on 10/2/23. I also placed and order on 10/18/23 in the amount of $140.05 for 5 1oz silver rounds. The check was received on 10/20/23 and cleared my bank on 10/24/23. I called the company 3 weeks after check cleared and was advised it could take 5 weeks for delivery. As of 11/27/23, which is 8 weeks from the day check cleared, the order has not been sent and doesn't even show invoiced. I called on 11/27/23 first thing in am & after a 30 min wait, I spoke with ****** who advised it was a long time and he would call by 4pm. I asked for ext and advise I would call first thing next day if he hadn't called me. No callback received, so I called on 11/28/23 in am & the ext was to someone else. I called back mainline & after over 30 min went to answering machine. I called later in the day, a lady answered, after giving order # and started to explain, she hung up. I sent an email on their website and via my regular email it came back. I called back & left a message to the ext # given by ****** which is for a *****. I requested an email or phone call to get some kind of update. No email or call back. I decided to try another email this morning 11/29/23. It occurred to me to check the BBB only to find out that there are many other people having the same issue. So I am adding my review. I have been an existing customer for a number of years with this company. I am concerned as this is a lot of money to be held for 8 weeks with no update or delivery. The items were all in stock when I placed my order so don't understand the delay. Not sure what other way to get this issue resolved. I placed an order with a different company and received the coins within 2 weeks.

    Placed a large order for silver coins 1st week in oct. no response to emails,repeatedly on hold with no answer. when I finally reached a live person,was told my order might be here in 10 days.Poor customer service!!

    They Received my wire for the coins I purchased on September 13, 2023. Today is November 8, 2023. No sign of the coins I ordered and not able to reach them by phone.

    I ordered 200 ounces of silver rounds on 10/2/2023, this was my first order from Gainsville Coins. I have called and emailed several times with this company. They are responsive to emails but do not always answer the phone. They state processing times can go out to 5 weeks which is ****** unusual in this industry. In fact I ordered the exact same order and a seperate order for 100oz silver bars from SD Bullion and received both order a week after I placed the initial order all durring my Gainsville Coins "processing time". In speaking to a representitive from Gainsville Coins I was told thet they are still processing my order and could not give an estimate of when it will ship. I am now past the six week **** and still waiting. As a desired resolution, I want my silver delivered and not a refund. The current value of the silver exceed what I would get by a refund....
