      I don't know what has happened to Massey. They used to be a good company and we had good results, but about a year ago they started having quality issues with our lawn service. I complained several times and they dispatched two field managers who acknowledged the problem but neither addressed it. I then contacted a general manager who came out on three occasions to plant plugs. Unfortunately the plugs did not work so I canceled the lawn service and hired a new company. After the first application we noticed a distinct improvement. Massey then sent out a tech and applied a lawn service even after I canceled, I called them and talked to a agent who called the tech and that application was noted on the invoice as $0.00 cost. I later got a email stating I owed $72.00 for that service visit. I'm still trying to get that removed. After talking to a agent this morning, she said it was showing as a canceled service and that a general manager will call to address the issue. Although the service still shows as active on my customer account online. My experience with Massey has made me question they companies integrity and I'm shopping around for replacements for the other services I still have with them.

      I was contacted by a Massey manager who apologized for the issue. He asked for a second chance, I told him I would monitor the neighborhood homes they service and if I see improvement I would consider coming back, but only if our new provider doesn't perform well. Also, I would consider that only if it were a different technician.

      Was very unhappy with Massey Services, my lawn had weeds and bald spots therefor I called to cancel my services. A manager said he would come to my home and take care of it. He did not turn up and when I called him he said he did come to my home and discussed the problem. He finally said that he had gone to the wrong house. Wonder what they talked about. Told him to cancel my service then he said he would come with his best worker. The lawn man turned up alone. Called back and the manager said he did not say he would be here. He was very abusive and again I said to cancel services. The problem was not absolved. Next time I stopped them from spraying. I am homebound and there were times I had a sign on the lawn that it had been sprayed but I did not see anyone and my dog did not alert me which he always does. I am being harassed by the manager who knows that I have a terminal illness but I won't be bullied. It's the principal that counts. During the calls I was on speaker because I have difficulty hearing. My family heard what transpired on those calls. This a type of elderly abuse. Isn't there someone to protect us from this type of treatment? They say I owe $60.00 on work that was not performed.

      Massey ruined my yard. I have been with them since spring of 2021. I had some crab grass which was killed and had sod to replace those areas. Since then the state of my yard has gone down hill. The back yard is completely devoid of St Augustine grass and Is nothing but weeds. The front yard is now filling up with weeds. They tell me they will slowly repair it but can only get "free plugs" now and then. I don't want to wait forever. They blame it on cinch bugs but never treated my lawn appropriately. They killed my yard and I feel they should resod the entire yard. Worst company ever.

      Massey sends out a slick salesman to make you think that you're in good hands. I assure you, you are not. For the first visit which is usually very extensive. They brought out a truck with a long hose to spray whatever chemicals they are using for that initial visit. First of all I have a long backyard so I know they can't even reach all of it. But you know what's even better? I checked my cameras and they treated my neighbors lawn by mistake. But they must have realized it at the end and placed their sign in front of my yard. Lol. Each time they came out I would watch the cameras after the fact. Massey would send me some garbage report/email about how they inspected my plants and treated them with so and so chemical/fertilizer. In reality it was some guy walking around throwing stuff haphazardly without a care in the world. Even though I had major reservations from the beginning I wanted to give them a chance. After about 3 months with zero improvement I decided enough is enough. One thing that especially upset me is that I know which weeds can be treated in your yard and which ones you can't. I was having major issues with treatable weeds! So I call AND email Massey and cancel my service. And I confirmed with the office manager the next morning. Later that day I notice a Massey sign in my yard. I watch my cameras and they were on my property for 12 minutes. Boom! A $298 bill lol. What's really messed up is that they walked over to my other neighbors property and spent roughly 3 minutes and then put a sign on their property too (they do have a Massey contract). After receiving the bill I called Massey and asked them to remove it. Massey said on the contract I have to give them 30 days notice. So let me get this straight... I'm unhappy with your company but if I cancel you can come out to my property as many times as you see fit and continue to bill me within the next 30 days? People, is this a company you wanna do business with ?????? It doesn't even sound legal.

      Massey Services Pest & Termite control contacted me by phone to schedule termite inspection and control shortly before our 1 year contract expired. I declined the appointment due to unsatisfactory results on the pest control they also provided and instructed them to cancel both the pest control and termite control. Two months later I received an invoice for pest control with a "reported" service date well over one month after I cancelled with customer service. When I contacted them they stayed that in the fine print on the back of the contract that they require written cancellation. The secondary issue I reported was that I was home the entire day of their supposed services. There was no paperwork left behind and no one ever entered my property- inside or outside. It is impossible to actually perform services without being seen, so apparently they are retaliating because I cancelled their terrible services. I strongly urge anyone considering using this dishonest company to look for another option even if it initially costs more as I now have no issue with the unwanted pests that we had while Massey supposedly sprayed for pests.

      I signed up about 2 years ago - hoping to have a green front & back yard suitable for bare feet. When the back yard St. Augustine grass started drying out and dying, among green crabgrass, lush passion fruit vines all the first year, I alerted Massey - they continued to do their standard services, I assumed - but the yard got worse and worse. Recently, when I asked for a supervisor to check it, I was told it was chinch bugs-and they sprayed the entire front & back yard. We never saw any bugs - just more dead grass every day. The UF Cooperative Extension Center offered to analyze a large sample of grass from my yard. Under a microscope they saw no sign of chinch bugs. They diagnosed the problem - "Take All Root Rot" - a fungus that is too far gone to treat. And possibly Mosaic Disease. All of this was NOT recognized when it could have possibly been treated. This company simply doesn't have the knowledge needed to keep my lawn healthy - I do not recommend them. They admit to being "short-handed" - not my fault - but it IS their fault for my lawn being totally too far gone - I deserve my money back for failure to improve it for the past year - and I paid for the coming year in advance - for the discount - before I realized the devastation created by their "treatments". I need that money refunded as well.

      Massey ruined my lawn. The technicians were told over and over to treat weeds and they said they did. The weeds kept getting worse and took over parts of my lawn. The time spent caring for my lawn each visit was 3-6 minutes. I have 1/3 acre of land. The technicians were pleasant but they did not know what they were doing. They frequently tried to come out twice a month to run up the bill. Different technicians care out each month. Now it is costing me a lot of money to fix what they did not do correctly. When I would call the office to report an issue or get a message to the technician, the office never passed it on. When I called the office to cancel services, they still tried to make trips to treat my lawn. No communication. I would never advocate any one use this company.

      They are terrible. Half the time they don't even show up. Some of the time if the tech thinks you aren't home they don't do the service. I called and emailed them to stop providing my service and they still came. and are trying to charge me. After all was done they called and asked if they could send someone to talk to me.

      Business practices are lacking. Homeowners please be aware that the company will continue to provide their services even after the initial one-year agreement is complete without any warning or notices. Pest control technician showed up unannounced, rendered services after my one-year agreement was complete, received a bill, and the only explanation was that it was written into the one-year agreement that they would continue to provide their services until you call them to cancel. The pest control was satisfactory but lack in customer services particularly notification to customers seeking if they would like to continue doing business with them.

      Lawn and shrub service has been absolutely horrid. I've been getting the run around for months and my st augustine is now at the point that I likely need to resod a large portion of my yard. Total Customer Satisfaction is absolutely the opposite of what I have experienced. For the last 10 or so months, the service technician has only been treating portions of my yard, and does not treat the entire property, even after multiple dialogues. Pest control has been satisfactory, but I'd stay away from other services.
