I received a CPAP machine from them last year. Within 2 months I received some supplies in the mail. I thought ok, I guess they are ***lacement parts for later. Then the supply packages kept coming and coming. I didnt open them and wanted to return them and wondered why they would send so many extra supplies. It was confusing to me how to reach out and stop the automatic supplies. Today I called to talk to customer service and they removed me from automatic mailing of supplies and said I could return any unopened packages to the local store. She said she was transferring me to someone at a local store who could help me but when I was transferred they said wrong department and hung up on me. I called back and reached someone at returns who said they could not give me credit for the supplies. I was confused because the other *** said I could. She said they do not accept any returned supplies ever. But the website looks like they have forms and such to return unopened supplies. When I asked to speak to a manager or someone else, she said no at first and then asked for my number several times (its in my file). I have a bill now for around $300 of supplies. I feel they were predatory in signing me up for this and not giving an easy way to un-enroll. And I feel they force fed me these supplies to make money. I just want credit for some of these supplies.Business Response

The doctor ordered a wound vac for me when I was leaving he hospital. The original cost was over $1856.02. The item stopped working correctly 6 days in with the alarm going off every 3 minutes or so while trying to sleep. The doctor removed it 2 days later. So I only used it for a total of 8 days.Rotech called me and asked if I was still using it, When I responded NO they asked me to return it early. Which I had plan to as soon as the ** releasing me from it for good. After I returned it to them and asked for an adjusted bill I received a text with a balance due of $61.86. Which after calling, no one could explain what it was for. That amount was then taken from out account, without approval. We then canceled our card so nothing else would be taken. All we had asked for was an adjusted bill as we did not use it or even have it for the whole month. Per their request, for me to return it as I was not using it. They will not even discuss an adjustment.Business Response

I am a 77 year old man. Last year, I was released from the hospital with a portable oxygen tank it was from RoTech. I never had oxygen before I was released on Friday on Monday RoTech called to pick up their equipment I asked to let me have a little time to Allow my wife to get me my own portable unit I asked if I could rent it the woman was terribly rude and refused all requests finally after telling my wife to put me in the car and go back to the hospital, we asked if we could purchase this unit which was clearly used RoTech took full price over *********************************************************** a few months I didnt need it. I spoke to Rotech again and they came and picked up their machine but REFUSED to return any of my money its been a year and Ive called many times they say they will return my money but do not do so. I believe Ive paid 100s in interest fees plus the outstanding 4000. I believe this is Elder Abuse and this company should refund my money with interest and be sanctioned. They should not be dealing with sick peopleBusiness Response

I continue to get bills for equipment I received from 12/23/24. When I contacted Rotech customer service about the need to file this bill with my insurance, the representative told me that my insurance had "expired." ************ has not changed or expired. Per their requests, I answered quite a few questions and emailed them copies of our insurance cards as "proof" that our insurance existed (see attachment). Today, I received yet another bill, so all of my efforts were in vain. I am asking that my account is updated and filed with my insurance as expected. I am asking that I do not receive additional bills and to zero out my balance.Business Response

On 12/17/25 my father's doctor said he no longer needed portable oxygen tanks. I made a call to the local Rotech office and requested the equipment be picked up. The woman that answered the phone said she would send someone out and no one ever showed up. I have called 1/29/25, 1/30/25, 2/12/25, and 2/25/25. On 1/29 the woman said she needed a doctors order to cancel. I offered to give her an after visit summary which she stated was not good enough. She gave me a fax number and I requested the doctor to send a request/order. The did the following day, I called back she said they would come out again and never showed up. Subsequent calls I was told the same and again no one came to pick up Rotech's equipment. I went to the company website and explained and request the same via contact form and equipment pick up form 2/26/25 and was advised they would pick up 3/5/25. No one came again and now when I question they tell me 3/12/25. My father is legally blind and lives in a 1 room apartment. Each time I pull the at least a dozen tanks from the closet and shower stall when I'm told there will be a pick up. When they do not show up I have to put back in closet and shower so he doesn't trip over the oxygen tanks. I have exhausted all efforts and need assistance getting their equipment picked up and out of my fathers apartment. His name is ****** ****** at *********************************** Apt 288, *********, IL *****. It's been almost 3 months and a lot of headache. This is unacceptable and poses a risk to my father. I have explained to employee but she is rude and does not care. I cannot physically move the tanks again and would like them picked up immediately.Business Response

I believe Rotech ******************************************, ** has engaged in unethical, decptive, and predatory billing practices by improperly billing me for months (I have been keeping documentation since September 2024) for rental of a **** machine. I first called their customer care center (numerous times) and after not getting any clarity, I asked to speak to a supervisor. The person I was speaking to indicated that practice was to have supervisors call back after reviewing the file and I would receive a call in 1 - 3 days. I never got a call back. I reached out to their local office to get clarification of their billing which seemed to double bill me for rental of a **** machine. During one of these in-person visits to their local office (*************************************************************) in September 2024, I was assured that under my ****************** I would have completed the rent-to-own arrangement for the equipment as of October 11, 2024. I continued to receive bills accruing charges for **** and monitoring through December and visited their office again on December 30. I was assured that they would take care of the billing errors, and was owed a refund $16.41 that I should expect to recieve within 6 weeks of that conversation. During that December 30 visit to their office, I also purchased additional equipment, for $53.27. Last week I received another bill showing charges for **** rental and monitoring for January and February and additional charges of $9.19 for the **** facemask. It was unclear from this billing that they received the $53.27 for this equipment, since they say my insurance covered all but $19.31 of the costs, and they were charging me this additional $9.19 -- inexplicably different amounts. To compound the confusion (and possible deception) surrounding the billing, their written bills that arrive in the mail always have a different amount listed as due than the online billing portal and the periodic texts messages telling me I have an outstanding balance.Business Response
