      SafeLink is a joke, got my new phone everything worked great a couple days. Then phone automatically rebooted, updated came back on. No data, called customer service about 10 times , followed there trouble shoot issues, no data 2 weeks now and no data. My phone did stop receiving calls or making calls as well. Called customer service from another phone. Nothing but a big run around. Ready to cancel these clowns!!!!!

      I've had SafeLink for sometime now I'm on disability and with all the bills it just adds up. So I went with SafeLink. It was going well till they shut me off saying that I couldn't be on my phone 24/7 I have searched and searched there websites and ****** and there Is nothing regarding that. All it says is you is required to use your phone,data, and or text once a month to keep your service. Now if I'm wrong I have not spotted where it says I can not use it the way I have been. So I have Drs coming up and so with all of this I had to pay out for something I needed but really didn't have to get a new phone and number.

      Safelink is the worst company to deal with and I don't even have my service activated yet. The customer service is so shabby I can't understand why they don't train them better. I have been without a phone for over a week, they switched my benefits before they even sent out a sim card. They wouldn't even send me one of the free phones their site said you get with new service (they were all out of them) so I get a sim card to go in my old phone. Because they switched me over before I can activate my new service my old company won't let me port my phone, so on top of all this now I have to go through the hassle of changing my phone with anyone I deal with. I explained to them that I'm on Hospice and had to have a phone they need to expedite, they wouldn't do that either. I hope the service is better than the customer service, but I don't have high hopes for that.

      Straight talk **** link is a waist of time having they give you a whopping 350 minutes of talk time They promise one thing but give another then when you call them to try to fix the issue or get more time added they act like your bothering them and give you no information.If you do pay for time they will still deactivate your phone.Save yourself the pain and steer clear of this company they are being paid my the government and your health means nothing to them.I wouldn't give them a single star the customer service is is disrespectful and your just a dollar in their pocket.After a year of the same thing I have figured out there not worth the paper written on and our government should strip the money their being paid away. And I am reporting their lack of services to the government And having them looked into.I've had better service from a pig pin.STAY AWAY FROM STRAIGHT TALK SAFE LINK.THANKS ANOTHER ISSUE WITH THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF NO ENGLISH SPEAKING MORONS SEEM TO ANSWER THE ******

      Many years ago it was a good company. Now it is horrible. I was in the lifeline program and one month I needed to add more data. Worst idea ever because after adding extra data with my own money they shut me off from the lifeline program. I guess they saw I was able to fund my account with my own money and they wanted to take advantage and probably get paid by the government as well as have me pay so they can get extra money. I kept calling customer service which is outsourced in *************** and the ********* would lie for Safelink and would always give me the runaround and give false promises and lies abut the service being turned on in a week but then a week would go by and nothing. I was without service as I did not pay out of my own pocket. I refused to give in. I got a different provider because of this. Do not sign up with Safelink!

      I have now been without a phone for 13 days. I signed up for SafeLink and they immediately had my other phone shut off. Then I had to wait to get the phone from them. When I got the phone from them in order to keep my phone # I've had for 50 yrs I had to then call my previous carrier (who they cancelled) and have them reconnect my old phone so they could port the #. Because they had me do that they said I had 2 carriers so they shut off my phone and told me I needed to reapply which I did. Then when I called to see when I would have a phone again they said I was approved but I had to wait 7-10 days again because it's a new service!! So I will be without a phone for about a month because of there incompetence!

      SafeLink refuses to transfer my ACP back Spectrum. I have emailed and called numerous times, still won't transfer it! Constant run around. I agree this is a sh*tty company. Will never do business with them again!

      I am new to Safelink with Lifeline. Horrible experience so far and the phone has only been activated for 2 weeks (took over 1 month to get my phone activated). Same experience as the majority of reviews: So far my phone just deactivates with no warning. **************** is a joke. A rep will claim to fix it, then it works for a few days until it doesn't.Disgraceful!I am a 72 year old woman who lives alone and this bad service makes me feel scared and insecure!

      Hello. I just got a Safelink replacement phone with no charger included. It isn't the same phone I had so I need to buy one, at least that is what they told me. I don't see where this is helpful to disabled, elderly, and poor people. Please look into this BBB. It sounds like a little scammy.
