      We have owned our Hilton Head time share for over a year. So far we have not been able to book a week outside of our home week in 2022 or 2023 either via the app or via phone.

      If you are expecting Hilton Grand Vacations to be worthy of a positive review, think again. We reached out to the SVP of Sales Operations demanding to be released from a contract with the company that was totally based on false information, omissions of documents, and information required by law to be disclosed. The salespeople spent their time spinning tall stories and over valuing a massively overpriced product, that no one can accurately explain how to use. We were told we would have the ability to, "use the timeshare any day of the week, any time of the year for the remainder of our lives,"; and it would be significantly cheaper to travel with our large family of eight using a timeshare. The problem is there is hardly any availability and when there is, it's not somewhere you would want to go. Scottsdale, AZ in July anyone? We attempted to confront the main salesperson that "pitched" us, on multiple occasions to address all the fallacies he pitched us on. He ducked our calls and went out of his way to avoid contact. This is not the behavior of an honest salesman, or someone who has conducted business in an ethical, legal manner.

      I was called out of the blue and experienced a predatory selling experience. Based off the reviews here I would not want to purchase a property. I also am reconsidering my future hotel choices. I never had these issues with Marriot.

      My experience and the other reviews are compatible with Hilton's having made a decision to buy a competitor & drain it, and are doing a good job. - just a summary impression from: an invoice seeking $10,534 maintenance fee for 2023 due soon so resolution required; an phone offer/interview that declined my request to record, ignored my pre-discussion requests and informed mid-way this was a one- time offer, ending in none of the potential values re possibilities to pass on to family that I had requested info on. (copy available). My wife & I have co-morbidities that increase risk of chronic/fatal Covid such that we have not felt safe to travel electively. We were assured concierge support to inform our (well-off) 'kids' & grandkids what they could take over from us but the concierge refused the contact. We've been assured we could request relinquishing all value to our platinum level purchases but may have pay a fee for each of our multiple contracts. After such closure it is unclear whether we(family/friends) would retain any value from ~ 40k residual paid for points & 2 months reservations in Sedona in 2023. The website offers chat - which agent closed us out soon after stating my interest (copy available), and a call button but no response to that button copy available), so no such access; agent says our platinum advisor can help; she assured referral to the right office will be busy but will offer a call back; after 20 minutes the announced wait time was 86 minutes, no call back offered. Other responses indicate I might hear from a Team member but no indication re resolutions. Is class action a possibility?

      We attended a 6 hour presentation before we purchased our HGV time share. One of the things that was very attractive to us was the fact that the maintenance fee "would never go up." We are about to pay out 2nd maintenance fee and it is $40 higher. When I called they stated it will most likely go up every year. When I buy something I don't like to be lied to. Give me the correct facts and then let me decide if I want your product.

      We own two properties at Hilton grand vacation they both come with owners lounges that were supposed to be provide breakfast and evening, wine and heavy appetizers. It has been two years and neither owners lounge provide the contracted services. When you speak with Hilton grand vacations, they say they don't have anything to do with it. It is both of those facilities responsibilities.

      I had high hopes when I learned that Hilton was now responsible for Diamond. So far, though, I can't tell who is worst. I know that Diamond is the most incompetent but Hilton takes the top spot for greed. I have been trying to get out of my timeshare for more than 3 years. I hardly communicated with. Diamond is CLUELESS and Hilton doesn't respond. So...it's just evil leading the bad. I was supposed to talk to Diamond "rep" in the middle of November and after setting up phone appointments twice at the beginning of November...they didn't show up. They are horrible. Stay away.

      My husband and I purchased a timeshare in 2016. After closing costs and fees, it was $14,620. My husband passed away this past year. I inquired about selling the property and was told the current market price is between $1,000 and $2,000, with the broker receiving $500. I also had to recently pay the yearly assessment of $1,519.19. I'm very upset, but need to get rid of this albatross asap.

      Sad to say, I am a Diamond owner. We just visited the Modern Honolulu Resort and attended a presentation on 12/11/2022. During the presentation we were shown some resorts that we would be able to visit. We were told that our Diamond points would be combined with HGVMAX points if we purchased more points. After listening to the presentation, we bought 3840 points for a bi-annual contract to the Ocean Tower Hawaii. We arrived home on 12/13/2022. On 12/14/2022, I tried contacting HGVMAX, HGV, Diamond, Hilton Honors, the sales representative and the contract manager. Not a single response, I was finally able to have an online chat with an HGV rep. I told her I was browsing and wanted to schedule a stay in Puerto Rico for sometime in 2023, she said that I wasn't able to use my Diamond points to make reservations. Even though HGV and HGVMAX are Hilton, they are separate departments. She stated that my Diamond points would remain the same and I can only use my 3840 for HGVMAX resorts which have limited resorts. I immediately signed and faxed my cancellation later to cancel the transaction. Please do not believe anything they say, it's all a lie.

      I am an owner at the *********************** resort in New York, NY. *************************************** sent me a written Notice of Penalty and Interest, with a requirement to pay $693.08 that the property owner/grantor (Hilton Resorts Corporation) should have paid, but didn't. As a timeshare owner and grantee, NYC now wants me to pay the bill. Apparently, Hilton made a property transfer and NYC charges a transfer tax for that. I called HGVC and they referred me to Portfolio Services at Hilton Resorts Corporation, and they said that they couldn't help me. They told me to call the 48th Street resort directly. Are you kidding me? This is a dispicable way to treat an owner! The Hilton Resorts Corporation is fully responsible for ALL taxes, and absolutely none of us owners should be receiving any "city" tax violation notices!
