      Settlement money was retained by Morgan & Morgan for the amount of five hundred dollars for any additional fees or expenses. I have reached out and was told there are no additional expenses and the money would be paid out by check to me. After many attempts I still havent received a payment.

      My husband, my daughter, and myself all used Morgan and Morgan attorney services for a car accident we were in. Their service was great,and we were awarded a settlement, which we collected. The problem is that this firm kept some of our settlement money in reserves in case remaining health care bills came due, and they were supposed to issue us checks for the remaining balance, if no more were accrued. Weve been waiting over six months for the remaining payments and we have called multiple times, and emailed. We have been told repeatedly that theywill issue our checks within two weeks but they never come. All calls and emails to these people are fruitless. They owe us money and wont pay it.

      One of Morgan and Morgan lawyers was supposed to be handling my disability appeals case but I can't get in contact with him i have tried to terminate the services because he's not doing anything but I can't get in touch with him and im not paying someone who has not done anything if I get it now because he has done nothing.

      I enlisted the services of Morgan and Morgan in May of 2024 to represent me in a ********* comp case. All during the process I never felt like they really cared despite the constant bombardment of their commercials claiming that they take care of their clients. It was months before I got medical attention and then it was incompetent. Example, I broke my left great toe during the accident at work. For a month and a half I was sent to physical therapy for a broken toe. I complained constantly to my legal team to no avail. I was constantly told by my paralegal I had to attend these appointments or forfeit my claim. The physical therapist finally stepped in told the insurance company they couldn't do anything until I saw a podiatrist. Then the insurance company told my team they had made a mistake the order should have been for therapy on my right knee. Then the insurance company sent me to work a supposedly light duty job and if I didn't take it I could lose my benefits, which is really funny because it had been 2 months by then and I hadn't received any anyway. I was originally seen in the ** in ************** where I had a MRI on my right knee and left foot. Results were broken great toe on left foot and sprained MCL in right knee. I was put in a walking boot on my left foot. I had been wearing that boot for 2mos by the time I saw a doctor. Previous to this I complained to my legal team that I needed medical attention for my left knee as well because I fell on both knees when I was injured but at the time I couldn't distinguish the ******************** from the constant ********************. When I asked for help from my legal team they said they're a law firm we don't handle medical issues. I saved the entire thread of communication from them. This dragged on for months. Lawyer set up a settlement appointment even though I was still injured. Also I didn't receive all of my portion of the settlement. $2500 they kept after depositing into my account instead of a check

      I responded to Morgan and Morgan when they reached out, but since then they haven't responded. I've had to repeatedly turn down jobs due to this lingering injury. Your portal doesn't allow for attachments from messages which is where the communication from Morgan and Morgan are. How can I send them to you. I'm frustrated and in constant pain.

      I called on June 4, 2025 regarding a potential case, the woman who took my call was extremely rude. A few minutes into giving her my information, she just hung up and never called back. I wouldve liked to use them but I will go elsewhere.

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the lack of communication, follow-up, and overall service I have received from Morgan and Morgan in relation to my case. My case manager, ****** *****, has shown a consistent pattern of unresponsiveness, which has caused considerable frustration and concern. On 05/14/2025, I was contacted by *** *****, who requested my signature on a document pertaining to my case. I signed and returned the document the same day, as requested, believing that the matter would proceed promptly. However, since that time, I have been unable to receive any meaningful updates regarding my case.Over the course of the next three weeks, I made more than five attempts to reach *** ***** via phone, leaving detailed voicemails each time. Additionally, I sent three emails, all of which requested a simple status update on my case. Despite my repeated efforts to follow up, I received no response, and my concerns went completely unaddressed.On 06/03/2025, I finally reached *** ****** During our conversation, I was informed that no follow-up had been made on my case, and that nothing had been done since I returned the signed documents on May 14. This lack of action was both disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering the trust I placed in your firm to handle my legal matters. I am extremely disappointed by this lack of professionalism and communication. As a client, I expect a basic level of responsiveness, especially when I have taken every initiative to stay in touch. The failure to follow up on my case in a timely manner has caused unnecessary frustration, leaving me with serious concerns about the handling of my legal affairs.I trust that Morgan and Morgan will take this matter seriously and work to resolve the issues Ive raised, including a formal acknowledgment of this complaint and an assurance that this issue will be addressed to prevent future instances of similar neglect.       Letter of complaint concerning Morgan & Morgan Law Firm of *******. I obtained them as attorneys for a slip and fall injury I obtained on September 1, 2024. My leg was broken in 2 places. I was offered an agreed upon settlement on or about Dec 10, 2024. With all that said and done. Morgan & Morgan state that they take a range of commission based on work involved when seeking a settlement. This is what is advertised: The fee is typically between 33 1/3% to 40% of the total recovery, with the exact percentage potentially varying based on case complexity and whether it goes to trial. I was injured on 9/1/2024 and settled on 12/10/2024, so settlement took a little over 3 months with no court involvement. They took 40% of my settlement PLUS additional fees for what would normally be included in the work done, especially for that sizeable fee. They received my settlement check within a few days of the actual settlement, but I had to wait 90 days to get my funds. On top of that they kept $100 for some reason and had to wait an additional 90 days for that $100. That was supposed to be paid to me by May 24th, 2025. I have contacted them three times in the last week asking where the money is with no response other than they will contact the accounting office to disperse the funds. It is June 2, 2025, and still nothing. Unrealistic to wait 6 months for a settlement check to be paid in full. What warrants the 40% plus fee's? When I ask, they just say that is how they do it. Other than the final settlement paperwork I had to sign to get paid I was never advised of any of the fees or percentage. The attorney said he told me verbally in a phone call, but I never discussed fees in a phone call to anyone until I complained to them.

      I am rejecting your response on the basis that while you acknowledged the delay in disbursement of my funds, your justification for the fees chargedclaiming complexityis not valid under your own stated guidelines.
      There was nothing complex about my settlement. From the date of injury to the date of settlement was approximately three months. There were no court hearings, no depositions, no witnesses called, and no extended legal correspondence required. In fact, your attorney acknowledged that he knew the opposing counsel very well because of previous clients and that the settlement was negotiated in approximately three hours on the day of the agreement.
      Based on these facts, charging a 40% contingency fee and categorizing this case as complex is unjustified. The outcome did not require extended litigation, expert consultations, or intricate case development. I am therefore disputing the fee structure and the six-month disbursement delay, which does not align with the level of service provided.
      I request a review of this matter and an adjustment of the fee to reflect the actual scope and duration of work completed.

      On 9/1/2024, *** ***** opened her case with our Firm regarding her alleged slip and fall at ******** parking lot occurring earlier that same day.
      We provided the State of Floridas required documents to present to clients to *** ******************** of Clients Rights for Contingency **************** confirmed reception, reviewed, and signed that same day.
      Authority to Represent-*** ***** confirmed reception, reviewed, and signed that same day.
      On 9/3/2024, the ***************** Claims ******** acknowledged the claim and refused to make any settlement offers.
      Thus later that day after Defendants refusal to offer anything, Plaintiff instructed her attorneys to sue *******.
      After extensive discovery filings, exchanges of records and phone conferences, it became clear there was absolutely no liability under Florida Statute 768.0755.
      It was explained thoroughly to *** ***** that while she was injured, ******* did not do anything wrong and was not liable for her alleged parking lot slip and fall.
      Despite no liability, At Mediation with Court Appointed Mediator, Defendant ******* in good faith made a generous offer and made clear the offer was solely to avoid upcoming litigation costs in depositions/experts/etc. and definitely not an admission of liability as they did nothing wrong to cause *** ****** injuries.
      This was explained thoroughly to *** ***** along with the fees, costs, and how much money *** ***** would get in her pocket if she accepted the offer.
      *** ***** agreed to take the offer verbally and in writing,
      *** ***** signed the Mediators settlement agreement for the Court on 12/16/2024.
      *** ***** signed ******** settlement agreement on 12.17.2024.
      *** ***** signed the closing statement again explaining all fees and costs on 2/18/2025.

      While our Firm has compassion for *** ****** injuries, and ******* also has sympathy for *** ****** injuries, all parties made everything thoroughly clear to *** ***** throughout the case on fees, costs, and the fact that there was absolutely no liability or wrongdoing in the matter and that this was a great result for *** ***** under the facts of her case. We wish her all the best and are glad we could get her a great result in an efficient manner.

      With this issue not being addressed, and Morgan and Morgan closing the matter, I have referred this over to the Florida Bar for unprofessionalism and lack of ethics. They have not provided any steps to addressing this problem so they ignore the complaint and close. That is the peak of unprofessionalism. No one has ever contacted me. Please advise them of this matter going forward.

      I don't even know where to begin, it was an absolute nightmare dealing with Morgan & Morgan. They dropped the ball a million times before we settled, and I had gone through three different ******s during this three year period. After my second ****** quit, I didn't hear from my new ****** for 6 months. I tried reaching out to my old paralegal multiple times, but was completely ignored and left in the dark. It wasn't until I got hold of a supervisor that I found out who the new one was. The third and final ****** that was assigned to me was ******* ******, and she was a nightmare to deal with. She had an attitude from the beginning and dropped the ball more times than I could count. After three long years, I finally just decided to settle because I had lost complete faith in her to get the job done. To make matters worse, I netted a lot less than what was promised because ******* didn't go over all the hidden fees until AFTER I signed the settlement. To make matters worse, she then told me that they will be keeping $5,000 as a deposit " in case they receive any more medical bills from my doctor", and that I would receive the deposit back in 90 days. I tried reaching out to ******* and her team for over a year to get my deposit back, and I was completely ignored until I texted her I was going to ****** up. ******* said it was obviously a mistake and she would look into it. Her paralegal finally sent me the check, but it was short $3,140.59. ******* and her team are still ignoring all of my calls, emails, and text messages. I still have the message where she said it was a mistake, but I'm sure it was also a mistake that they "forgot to send me the deposit to begin with and ignored me completely for a year". It's a shame that Morgan and Morgan chooses to operate this way, ******* is a thief and liar and shouldn't be practicing law. Unless this issue is resolved immediately, you''ll be hearing from my ****** very soon.

      I hired Morgan and Morgan for an auto accident injury case. They did win my case. It was a simple case. I received my settlement from the at fault drivers insurance. My insurance settlement took a little longer and was put in escrow to be held until I contacted my federal debt for an amount to be agreed upon and some of it went into a trust for any left over doctor bills I may have which totaled around 300 dollars. My lawyer told me I would receive what was left in 30 to 90 days. When. I called for an update on the trust money the paralegal had no idea what I was talking about and was very rude. She told me my attorney would call me back. It has been over a month and I have called around 5 times and sent text with no response . I also called customer care center and still nothing. Through this whole ordeal the attorney and paralegal have not been on the same page telling me contradicting information and they have not been very good with communication. I feel they have received their money and wont bother with me now. I find them very unprofessional and unethical. Upon reading the other complaints it seems the lack of communication is a pattern. I hope this will resolve my issue. My paperwork they gave me backs up what I have stated.

      I am rejecting this response because: I did have a closing meeting and at the meeting with my attorney she said that the majority of the money will go into an escrow account until I let her know when to release it and around ***** will go into a trust for any left over ** bills. And when the ** bills came out I would get the rest of that. I have paper work showing that. If that is not what happened than my attorney lied to me. I would like to release the money to my debt and to be the rest of the money that was in the trust. That my attorney said I would receive in ***** days.

      My settlement was for 25,000$. Morgan and Morgan fees were ****** which left a balance of 15$. Child support was around ****** and ***** was put up for medical bills. My medical bills per my closing paperwork is around ******. So where is the 2100 that was left. My attorney told me I would get that in ***** days. I cant get my attorney who was the only person in the meeting with me to tell me what happened.

I understand that ****** went to my federal debt and 2500 was held in a trust for medical bills. My medical bills came up to a little over 300$. My attorney told me this at closing and said I would get the remaining 2100$. She said I would get that In 30 to 90 days. She told me she would call me when it was ready for me to pick up the check. I was also told the money that was to go to the federal debt would be put in escrow and I could try and get my federal debt lowered and to call her to let her know when she could release it. Obviously that was not what she did. I am fine with it being sent but it is the point that I couldnt trust my own attorneys word. My main issue now is where is the 2100 that I was suppose to get?

      Morgan and Morgan has not addressed the issue and they did not answer my complaint. The answer they gave did not answer the complaint I made.

      Called Morgan and Morgan for a slip and fall which they ranked number one on ****** an entire week later I receive a call from them telling me that they could not take my slip and fall case and they could not tell me why over the phone that they would just simply send me a letter
