      Horrible customer service. Ordered a phone, never got an email confirmation but had a pending charge on credit card. Called customer service the next day and was told my order was not in system. Told them my card has a pending charge from them. Still said not in system. OK, let me order another one. Ordered another one and next day got confirmation for 2 orders of the same phone. Called CS and was told to send back at my expense. Told them it wasn't my fault they sent two phones, I should not have to pay return postage. They wouldn't budge. My wife, 25 years CS experience had to spend over an hour on the phone to get them to pay return postage. Waited more than the 30 days we were told for the refund to appear on CC. Never got a refund. My wife tried to get the refund through Tracfone CS for over 2 hours, getting the run around from several different CS Reps. ***** being hung up on multiple times, disputed charge through CC company. Now we're awaiting for the refund through CC company.

      I have been a tracfone customer for 15 years and never had a problem. Now that ******* has taken over there customer service has been terrible. I ordered a new phone from them. Their website said 1-3 days shipping. It has been over a week and it still has not shipped. I asked to cancel the order because I was charged for a phone and it was never mailed. They said No. They said I have to wait for corporate to contact me. They refused to refund my money. I just want to buy a phone. Why do they make it so difficuly to do business with them? I don't understand why they won"t mail the phone I purchased.

      They are an unethical company. When I had to get a new phone I had a lot of data on my balance, but when the I got the new phone they removed all of the data. I was on the phone with them for 3-4 hours, then they returned a portion of it. I had to threaten to leave. I am now trying to leave tracfone, and they will not release my number to port it over to my new carrier.

      TRACFONE is the worst! I have been calling for 7 days trying to get my phone working. I have been on the phone for over 6 hours to date. 2 days ago a rep removed all my data, talk n text which I had over 2.9 gb data, **** talk and **** text. This company doesn't know how to be a reliable phone company, unexcusable customer service and will be replacing this POS phone service. BEWARE CONSUMERS!

      Since ******* took over Tracfone customer service is in the toilet. I decided to upgrade my phone. I went to their website and purchased a new Moto G 5G stylus. It was a nice phone, but within the first week gave me a camera error. I called them and went through 3 levels of technical support only to be told the phone was defective and would need to be replaced. I was assured by tech support that a new phone would be shipped and that I could retain/use this phone until I received replacement.That didn't happen.I got an email informing me of a shipment. I received, instead of a replacement phone, an envelope in which to return the new phone. Tracfone expected me, a disabled person, to live without a phone for a minimum of 3 weeks until a replacement phone could be sent. After a nightmare bunch of phone calls with customer service (using the term loosely) I agreed to return the phone for a REFUND with the plan to use up my existing credit and switch companies, because Tracfone is terrible now. I returned the phone and reactivated my old phone. I waited 10 days for the refund, which never came, then placed the charge in dispute with my credit card company, who, after learning what happened, credited my account immediately.Fast forward 40 days. I get an email from tracfone informing me, with the returned phone ticket # that I should expect a shipment from them. They sent a "replacement". They replaced my BRAND NEW 5G phone ($220) with a REFURBISHED 4G MOTO G STYLUS ($70). I called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do, that she could not authorize a refund, and I should just activate this phone. I told her that I had placed it in dispute with my credit card company and had also informed them of the shenanigans going on today. Basically, Tracfone expected me to accept an inferior replacement with no refund whatsoever.Leaving this company as soon as my data runs out. Run away!

      Purchased phone from Tracfone website . Phone keeps shutting down and restarting after several phone calls to Tracphone and factory reset it is still doing the same thing. Going to just take a loss on cost of phone and go elsewhere.Stay away from the phones they sell it was not a refurbished phone. Highly recommend you go elsewhere very dissatisfied customer after approx 3 years.

      Bad business bought a 5G TracFone had to have a replace because they didn't have it they sent me what they had which was a 4G a cheaper phone and I still got to pay for this phone the 5G which I don't have supposedly it's in the warehouse and they can't take the 4G back and send me my 5G back customer service stink if I was anybody I would not buy another phone from TracFone terrible they are terrible

      I have had tracfone service for at least ten years and been happy with it. I have a smartphone and live alone, and it is the best deal for me. I originally saw it in a ******* ad in a magazine. With the unlimited talk and text, it is even better.In all these years, I have had No problems. About a month ago, my service quit working if I was not on wifi. I have called three times and been given all sort of things to try. Between that and ******* I tried all kind of things. It was like a switch had been thrown to turn off tracfone. Today, I called and got a guy in ***************. He was very good and patient. He tried different things and then handed me to a supervisor in *********. He changed my APN setting and everything works. I had figured out that was what was wrong but didn't know how to correct it.My only complaint is the women in *************** read from a script and are not helpful at all. I wasted a lot of time on three calls to them. If you call for service, ask for a supervisor. I think these ladies are afraid of losing their jobs, if they don't solve your problem.

      We purchased a Tracfone TCL A3. The alarm did not work. We contacted Tracfone, went through a number of troubleshooting steps and were told if those did not work we could get a replacement. However Tracfone will only send a replacement after they receive the defective phone. This is unacceptable. Also their customer service is the worst I have experienced in my life; they will not even allow a customer to speak with anyone other than the line employee who answers the phone and when they ask for feedback it is to upsell you with accessories etc. We will be purchasing phone service from another company (there are many) and giving Tracfone's defective product to a toddler for a toy as that is all it is good for. I would give negative stars if possible,

      My phone was under warranty because it was only 3 weeks old. Phone just would not turn on. I sent my phone to them with their label and the received my phone several months ago. I have the tracking info. After over 30 phone calls to customer service I got the run around, i got hung up on, and lied to. Several months later obviously they stole my phone because i sent in and never replaced it as promised. That's theft plain and simple. They obviously will not honor their warranty and that is illegal.
