-On sunday 08/06/2023 I had received a letter from company. The letter date 07/07/2023 why took a month to send is odd. Bill according to them was on 05/07/2023 which is odd since I haven't ordered anything since 2 years ago from them.
-According to only them the amount of $466.10
-They state this is for a debt from ****
-The nature of the dispute is that I contacted **** as I've been a member with them in good standing since 2016. I've had the same account the entire time. I haven't bought anything from them in over 2 years now. They state this claim is false I have no debt to them as it's a you buy as you order company. When I told ********* on 08/06/2023 at 11:51, a rep for ****. That valor intelligent processing said I do owe them and gave me an account number, the rep said that the number provided was NOT my account number and he couldn't tell me anything on the account valor provided. I proceeded to contact valor, first by phone with no answer. Then on their site as listed by the paper they provided. You can only contact them on their site if you agree to promotional and solicitation phone calls, as shown by my proof. Since when do you have to agree to be sold something or harassed to dispute a false debt? They have no other way for me to find out how to dispute and the paper did not explain how you do this just to do this if needed. How do you do it if they won't give you proper tools to do it. I do not agree to harassments or swindling, being sold something. If this is business is legit why would you have to agree to such terms to dispute, concerning and odd. I do want this matter resolved and checked into.
-So far I'm the only one trying to resolve as they didn't answer and I won't agree to solicitation including promotional kind to get information from them by contacting them on their site like their paper said.
-Account number they say is mine but is not according to ********* at **** is *********.

I have gotten continuous spam texts and now calls about collecting a debt on behalf of the ***** ***** ******* *********? I have never even been to ***** and reside in **********. I am unsure how they got ahold of my contact information. It is borderline harassment with all of the texts and now calls that I have received.Business Response

I have tried disputing this matter with this company for a bill that is NOT mine - Valor Reference: ********
The first I receive of this notice was a very threatening letter stating they will report this debt to collections agencies if I do not pay immediately, dated 06/12/2023.
I received a letter for an unpaid "*******" debt (Valor Re: ********). I do not have ******* and have not had any Internet or Cable service for over a full decade (10 years ++). I have never had ******* service and I have not ever had Cable TV Internet Service contract for any reason, needless to say a bill for $564.43!
This debt collection appears to be a fraudulent scam on the part of this company or an individual. To threaten me with a debt collection of $564.43 for a service I have never had, not providing a valid billing statement and true identity of my contract is certainly noted where I have agreed to something, needless to say will be impossible since I have not had a home for cable service.
I do not have unpaid debts and do not deal with companies that have contracts, this debt is not mine and I certainly would not have had a cable TV or Internet bill since I do not use TV. Again, I have never done business with *******!
This debt collection is NOT mine! The company is willfully damaging my credit score and making an effort to cause financial harm by not resolving this matter immediately. Their online form does not work in order to file a complaint with them. For the Better Business Bureau to Accredit this company that is engaged in schemes and debt collection practices certainly tells the story of accreditation.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: This collection is for a home in Georgia. I do not own a house. I live in ***** and have lived in ***** for the past 6 years. ******* has made it impossible to dispute this claim as they require me to provide my Leasing agreement or Mortgage information, Utility bills and any other statements with my full name and home address on it. I don't have a Leasing or Mortgage bill and do not have a utility bill since I don't own or rent a home. Somehow, someone has used my name and information to obtain Cable service in a state that I have never lived or visited. ******* has referred this to collection to Valor where all I am able to do is provide my ID and related information. However, ******* on the phone stated I must provide a real physical address with a rental / lease agreement or mortgage paperwork in order to consider this for dispute and during the time of service or this bill will be considered valid. Again, I don't rent or have a mortgage. I travel for a living, my travel trailer is not available for Cable service since it is a mobile trailer on wheels!

They called me demanding I pay them $217.93, just answered and demanded that I pay then and there, told them no because I had spoken to xfinity and that amount was wrong, plus I could still pay my bill through the xfinity website. They guy then calmed down and hung up. I just paid off my account with xfinity, yet this company is still sending me letters. Furthermore, they don’t answer their phone when trying to dispute, nor does their website work for disputes. Shady company DO NOT TRUST.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I do want it noted that for anyone out there dealing with this company : BEWARE!! Their website does not work, they do not answer their phones, and send various letters in the mail trying to scare you into paying debts you do not have. Contact the company they claim the debt is for instead, that’s how I got this settled.

I keep receiving calls from this company, but they never leave a message and everytime I answer the phone they hang up. I receive calls daily and it is harassment when you leave no message and when I answer no one speaks. Enough.....Business Response
