We had a bad experience with the consignment department. The salesman said he could sell our Class B RV for a certain amount. We drove it down to ** from ** because he said their ********* could not accept consignments by SC law. So after a month, we had some interest, then everything went quiet. I could not get in touch with the salesman. Then, I found out after many calls, that the salesman had left the company. After a lot of time and expense, I retrieved the Class B. It was dirty, muddy tires and looked as if it was parked under a tree. I would not recommend dealing with these people. Just save time and expense and sell your RV on your own.Optimum RV

We were very pleased with Optimums Ocala location. Our salesman went above and beyond to please us. The finance specialist did an outstanding job at getting us a great interest rate and worked hard to get us a lower rate for extra coverage. The day we picked up our unit, things were a little off schedule and because my husband and I had some business to take care of the assistant sales manager did our walk through with us so we werent delayed. The salesman even came in on his day off to make sure we were taken care of. My husband and I would highly recommend them to anyone we know buying a RV.Optimum RV

WORST PURCHASE OF MY LIFE CANNOT BELIEVE HOW TERRIBLE THIS PL**E IS. Purchased ****************************************** NOVEMBER. Knew we made a mistake after dealing with the service department just trying to get updates on delivery. When we got it found the ** didnt work got a nasty SERVICE ADVISOR ********, never got them to take care of it found another person who was able to get it covered under warranty and we installed it ourselves. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, we came home to a small leak in the living room slide, then it started coming out of the light fixture o we the dinning room area. Called so many times no call back for over a week I think I still would be waiting on a call back if my SERVICE ADVISOR ******** had not answered the phone. No apologies just your were on my list of people to call well it didnt go well she basically blames us for the roof leaks not 8 months after ownership. Basically its my job as a consumer to know how and when to service my camper. (Her exact words) She also said we needed to service the roof every 3-6 months owned an RV for 10 years never heard of this. Until I email ******* (very nice responsive) we finally got some issues fixed however due to the shadiness of the former management and employee we have to have the slide rebuilt hopefully covered under warranty waiting to find out about that needless to say BUYER BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I had suggested since I live in my destination trailer and I have to basically empty it to take it for the slide repair it would be nice to just upgrade me to a better camper. (Even swap) We will Have no place to stay once it goes in for the slide repair. ** thought ******* and ***** have been amazing to deal with its not really helping my current disappointment with this purchase I begged my husband for 6 months for this camper and traded my beautiful car ( the sacrifice I made for this camper and it has TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE. I have cried all day Im so stressed. BEWAREOptimum RV

*****************,
We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention.Customer satisfaction is our utmost priority. We regret to learn that your experience with our service advisor did not meet our high standards. Rest assured;we have communicated your feedback to their supervisor.
Routine maintenance is essential for your **, as it ensures that the roof is properly sealed and minimizes the likelihood of leaks. While routine maintenance alone cannot guarantee that your ** will never leak, it significantly reduces the risk. For detailed guidance on the routine maintenance required for your 2023 Puma Destination, please refer to the link provided below. If you have any questions regarding your **, do not hesitate to call us; we're always eager to assist.
At Optimum RV, we do not offer road-call services. ******************* manager ******* made an exception and sent someone to assist you with minor issues, as a gesture of goodwill and in consideration of your situation. This is not our standard practice.
The leak was identified 8 months post-purchase. We are willing to help with the repairs, but it is necessary for the ** to be taken to one of our facilities for a proper diagnosis and to address the damage resulting from the leak.
We are unable to offer a direct exchange for another **. The leak damage did not originate from Optimum RV. However, we are eager to discuss your trade-in possibilities and assist you in finding an upgraded **.
Here is the link to your routine maintenance guide:

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. These people at the Festus store get you in, you buy and they never respond to any calls. Paperwork was messed up 3 times that required us to drive an hour and 1/2 to resign. We did not get the title needed to register the camper on time, had to pay a late fee of $25 after repeatedly calling. We bought the extended warranty and decided to sell our camper, we called on what we needed to do and find out if it is transferable. We were told it is NOT transferable so we proceeded to try and cancel it. This was March 2024 when the communication began. After some back and forth and they were going to email the document that needed to be signed we could sign it and email back, this was never done, so finally after 2 months, we wasted our gas AGAIN to drive an hour and 1/2 after repeated calls to tell them we never got the email. We signed the paperwork to cancel before memorial weekend, they said they would send it right over to National RV Care. Today 7/29, i called National RV Care to follow up on the status of the cancellation, they never received any documents saying we wanted to cancel. I have once again been calling Optimum, and getting the run around, finance voice mail box is full, can't leave a message and waiting for a call back from **** the General Manager. Meanwhile, 4 months lost of money we were entitled to because they are ridiculous. We will never ever buy from them again, and everyone we know we tell to never use that facility.. I am to the point that i will go stand by the road with a sign and tell my story to everyone considering buying from them. I plan to do everything i can to make sure no one i know or anyone they know goes to the festus dealership. 1 star and its only for the young salesmen who have taken my call and done what they could to help, its the management and finance that does not help you.Optimum RV

We sincerely apologize for any frustration this may have caused. Our goal is to provide all our customers with a smooth buying experience, and we regret falling short in this instance. My husband and I purchased a 2012 Thor. We filled out all of the paperwork and everything was signed on June 30th with the promise of picking up the motorhome the following weekend. They called to tell us that they were installing new tires on the motor home and bumped our pick up date. We showed up to do the walk through as scheduled and were informed that it would be a wait as the tires were not complete yet. Waited approximately an hour and were taken out to the motor home. During the walk through we were told that the levelers were not functioning properly and that they would mail us the parts and we could install the board ourselves at home. We then noticed that the ladder providing roof access was damaged and needed to be replaced. We were told that it looked like someone had hit it with a golf cart and that they would order the ladder and we could bring the motor home back for the install. We were strongly encouraged to drive the motor home off the lot and take possession, but we felt it was in our best interests to leave it there for repairs. We left with the understanding that the repairs would be completed by their service **** and we would receive a call to come pick it up. We did receive a call from Rich W letting me know that someone had run into the front of our motor home with a forklift and it could not be repaired. At that point we asked for our money back. I was told to bring in the license plate that we had just received in the mail and they would refund our money, unwind the sale and all would be good. I called to cancel the insurance we had already purchased and found out later that this triggered the *** to threaten to suspend my license. Long story short, they returned my down payment and as of today's date have not taken care of this with my finance company. Nobody returns phone calls unless I threaten legal action. RUN from this business!!Optimum RV

Dear *******************,
We appreciate your feedback and deeply regret the inconvenience you experienced. Please be assured that our finance team has unwound the deal as promised. The unwinding of a sale involves several steps and procedures, which can delay the process. We began the unwinding process on July 12th and the full payoff was received by the lender on July 31, 2024.Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Optimum in Festus, **, put multiple posts for the same camper in ******** marketplace with different prices. Refused to honor price of lowest priced add and then tried to add a processing fee for a used camper that they listed in ******** Marketplace. SketchyyyyyyyOptimum RV
Date: 07/16/2024
********************,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We have fully investigated this matter and here is what we found: There was an incorrect posting for the camper listed at $8000.00 instead of the correct price of $8940.00. However, we were willing to honor the incorrect price of $8000.00. In addition to the sale price would be our prep and delivery costs, tax/tag/title, and our dealership documentation fee. Those additions are standard and are attached to all new or used purchases. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thank you,

My name is ***************************** and we went to optimum looking for a travel trailer camper, we was told to get on a golf cart and that we would be shown around. All of the campers we went thru all needed some type of repair except for the new ones, the used ones all had some sort of damages, water damage, missing ac units, missing toilets, missing cabinet doors, and etc.. was told by salesman ************************* that they fix anything that's wrong with the campers. I fell off the bottom step of 1 of the campers we went in. The negligence was the last step was spongy, like maybe it was missing a spring or bolt, underneath the step that I fell from was a hole in the ground, maybe a hole from the rain we had, like the ground washed out making a hole, anyways I fell, I knew I was hurt but thought maybe I just twisted my ankle and I would be okay, after getting in our truck I told my husband that I was hurt. We went home, my ankle was swollen very bad by the time we got home, which is like 20 minute drive. Husband wrapped my foot up with ace bandage and ice, the next morning it was worse, went to A immediate care facility, husband contacted optimum and no one has yet to call back and check on me, needless to say the salesman ************************* knew I had fallen, he even asked me if I was okay, at the time I thought I was okay, not realizing the severity of my injury. I'm now in a boot,, I have been injured on their property by their negligence but no one has had any care of what happened to me or has even acknowledged it with any concerns. So if anyone has any suggestions or who I can contact at optimum that will listen or that cares. They also need to train people on how to drive the gold carts because the driver that we had ************************* needs to slow down when he has passengers on the golf cart going thru humpty gravel on a un level field.Optimum RV

Optimum RV misrepresented what they could do. Over and over again we were told the ** would sell fast if we did consignment. They would do all this advertising to get it sold. they gave me a price for consignment and I thought was reasonable. time passed with nothing. I looked on their site and you have to go to the very end to find. I asked about buying out right. The rep offered a number saying I will need to get approval. Why would the rep offer anything if has no authority???. Days later they came in $4000 less and offered only 46% of the value they are trying to sell for. I should have gone with the other company that offered cash but I believe Optimum when I talked to them. Do not recommend. They will not do as they say.Optimum RV

***********************,
Thank you for contacting us. When we consign an **, we market the ** and show it to customers as they tour our lot. Although we cannot guarantee how quickly an ** will sell,we prioritize selling the ** for our customers. Our consignment specialist spoke with you about Optimum RV purchasing it from you and mentioned that any offer would need approval. Once she received the approval, she presented our highest and best offer to purchase the ** from you, but you did not agree to the amount. We have fulfilled all our obligations as agreed.Thank you,
