  Lennar builds a poor quality house, cutting every corner. They do not stand behind their work and just claim it is all to code. Own a house that sounds like a ticking time bomb every time water heater kicks in, furnace kicks in, etc. They just say it is all to code and nothing they can do for you. Lion at model and it is built one way and then they cut corners on actual build, exposing pipes, etc that are eye sores and not shown that way on the model. Again, decline to do anything. Get your money and they are done with you. Run to another builder

  I bought a home on cypress park estates in *********** **. We are lot 12. The home is extremely poorly built. The house is falling apart being a new home. The tile is cracking the grout is cracking, painting was horrible, there are holes in the grout and our sod and trees have been dead for 8 months with no help from lennar. ********** foundation is crooked. Our driveway is stained. Never buy a home from this builder they do not care once you sign and give your money.

  My fiance and i moved in this past december. There have been a NUMBER of flaws with our property, which we have asked multiple times, over and over again to have fixed. Our biggest complaint is now its becoming a health issue. Our backyard has been sopping wet in the far back area since the day we moved in. There is stagnant water there, 24 hours a day for almost 3 months now. THREE MONTHS. We have complained multiple times to have the issue addressed, to multiple different people through both phone calls and emails. There is green algae growing in this wet area, very heavily and both of our trees located in that area are BEYOND dead. No life to them whatsoever. We have a dog that has now become sick with parasites TWICE since moving in, and we do not even let him go within 10 feet of this area, so its clear that it is creeping up our backyard. We have had someone come out and assess the issue, yet, again, nothing has been done regardless of how many times we have asked for an update with no response. Even the person who came to assess commented on how awful the smell is from the standing water. I am heavily pregnant and this is becoming a complete health hazard at this point.

  Wow. Buyers beware: just because Lennar is unethical doesn’t mean they can’t get away with it legally. Lennar at Asher Pointe in Arizona tried to force us to pay $60k over appraised value on their home, close 2 months earlier than what was in the sales agreement, and force us to close even though we didn’t qualify for the loan with our current home mortgage. And they’re keeping our $15k earnest money deposit. My family signed a sales agreement and 2 weeks later Lennar pulled in our close date by 2 full months! We needed time to either rent or sell our current home, Lennar didn’t care. We received daily emails and calls to upload a rental agreement and deposit check on our current home or else Lennar Mortgage threatened to cancel our contract. Then someone told us that we should get our own appraisal on the new home, which we did, and it came back $60,000 lower than the sales price! Lennar wasn’t willing to negotiate at all on the price of the home. In fact, the person who I finally spoke with laughed at us and was unbelievably disrespectful. I wish I had read some of their other reviews and complaints on Better Business Bureau before signing that contract and giving them $15k.

  Garbage builder.Had to have my upstairs AC serviced 5-6 times in last year and half because it doesnt work properly. At closing inspection they were informed it was not working at the level it should. They said it is at the bottom base line and wont fix it!How you going to sell a brand new home with faulty appliances- ****!!!

  Visited the parc in Marlboro three times with showroom locked stating open!!! No additional signage. The last time a gentleman opened door n said we are closed n shut door. Called main number n was told they are closed because phase 1 sold out. Asked why there was no signage or update on website n got no reasonable reply. Poor customer service we.

  Stay away from Lennar. The warranty process is painful. They take forever to get back to you on anything. I'm talking weeks. We got an inspection at the 11 month ***** There was some damage to the roof shingles. You can tell someone damaged it because they did a bad job trying to fix it. We believe it was from the solar panel installation which Lennar requires. However, customer service says it's our solar company and we need to contact them. Wait a minute. You choose the solar company, not us. Are trees in the backyard are dead and have been dead since we moved in. Again, customer service says they are fine. ******************** will not fix anything and plans to run out the clock on the warranty. We will never buy a Lennar built home again.

  home is okay. since my subdivision is new, the board for association is still with lennar and the set of rules that board made/has are barbaric and they denied my requests to install solar and sprinkler systems on my home. doesn't seem fair to deny with a reason saying once the board is handed over to the members a new request can be made. wish i lived in 1980's with their stupid rules.

  Horrible Company and people running it. They do not care about their customers, employees or trade partners. If you are in the market for a new home, I would recommend looking elsewhere, unless you like shoddy, overpriced homes with the cheapest materials used possible. Good luck if you have any warranty items , they will give you the run around and always have a reason for not preforming. STAY AWAY!!

  Lennar has been a nightmare. They had our driveways painted red which was fire code suppose ably but come to find out if was not that case we just needed signs to come to code and the curbs were overkill by Lennar. Now they want a directory monument to make our beautiful neighborhood to look like an apartment complex. They lied about what the community will look like and left out these details and the future easement details. *********** is not very well built either. The stucco is starting to crack. They did not seal my toilet in my master correctly. The master shower has rust and this is only 2 years old. THE CARPET IS UGLY and is new they did not allow us to place wood at our own cost. The tile in the master bathroom was crooked and thank GOD because when they took out the toilet to replace the tile MOLD was found and the contractors took forever to come and fix that MESS. The tiles throughout my home was not sealed and after numerous fights with Lennar they did this but STAY AWAY. They take short cuts and will come back a fulfill stuff they left out during sales.
