  scam cancelled my move within the 72 hour window. they owe me $800 refund everytime i call they hang up on me. this has been going on for weeks

  The movers were very careful with our belongings, worked tirelessly in the hot weather, and were very careful in our new home.

  Never use 3 Brothers Moving and Storage. Unbeknownst to me, they gave me a low estimate and a different moving company moved my stuff and increased the cost by 89%! I am 66, live on a fixed income, and had pared back my stuff to next to nothing, and this was only an 8-mile move. I was assured by my initial estimate by 3 Brothers that my move would not exceed $2,000 even if I doubled the number of boxes, which I did not. Lo and behold, another moving company moved my stuff and said they wouldn't do it (and my lease had ended) unless I paid $3,225, alleging I had almost twice the cubic feet as on the estimate. So, my estimate was under so that 3 Brothers could get a hefty sum, and then the other moving company had me at whatever square footage they could come up with - initially they said the price should be close to the estimate, but they gave the final price after everything was physically moved and they had my stuff and I had to be out of my apartment, so what could I do? Lessons: 1. Do not use 3 Brothers Moving & Storage, 2. Find reputable movers who you deal with the entire process from getting the estimate to the move out and move in, 3. Have three potential movers come out and give estimated cubic feet, if possible, and 4. Ask about additional separate fees such as for gas (15% of total?) and "supplies."

  I had a horrible experience with this company. They changed their quote to me 3 different times. Then, when over $2000 of my items were damaged they never reimburse me despite their insurance agreeing they owed me over $200 for damages of my items. Horrible organization. Stay away from them.

  I had the same experience as other reviewers. Once they give you a quote and take your money, the salesman doesn't return your calls or emails about any concerns you may have. They just set you up and someone else actually moves you and doubles the price. You are pretty much stuck.

  I've also been scammed by these guys. Although the move itself was successful and the actual guys doing the moving were great (because they subcontracted 3 levels down), the company overcharged me by $4k on the day of move, so I had no other choice but to pay. My initial estimate was $2545, and then 3 days before the move, when I had counted all my boxes, had my furniture itemized, and even measured all boxes and furniture down to the half inch, and gave them this list by email and phone, they gave me an updated estimate of $5550 which is a bit overpriced but still within reasonable range, and then on the day of the move, shot up to $9111. This is outrageous. By the way, the amount of stuff we had was a 1 bedroom apartment, a larger one than most, so you could say a small 2 bedroom apartment. I initially estimated for a 3 bedroom just to be sure. Anyway, do not use them.

  YOU ARE A HORRIBLE COMPANY. ************************* THE ASSOCIATE WHO HELPED UP IS A DISGRACE! NO ONE SAID IT YOU ARE A BROKER DEALER AND ONLY PARTNER ** WITH A THIRD PARTY. WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE ONE ***** AND DO NOT WORRY IF ITS A FEW ITEMS EXTRA IT WILL NOT COST EXTRA. WE WERE ALSO TOLD WE WOULD RECEIVE A CALL 3 DAYS BEFORE MOVE TO CONFIRM ITEMS LISTED AND NEVER GOT A CALL. WHEN THE ***** CAME WE FOUND OUT IT WAS THIRD PARTY AND THE ***** WAS GOING TO BE $2,700 MORE THAN WHAT WAS ORIGINALLY THOUGHT. WHEN WE CALLED ************************* TO HIS DIRECT LINE AND EXPLAINED TO HIM THE ISSUE HE IMMEDIATELY SAID HOLD ON AND TRANSFERED US TO AN UNASWERED LINE. HE REJECTED AND IGNORED ALL CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES FROM US THEREAFTER. WE WERE THEN TOLD TAKE THE ***** OR LEAVE IT. WE WERE ALSO THREATEND THAT OUR DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE RETURNED. THIS WAS NOT A CLOSE MOVE. IT WAS FROM NY TO *****. IT WAS EITHER COME OUT OF POCKET THOUSANDS MORE OR CANCEL THE MOVE, ****, NEW APARTMENT EVERYTHING! HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY UP. UNITED PRO *****S FROM ** WHO CAME TO DO THE MOVE EXPLAINED THIS IS A CONSTANT ISSUE FOR THEM. THEY WERE A BIG HELP AND FELT BAD AND HAD TO REWORK PRICING WITH US. PLEASE DO NOT USE 3 BROTHERS MOVING AND STORAGE FOR ANYTHING.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they are a scammer!!! They will quote you a good price, ask for a deposit, you pay the deposit then they up the price to something you can't afford and keep your deposit.STAY AWAY FROPM THEM OR YOU WILL GET BURND!!!
