Purchased tickets through events ************************** on 7/23 for show on 9/28 at 2 pm Email was confirmed with instructions to follow. Message read I would receive tickets by 9/27 - 24 hours before show. On 9/27 I contacted this business via phone and live chat. I was told three different deadlines. 3:00, 7:00 and 9:00. The last live chat told me to wait until midnight. I texted I put in a dispute for the charge and if I did not have the tickets by midnight I would have to purchase another pair of tickets. On 9/28 I called and did a live chat and was told to wait until 11:00 am when the show starts at 2:00. I made all of them aware that I have a two hour drive to the venue and cannot wait. For all the lies and stress this company gave me - telling me I would have my tickets in time for the show AND expecting me to wait until three hours before the show to see if the tickets became available I want to be compensated for the lady minute ticket I had to buy for the show. Never heard from a manager when I requested a call Was told the venue had not released the barcodes when I contacted them and all tickets were made available. I made a purchase of two tickets that turned out to be an out of town game. within 10 minutes I had emailed Event Ticket Center.The email in return basically in not so many words said "Tuff, your fault, no refund." I am filing this complaint against Ticket Center for predatory pricing practices, deception and failure to provide adequate customer service.Details of the Transaction:Date of Purchase: July 19th Amount Paid: $313.50 Event: Australian Pink ***** on September 13th Number of Tickets: 2 Seat Details: Section and Row provided, but no specific seat numbers Description of the Issue:On July 19th, I purchased two tickets for this through Ticket Center. The total charge was $313.50, but upon checking the official venue website, I discovered that the face value of the tickets is $158, and tickets were still available at this price.Ticket Centers website indicated that tickets were "going fast," which pressured me into making the purchase. However, this claim appears to be false given the availability of tickets at the venue's official website.Furthermore, the tickets provided are in PDF format with only section and row numbers, lacking specific seat details. This lack of transparency and the significant markup are concerning. I have read in multiple sources that people arrive at the venue only to be turned away because this website has given them invalid tickets.I have attempted to contact Ticket Centers customer service through multiple methods to request a refund, but they have a strict no-refund policy and have been unresponsive to my inquiries.I am seeking a full refund of $313.50 due to the deceptive practices and lack of transparency. I accidentally purchased the wrong tickets at 10:30pm July 4th. At 9am July 5th my order was not finalized so I contacted them to cancel which they refused. July 6 I called them and they said now since the tickets processed I couldnt cancel (again, they were not processed at the time of my first contact with them within 9 hours of purchase). They instructed me to resell but they didnt deliver electronically or physically any tickets, so no sites would allow resell. At this moment I still dont know where the tickets are or where I or anyone would pick them up. Evidently they plan on telling me this the day of the event which would make everything impossible. I regularly purchase concert tickets from seat geek, ticket master, StubHub etc and have never experienced anything like this.Initial Complaint

On ******* it was the first website to pop up to purchase show tickets in my area for. I purchased the tickets and my credit card company immediately denied the purchase but I told them to approve it. Not knowing it was declined because the company was not legit, I spent $347 on tickets to then never get them. Purchased tickets online through ticket-center.com for ******************* for August 23, 2024. Only received email stating that would not receive tickets until August 22. Read online that this company is a scam and sells tickets that does not have. Purchased tickets for ****** and Parking ticket for ****** I am so angry and frustrated. Only could contact through a chat no phone number to find. This company should be in jail. Look them up in Rip off.com How are they still able to do business. On May 29th TicketMaster had a presale of ******** tickets at 10:00am. As I waited a page opened up on my screen asking for how many tickets. I thought it was ******** proceeded with the purchase, not realizing I was no longer on the TicketMaster website. I thought I had to do this quickly, as I was being rushed by this site saying tickets were going quickly. I requested Orchestra Center, & when I got the price I thought it was steep but if that's what it is for those seats I would pay. I was not given any seat #'s & started to realize that although the site looked like TicketMaster, it wasn't. Realizing my mistake I called the company, and they would not let me cancel the order. They said all sales are final. Yet I don't have any specific seats & their email says tickets with not be available until Oct.3, 2024. Their methods of infiltrating a website that is not theirs with the same appearance is unethical, & fraudulent. Their price gauging is at least 450% over the actual amount of the tickets which should be illegal. If I made a mistake because of their unethical practices, I could deal with paying for it if they sold me unwanted tickets at face value with the $110 service charge. This would be a lot but $609 for a $49 ticket is criminal. This business is a sham, & should be shut down. They are stealing from people, and they say "we are doing everything legally".
