The contract was created in October, 2023. It has been a year and I have received no offers. This agreement cost me over $7,000 and I have been contacted only a handful of times. Each time was either to reduce the price(Which I did.) or to speak of a upcoming show. None of which benefitted me. The biggest disappointment and complaint is length of the time between contacts and the lack of communication. When I have called they are reassuring that it will sell, but they couldn't even rent it for one week! I guess this issue starts from the top. My familys stress, time, and effort should account for something here. I hold this company accountable for its lack of professionalism, and I just want my money back. They have no problems charging and asking for payments in a timely manner. The job should have been completed in a timely manner. I want to hear from someone in charge who can get this done without any further delay. Thank you.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Resort Cancellation Services hasn't offered anything, but showing a copy of the agreement itself. I didn't receive one single offer. I reduced the price every time I was asked. They couldn't even rent a week. This was a pitiful attempt to sell my timeshare and very little contact with me after they received the money.

On November 15, 2023 I received a call from this company offering to sell my time share. Although I was reluctant I fell hook line and sinker for their lies. I paid over $4000 for them to ****et my property. Months went by and I heard NOTHING so I called and was told theyve gotten interest but no offers. I continued to wait. At the 6 month **** I called asking about a possible refund since I heard nothing and was told they would continue to ****et my property at no additional cost. In August of 2024 I received an email suggesting that I adjust the sale price since my property has generated interest but no offers. I agreed to reduce the selling price by $10,000. I have heard NOTHING since. I will be waiting until the 1 year **** to contact them again requesting a refund though Im not confident that I will receive it, but feel that this company and all the others like it should be exposed for fraud and taking advantage of innocent people.Business Response

Last summer we paid Resort Cancellation Services $1800.00. They claimed they could get us out of our timeshare by reselling it. Now a year later we have not received any offers and no luck trying to get a refund from them and still stuck paying my timeshare. We would just like our money back.Business Response

I paid this Resort Cancellation services $10506 rent/sell my timeshare on September 16, 2022 I was promised that my Timeshares would be rented or sold. To this date, I have not heard back from the company with any updates about my property or received any offers since I paid. I was told my property would be rented/sold quickly since they have multiple events they put on to sell timeshares. I've requested to have a manager return my call regarding this issue and no one has contacted me. I have NEVER received 1 offer for rental or sale of my timeshares. This company is a big scam and the Authorities need to get involved.Business Response

On February 29, I spoke with ************************* at ******************* from the Resort Cancellation Service. He assured me that he could sell my timeshare within a specific timeframe or provide a 100% money-back guarantee. Despite contacting the company multiple times for updates, they consistently reassured me that they were working on it. However, when I contacted the company on August 13, 2024, they suddenly claimed that the refund timeframe had expired. Prior to this, I had clearly communicated that if the timeshare did not sell within 30 days, I expected a refund. They never disclosed a specific timeframe for our agreement. In subsequent calls, the company consistently provided scripted responses, claiming that potential buyers were interested and undergoing financing checks. The company's actions have contradicted their initial promise of a 100% money-back guarantee, and they have failed to proactively communicate with me throughout this experience. We paid the company $1,998, which we want refunded.Business Response

Resort Cancellation Services contacted us about a timeshare we were looking to purchase. They seemed legitimate because they have a website, however it seems they have just scammed me out of about $5,000. On first look there are good reviews and bad reviews, which is normal for a business, but upon closer inspection, ALL of the good reviews are five stars and each "person" only has one or two reviews on ******* The people who reviewed negatively have more reviews, leading me to believe they are real people. I, in good faith, listed my timeshare with this company, but they continue to call me and ask for more money, even though I am the seller. I am not sure why, with all the negative reviews on BBB, this business is still allowed to steal money from people. After the initial "listing fee" which I should have realized was a scam, they have continued to ask for more money. Today they asked for an ADDITIONAL $8,000 with the promise that I'd get the original amount back. When I said I didn't have that much available, they said "how much can you send today." A legitimate business does not operate in this manner.I want my money back, all of it, immediately. Please advise.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. I am not entirely sure that the two "businesses" aren't working together, since there are so many people in the same position we are in. However, I understand that I won't get any money back from Resorts since technically the money was given to a different company. I am accepting the business's response.

I received original notification from the BBB and was told not to respond until I received a Complaint number. Which I received yesterday, May 27, 2024. Odd that that was the ten-day window to respond, MEMORIAL DAY, national holiday. I am responding today because this doesn't hardly sound fair, holiday taken into consideration. I will open another complaint. ************ did not respond from the information that is provided in this current complaint.
What was ******* from Resort Cancellation Services response?

On 01/04/2024 ***************************** from RCS contacted me via telephone with an offer to sell my timeshare. I was convinced that I would be helped through the process. I was given a personal phone number along with a bunch of empty promises. I was told that the property would be sold in ***** days, well it now 04/11/2024 and I have only been contacted twice by ******************** and once by a customer service rep only to tell me that the property is being show cased and to reduce the selling prices. As of today no offers have been made on the property and I just received a phone call from ********* and she too mentioned the same thing. I was told that RCS would help get me a refund from a different timeshare exit company that was a lie. I submitted all the necessary paperwork to the recovery department never heard anything regarding that issue. There's a lack of communication and services with RCS. I went on the website just see if the property was listed and it wasn't, so I'm not sure if the property is really being marketed or not. I was told that RCS was accredited with the BBB and it's not. I'm asking for a refund in the amount of $1998, due to lack of communication, misrepresentation by RCS for marketing.Business Response
