Dont waste your money purchasing a timeshare with Westgate Resort. We went into the presentation being pressured to purchase, and we rejected multiple offers, and after each rejection they acted like they never heard us say NO! It was a horrible experience from start to finish. We noticed that in our contract there was missing documentation such as the public offering statement. We were asked to lie about our finances and told to inflate our earnings. The sales rep discouraged us from asking any questions and they told us to hold questions until the end of signing the contract. We can obviously see now it was an intentional act to prevent us from obtaining necessary information to make an informed decision. But thats the rubthey want you ill-informed, otherwise no one would EVER buy a timeshare from them. They never disclosed to us that we had 10 days to cancel our contract if we decided we didnt want this after all. It was all overlooked because we were told to just sign. I am writing this review in the hopes of helping anyone who reads this from a lifetime of misfortune. Dont let Westgate sales reps pressure or fool you into buying a timeshare. It isnt worth the hassle or the mountain of debt their salespeople force onto you.Central Florida Investments, Inc.

Westgate Resorts is the most unethical company that we have ever encountered. We are simply astonished that we have been dealing with them for more than 5 years trying to get rid of them after the lies. We were fed broken promises and misinformation, including being told that this was an investment that would grow in value and could be easily resold, where we could create a passive income through. Nothing but lies. I hope any person reads all these bad reviews before entering into a never ending headaches and problems.Central Florida Investments, Inc.

I am writing this review because of the misleading and deceptive practices that I was subjected to by the Westgate Sales Team. I also have a medical condition (Bipolar Personality Disorder) where I shouldn't make major decisions due to the medicine I take, and they took full advantage of me. Their sales team put so much pressure on me and wore me down to the point that forced me to make a bad decision. The sales team exaggerated about the ease of booking prime vacation slots, they failed to disclose the high demand and the limited availability. I was also not fully informed about the annual maintenance fees, the special assessment fees, and their potential to increase over time. I was also assured that these fees would not be passed down to my heirs, but apparently, they will be. The sales presentation was designed to coerce and pressure me into making an immediate decision without providing the opportunity to review the contract details thoroughly. The time commitment we were told was 90-minutes, however the salespeople grinded us for nearly 8-hours until we agreed to buy. The sales reps inaccurately portrayed the timeshare as a profitable investment that could easily be sold or rented out for profit. The sales team did not adequately explain the rescission period or my right to cancel the contract within a specific timeframe. It's clear that the sales tactics employed were not only unethical but intentionally deceptive, designed to obscure the full nature of the commitment being made. I was reading other reviews, and they all were lied too as well. I am hoping they see this review and do the right thing by releasing me from this contract that we have.Central Florida Investments, Inc.

Westgate Resorts employees are the most unethical of any company that we have ever encountered. We are simply astonished that we have been dealing with them for over 6 years. We were fed broken promises and misinformation, including being told that this was an investment, like a real estate purchase. One that would grow in value and could be easily resold, where we could create a passive income through. The resorts are severely unkept with dirty sheets in our room and delayed responses to our requests for clean ones after long journeys only added to the frustration. Such lapses in service are unacceptable and contribute to the overall disappointment we have experienced with Westgate.To compound matters, a personal injury in 2020 has left us with significant medical bills. Considering these unexpected financial challenges, the prospect of selling the timeshare for a profit provided relief. However, the reality is that the promises of easy resale and rental opportunities were unfounded, yet that is what we were told by the Westgate salesperson.Westgates answer to the issues they intentionally causedaggressive collection agencies, threatening letters, and zero ownership of their deeply rooted fraudulent sales practices. The combination of deceptive practices, and unfulfilled promises has led to a highly disappointing and regrettable timeshare experience with Westgate Resorts. There isnt anything good to say about Westgate Resorts. What was supposed to be an enjoyable vacation turned into a grueling gauntlet of their relentless sales garbage and empty pledges. Right from the get-go, we were hit with an insufferable onslaught of redundant meetings, chewing up a whole day of our precious vacation time. A vacation is supposed to be about relaxation, not enduring a non-stop barrage of high-pressure tactics. We reluctantly caved and dropped $2,000 on their starter package, only to discover later that it was yet another bait-and-switch. That whole spiel about it going toward a future timeshare purchase? Not true. The following year, we were forced into another meeting. This time with the false promise that we wouldn't be bothered with any more tours. Instead, we were fed a load of lies about our kids inheriting the timeshare without financial strings attached. Surprise, surprise, it was another lie. The price of the contract skyrocketed from $20,000 to $55,000, making us feel manipulated and ripped off due to the lack of disclosure on interest rates and finance charges. Now, we're sitting here in over $50,000 debt, not to mention the constant drain of maintenance fees and yearly fees for out-of-state or international travel. It's like Westgate is hell-bent on squeezing every ***** out of us. To add insult to injury, booking through Interval screwed us over, leaving us unable to stay at our chosen resort. That was a major letdown and a clear example of how inefficient their reservation staff is. We have requested copies of the second contract we signed and nothing. We're left in the dark about the terms of our agreement, and that's just unacceptable! Especially considering the hefty chunk of change we've dropped over the past eight years. Overall, our experience with Westgate Resorts has been terrible. The outrageous costs for a measly week of vacation, combined with the never-ending meetings and empty promises, have left us feeling conned!Central Florida Investments, Inc.

Contrary to what you allege, a review of the recorded closing as well as the executed contract documents clearly refute several of these claims. Our records also show that there was a direct discussion that included full disclosure of the maintenance and tax fees, the interest rate, and the total cost of financing.
Additionally, the fact remains that you were provided with credit for the $995.00 you spent on the starter package, not $2,000.00, and that it was clearly disclosed who and what the exchange companies were and that you would be receiving a complimentary 2-year membership to one entity and a 1-year upgraded membership to the other. You were made aware that any continued membership was purely voluntary. Additionally, also contrary to the allegations presented, our records show that you went home with a contract set and were specifically provided with a set of duplicate documents as part of our response from last year.
Ultimately, Westgate's position remains that, absent supporting documentation to hold your claims evident and refute both the executed contract documents and recorded closing, the contract is valid and enforceable.

My experience with Westgate Resorts in August 2021 was a nightmare. Promises of perks and benefits turned into financial burden and regret. Required to make a $20 deposit, I attended a presentation led by ***************************, met with pressure tactics and false assurances. Despite my disinterest, I was coerced into considering an offer. Flexibility and availability promises were lies. Attempts to book trips resulted in exorbitant fees and hidden charges. Despite not completing the initial deposit, Westgate reported late payments, damaging my credit. This has hindered my financial stability and dream of homeownership. I believe I fell victim to a scam and should be allowed to cancel the agreement. Communication with Westgate has been futile. I caution against engaging with this company and urge regulatory investigation into their unethical practices. Avoid Westgate Resorts at all costs.Central Florida Investments, Inc.

En mayo del 2021, mi novio y yo, nos vimos enredados en un contrato estafador con la compaa Westgate resorts. Fuimos a Orlando para celebrar el da de las madres y vaya celebracin! En vez de pasar un bo**to fin de semana despus de haber tomado ventaja de un paquete de viajes de 3 das y 3 noches por solo $99, nos vimos atrapados en una presentacin de ventas con personas codiciosas, estafadoras y mentirosas que solo buscan robarle dinero a la gente. Una presentacin de tan solo 30 minutos, se convirti en un abuso psicolgico de 5 horas! Estuvimos encerrados en cuartos pequeos sin ************* ** beber, con mucho calor y bajo presin. Nos pintaron un paquete vacacional que segn nos permitira viajar el mundo y hasta generaramos ingresos con dicha compra. Muy de lado dejaron informacin importantsima como la taza de inters de lo que estbamos comprando, la manera en que el mante**miento anual seguira incrementando, el hecho de lo que estbamos comprando no se poda rentar ** vender, ** que funcionara para nada!El personal de Westgate se enfoca en atraer gente trabajadora y latina como nosotros. Trabajo duro como pintora, y demasiado como para que gente sin escrpulos como esta me lo quite en un robo legal. Porque esto ser legal, o as lo pintan, pero no tiene nada ** tico ** moral la manera que lo presentan y lo venden. No nos permitieron revisar los documentos que firmamos antes de firmar, nos apresuraron a cerrar todo, todo el contrato estaba en ingls. Esta compaa solo abusa de los ms ************ Quiero que cancelen mi contrato y me devuelvan mi dinero! Si lo que tienen de verdad es tan valioso, por que no lo quieren de vuelta? Scam #2 The gentleman talked very fast and seemed to want to get down to business before we were even done with our breakfast. *************************** (rep#*****) and *************************** (rep#*****) were the ones we met after breakfast. They both mentioned being timeshare owners and ****** cut **** off by saying her father would buy her and her siblings timeshares as Christmas gifts which made her love for them grow(strange) and the decision to work with Westgate. We thought this would be a good idea as if we ever could not utilize a timeshare we could also rent it out to people and gain the income from it. I finally decided to purchase it and put down $1,574.00. The thing that scared me was the maintenance fee. They go up every year, its the truth. Also, the interest is sky high. Its absolutely ridiculous. I still felt good about my decision as it was something I could definitely pass down to my children and then to their grandchildren. Looking at the contract later on once we were back home I realized that the interest rate was a lot more. The one thing I did hear was **** and another man talking and saying Were going to get our money . It was a red flag. I should have paid more attention to the end. I tried asking if I could get this canceled one time and they told me sorry, but you were past the time frame to do so. Every time trying to rent out the timeshare, the times never matched up for allowing me to do so.Dont buy.This is a complete scam. The maintenance fees are constantly going up every year. This money pit has been nothing but a burden to me and my family. I dont know how Westgate Personel sleep at night. This has been nothing but a burden and all the sale reps ***** have my best interest in mind, only their pocket books. Cancel this contract and refund my money. I will submit a bad review to Westgate, until Im done with this timeshare.Central Florida Investments, Inc.
