  On September 18, 2023 they cashed my check for $4,065.61 for two American Eagle gold coins. It is now Nov. 8 and I have not received the coins after numerous contacts with them about my order.They have made a sorts of excuses for the delay. It looks like a Ponzi scheme to me.

  I’ve been buying coins and bullion from Gainesville Coins for about 15 years. They have always come through just as ordered and their prices are the lowest. All these years Nate always answers the phone and is very courteous and professional. The delays started with Covid and I don’t know if it’s a supply issue, but believe it’s more likely a staffing issue (not sure). If you need your coins quickly, if you trade or sell them often, you should probably bring your business elsewhere. In my case, I hope I never have to sell these coins or bullion and can one day pass them on to my grandchildren. It’s a safety plan, only for an economic meltdown. When one considers the commission charged when buying, and again if selling, it doesn’t make sense unless you’re an expert and trader. So if you want the lowest price, relax and GC will get to your order in time and you have your back up plan in place (you could also break up you orders into smaller chunks and order more frequently if you’re worried).

  I purchased coins off them and sold them back years later. I shipped back 3 tubes of coins and they only credited me for 2! When I called numerous times to question this, I was waiting for 10+ minutes and was either disconnected or routed to an answering machine where I left numerous messages, in which no one ever returned my call. I went back and checked the UPS slip and the weight of the package is supportive of 3 tubes. This company has stolen from me and is unresponsive!

  Placed my order for 20 ****** on 8/23/2023 and followed up with the wire transfer two days later which was acknowledged received. I call to check on delivery twice at 7 weeks and was told I was 10th in line, called again and was told I was 5th in line and they upgraded my shipping to *** Ground. It is now 10/30, no delivery notification yet, and now they don't even answer the phone.I am getting ready to engage a ******* lawyer to determine what my options are.

  Ordered silver rounds on 9/9/23. Have called 7 times to check on my order. Was told every time that there is a big backlog on orders but it should be processed soon. I ask does "soon" mean 2 Weeks, 2 months, 2 years? Cannot get a straight answer. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will continue to file a complaint once a week until problem is resolved. Do not, I repeat, do not do do business with this company!!!

  I ordered 3 monster boxes of ASE. Paid with wire transfer.Rec'd 1st box after 48 days Rec'd 2nd box after 54 days Rec'd 3rd box after 77 days.I felt pretty sure I was getting the "run around" but was patient and they fulfilled my order.I was pretty nervous the whole time.This was my first time to order anything like this over the internet. Their premium over spot seemed lowest of the ones I tracked but not sure it's worth the fear I had the whole time.I don't know if they were having a hard time getting the items from the supplier due to market demand.I hope this isn't a industry trend.

  I placed my online order almost six weeks ago and funds came out of my account within 3 days of mailing my check. It's been 5 weeks since they got my money but they still can't give me a shipping date. When you call each employee gives you a different story about why they are behind in shipping. Shipping manager seems to only reply with please be patient emails.I would not recommend these folks to save $1 per oz of silver when other online companies are shipping in 2 weeks after receiving your payment.

  I placed an order for 200oz of sliver on 09/11/2023 and after my check cleared all I get from them is my order is in line to be filled. At one time I was told it would be shipped out this week or at the latest next week, that was 3 weeks age and still no idea on when I will receive my order. Every time I call it is the same old story your order is in line and we can't tell when it will be shipped.STAY AWAY from Gainesville Coins

  I'll add my story to the list of disappointed customers.I placed my order on August 30th. Check cleared Sept 8th I was told "shipping will be in 7 to 10 days".Told again on Sept 26 "it will ship in the next **** days".Told on Oct 12th, "it will ship next week".Today is Oct 24th. All I hear are crickets. Fortunately, mine is only for a few hundred dollars.I guess all I can do is wait forever and see if my order ever shows up.

  Ordered gold coins 8/31/23, called them the first part of October and told it would be shipped around the 20th. Was told we would get an email notification of the shipping date. Still have no coins.
