    I have been a Total Wireless customer for five years. Service and price has been fine until now. I called before my trip to *********** to add international calling plan to my phone. I was told which plan was needed, they assured me it would work in ****** and I was assured I could go back to my current plan upon my return. They switched my plan over the phone.I cross into ****** and had no service. After several calls to technical support, I was told that the international calling plan only works in *************** and not on Baja. I was then going to add a Mexican sim card, but was told my phone was locked and could not be unlocked. So, I was without my phone the whole trip-two months!Upon my return, I call customer service asking for either 1) a full refund for the two months I had no use of my phone, plus a refund of difference between plans on my current bill. 2) refund on the difference of both plans. I was told that I wasn't on the correct international calling plan-which they chose and changed for me! Iwas given a refund on one month and that was it!I also wanted to be put back on my previous plan-which I was told I could do, to find out that plan is no longer available, and the only option is for new plan that is $10 more.I asked for a retention specialist, which they don't have.I am upset with this terrible customer service and I will be changing to another service provider. The customer *********** was very nice - just doing what he was told he could do.Shape up Total Wireless!

    I'm highly disgusted with this company. I would not ever suggest to anyone to use this company. There customer service is the most God awful and rude I have ever encounter!!! They will tell you one thing and turn around and say they can't do that. They will push you to get upset with them and when that happens they'll just cut your service off bc you get upset bc of their lies. This company needs to be investigated at least there customer service team. If I could I would give this company not even a 0 for satisfaction. Something needs to be done with their customer service as well as their supervisors. They most definitely aren't trained properly and they aren't shy at telling you a flat out NO that they won't transfer you to another department. So don't even entertain the idea of getting a phone with this company. I promise you it will be nothing but a huge headache!!!! I definitely DO NOT recommend this company to anyone....not even my dog!!!

    Tried switching to total wireless Worst experience ever They will not honor the discounted phones However I can pay full price After spending 3 hours and speaking with 3 agents and a chat bot I was told they have technical difficultywith their website ( no discounted phones available even though still listed on website) I was told to check back in a week therre tying to resolve issues This is a total scam!!!!!!!Avoid them!!!!!!{

    Verizon Wireless is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire 65 years. Every call to customer service has been a nightmare trying to get someone who can speak clear enough English to understand. My wife, my son and I used these clowns for 6 years with only minor issues. My son bought a new phone at ******* and then he called Verizon and (after almost 2 hours) got it activated. The phone kept shutting down, it turned out to be defective so my son returned it to ******* for another phone. When he called Verizon Wireless to activate the second phone, they could not locate his account. We could still log in and see everything about our account yet they could not find his account. They could not even find the automatically deducted payment they had taken for his line 4 days earlier, even when I gave them the transaction number from their own website. After 6 hours on the phone, the lady suggested that I call my bank and have them do a "claim back" on the payment, then come and start a new account. I informed her that if I set up a new account, it would certainly not be with Verizon. Banks do not do "claim backs", you can dispute a charge, so I did that and Verizon manipulated the data so I could not get refunded. I hope they spent that money wisely because it's the last of my money Verizon will ever see.

    It was a decently cheap phone plan. There are others now that are on-par with Total after Verizon bought them. Just had my legacy plan deactivated with no real warning aside from the usual ************* is about to end" messages that Total sends out every month, on a day I was supposed to have a phone interview, so that's great. (I have an automatic renewal. They have sent out the "Service ending" texts each month before, so I didn't worry too much about it since I figured the bill would be automatically paid. Didn't think this time they were referring to actually ending the Legacy plan.)Honestly, go with some other companies. Their customer service is generally not that good. Their website is also pretty bad, both before and after Verizon bought them. It's both a buggy mess and confusing. The only reason they get two stars is because the service works, but that's about it.

    Terrible experience purchasing a phone that they could not activate. I've attempted 3 times to return to it them, but each time customer service fails to send a return label or authorized the return. So far, I have 4 hours of my time spent just trying to activate my phone and then return it when they couldn't activate it.

    The ABSOLUTE MOST MISERABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. It's seemingly a great price, however I'd sooner use a homing pigeon to send messages than fall in this trap again. Don't do it! Hefty punishment fees if you attempt to void your contact. Im fully convinced after 3 hours I can do their job better than them. After calling for a basic phone issue. Never. Again. Don't do it!

    They sold my wife a phone we bought a $50 card and then we bought two $10 data cards and we couldn't put the minutes on the phone not sure why so we called total by Verizon they put the cards on the phone from their computer and activated the phone number so my wife went home charge the phone woke up the next morning the phone screen was jumping it was flickering powering on and off she lost all her information pictures phone numbers everything she had put in it so it was a defective device and we took the phone and phone cards back to Dollar general the lady told us that she would try to run it she said she was going to try the cards first and it denied her returning our money so she tried to return the phone it let her defect the phone out so she give us $31 back but proceeded to tell us that we needed to go to where we bought the card at another Dollar general to get our money so we went there the lady says that it's not possible get a hold of total by Verizon so we get a hold of them three or four times we got in contact with a few people they were rude they were very unprofessional denied us conversation with the customer service representative said that they didn't have to make contact with them and us refuse to give us their full name we still have the receipts for this purchase we still have the information on the phone we have everything that we needed to get our money back and still have tried days later to get our money back and still have it my wife only had the phone active online for one day and she might have had the phone for 3 days so there's no way that we should been denied our money I would like something to be done for these people to learn that they cannot treat hard-working citizens of ***************** like this they have to know that we have rights to I work hard for my money and I don't feel like just giving it to them for a defected piece of c*** phone so if you could please try to help us we've rented out multiple times with nothing done

    Total scam is what there name should be. Returned my $1200 phone under warranty and they kept it and sent me a $200 phone and said that's all I get. So frustrating. Run around every time I call. Minimum 45 min conversation and you get no where. Disgusting that they can get away with this!!!

    I worked remodeling n painting most of these stores and haven't yet received any compensation they hired me in the thought tht I was an illegal looking for work which ended up being wrong I hired a lawyer now his working on my case, there are dozens of undocumented workers working at these store being underpaid and it's unfair to them, the way they treated me mistakenly thinking that I was undocumented is awful to human rights and I demand my pay for my work I refused to be used and abused by such a big corporation
