      Bad company due to the following: 1. no call backs when they say. i have to call them back. 2. language barrier on customer service reps. we need more english speaking reps. 3. hang up on me when i call for help. 4. t-mobile sim cards not supported by them anymore due to them using the verizon network. byop sim kits and kyop sim card kits aren't compatible so i needed a tracfone sim card powered by verizon and it should be here 1-3 days. i have been a customer since october 2022 and now it's feb. of 2023 and noting but pure hell. if the new sim card does not work i'm switching to truconnect. i'm from ky.

      ********** Behavior, I had to purchase 2 Cell Phones, 1st one was a Smart Phone, the old phone my 85 yr Mother had died, she was unable to use the Smart Cell, so I ended Ordering a Flip Phone and transfer to number again from the Smart Phone back to the Flip Phone. Before I placed both orders, was guarantee, if the 1st phone will not work for her, I will be able to unlock the cell and keep it for my self. After, I call them to unlock the phone, they refused and was told it needs 60 days of service (she's been with SafeLink for 10 yrs) and I will have to purchase another number and give them more money, they refused to unlock the phone, she had it for less then a week. To make a sale are willing to lie (fraud), then obligate you to give them more money, offered me to return the other phone but refused to email any agreement about the return, so I will have to return the cell phone blind, I just lost $100.00 and the trouble to drive and do a return, not even a courtesy return label was willing to offer. For CSR, may not be their fault but seems it got to a point where there's lots of indifference from their side. Trackfone/SafeLink are in contract with Sate/ GOV to assist the elders and those in need but Corporate are bulling their way and milking GOV, pure **********.

      Service is spotty at best, bought a new tcl20 a few months ago in order to have a nicer phone it only works with their service. Today my phone was randomly not working called in and was told they shut my phone off because they are switching cellular towers and my phone will no longer work on their service! I now have no working phone and a 200$ paperweight I can't use. I'm switching providers.

      It is absolutely unbelievable this company is not being investigated for fraud, abuse, mismanagement and the list can go on.I had a agent deactivate my phone service and terminate my government approved benefits because I wanted her name and I'd number to file a complaint. This was back in October 2022 to this day I'm still having NO accountability and I with no doubt believe this woman who has access to ALL my personal information like SS# , DOB, ADDESS AND access to my phone services continues to shut my services of randomly!!! Mad and violated is an understatement.There is NO excuse for these actions and they should be a crime !!! People who are disabled, on SSI , or just poor should not be subjected to this ABUSE, neglegent and malicious practice in this company !!! I've never liked this customer service and I do anything and everything to AVOID calling for anything. The *** needs to be held accountable for the behavior of his employees. Enough complaints ALL the same and not 1 person does anything to stop this company. I do not trust my personal information isn't being stolen by strangers who do not understand or speak enough English to do their JOB and now act malicious !!! This company needs to be investigated by the *** and The ************* Attorney general's office. I will be filing complaints to both !! BBB you have the ability to help and I'd suggest you do so !!!!

      customer service is terrible i will never in my life order from safelink. i tried to enroll and was told someone enrolled to safelink in my name they would not cancel the order for me and they hung up in my face everytime i called my next step is to go down there and raise complete h***

      THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! I SPENT MORE TIME ON THE ***** GETTING NOTHING DONE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS ARE WORTHLESS. READING THE SCRIPT IN FRONT OF THEM INSTEAD OF TRYING TO HELP YOU. IVE WASTED SO MUCH OF MY PERSONAL TIME WITHOUT THIS *****. MISSED CALLS, TEXTS APPOINTMENTS DUE TO THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY.FOR AS MANY TIMES I HAVE TALKED TO THESE PEOPLE, THE SAME FREAKIN PROBLEM. I AM ON THE GOVERNMENT PROGRAM AND YET MY ***** GETS CUT OFF BECAUSE THEY INSIST THAT I ON A PLAN. GOVERNMENT PROGRAM, FREE. MY ***** IS OFF NOW AND MY MINUTES SHOULD BE PUT ON MY ACCOUNT OH BETWEEN 1 TO 12 HOURS. REALLY. WHICH MEANS THAT I WILL BE SPENDING MY WEEKEND TRYING TO GET MY ***** BACK ON. WORSE COMPANY EVER!!! THE INCONVENIENCE THIS HAS BROUGHT TO MY LIFE. STAY AWAY FROM SAFELINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Apparently, these people at SafeLink have to be Totally Based out of the country. It would take Paragraphs to go into, literally, someone, who, without question, was sincerely the actual dumbest person I have ever met, or talked to, in 70 YRS. Even challenged peeps I've spoken too haven't been that historically lame. She was so Lame that she could not even authenticate, after so many attempts I was seeing purple. Terrible accent (which usually I'm pretty good at figuring out), and then speaking all fast and stupid.Example:1. I give her my cell phone # (which doesn't work obviously: no service for 6 mos) I use a home phone to call them. a. She sends 6 texts to my cell; none of which go thru, right?I then ask her to tell me the number I gave her regarding the # cell to make sure she's gotten it correct after many attempts. She says she can't because of "Security".(But, I already GAVE you the number!! How does that violate security???) b. She wants me to give her phone numbers of the last couple of people I've called in the last 2 months. I tell her I haven't called ANYONE; my cell phone has no service for 6 mos.2. She sends emails to my email service. Of course, THEY don't go thru either. Big surprise.3. She then wants my credit card numbers of my last purchase there. I told her I have never USED my ccs to purchase anything from them AND what purpose does a **************** have with my CCs anyway?? I demanded, "are you telling me you HAVE my ccs on File!?" She said they didn't.So, I thundered, "then WHY DO YOU WANT MY CC INFO???!!4. And, finally, at the middle of this, she goes, "Well, then give me your Security code and we'll be done." Which I did. She said it was the right one. THEN KEEPS ASKING FOR MORE SECURITY INFO.SO, this looks like a Chinese Communist Scam if ever there was one. 5. I asked for her name or badge number. I asked to speak to a manager. No. No. No.Finally, I just had to hang up because I was histrionic.

      SafeLink is wasting the government’s money …. Was on the phone for at least two hours total about my Safelink Phone which will NOT allow me to make a Phone Call! The Government needs to find another service for the elderly. It was a Huge Waste of my time every time I called for Help!

      The service is trash since I signed up with Safelink and never been satisfied and I have to call the customer service once a month to discuss my Data issues, these busters don’t even respond to the customers calls I don’t know why? And even if they respond to your calls this will take at less one hour or more , I never gonna go back to get service again with these stupid workers that they don’t even know how to fix the issues , my last time whit them when they just cut my service without any further notice witch make me wonder if this service has even a manager to control those stupid busters who always don’t do the right work, guys please don’t waste your time and sign up with Safelink service is trash , be care full , ( one star don’t deserve it)

      Terrible customer service for customers with disabilities. I am a disabled senior citizen and received a replacement phone from Safelink when they were putting my old phone out of service. Unfortunately I couldn't hold the new one in my functional hand (it's a large touch screen replacing a smaller keypad entry device). I also couldn't get the phone to dial out after calling customer service to verify activation, and wonder if it wasn't actually connected to the carrier after all.
      My family and I called Safelink customer service back multiple times on multiple days over a month period to try to swap for a different phone, but they kept hanging up when called back. On the calls we could get through, customer service was consistently rude, uncaring, and dismissive of my needs. The one exception was a rep named Jessa who truly tried to help. Unfortunately I was never able to get the emergency phone service I needed from Safelink.
