Possibly the worst customer service of any company. Have owned this piece of crap for over 20 years. Trying to transition out. It will be worth $1000 to be done with these scammers. They will not accept a divorce decree stating I am the owner. Had to locate the ex after 17 years and get her to sign off. Now they refuse to resend the paperwork. I can't even get anyone on the phone now. 65 minute wait in a que is ridiculous. Hire some more people. Your message says my call is important. Your reps are here to help. You sure don't act like it. Would give a negative star if I could. Don't bother with the generic message - we are disappointed to hear this was your experience. I am extremely unhappy with thiaon and got caught up in all the lies. I should have known since this has become a reoccurring pattern for Diamond...and now Hilton.

I was then told I had to complete a credit application with my income of only $60k per year, which they noted, would not be enough for it to go through. They proceeded to do a credit check without my authorization. I wasn't allowed to take the paperwork back to review, then asked if I could at least have copies of information from the presentation and once again, the answer no.

I will attempt to amicably resolve this directly with your company, but there are other avenues I will take should we not reach a satisfactory conclusion.

We thought Diamond Resorts was bad until they were sold into Hilton Grand Vacations! We had been Diamond owners for about 10 years and had numerous issues with them; failing to disclose maintenance fees, not properly disclosing the availability of reservations, and misrepresenting the transition from an owned week to their points-based program. Several years ago, we brought our concerns up in a Diamond meeting and were told that our issues could be corrected by upgrading our membership to Gold level. Instead of fixing our issues, we were saddled with another $60,000 contract, much higher maintenance fees, and could only travel to Las Vegas! Not what we were promised by their salesperson! We were excited at the thought of a reputable company, like Hilton, taking over our membership so that we could finally get the usage that we had been promised. In 2022, we attended our first presentation with Hilton Grand Vacations. The pressure to purchase at this presentation was EVEN WORSE than it had been with Diamond! The HGV staff assured us that upgrading into their system would solve all our booking problems. Instead, they clearly took advantage of us due to our age and forced us into more debt with the same problems. This is clearly elder abuse! We thought a name like Hilton could be trusted, but we were clearly wrong.

My girlfriend and I mistakenly booked a stay at a Hilton without realizing we had to go to this timeshare meeting. We were honest about it but still went to the meeting.

Upon arrival our salesman, Ahmad, was very generous and welcoming. He shook our hands, got to know us, and seemed genuinely interested in our stay.

However, his mood quickly changed when he realized we weren't interested at this time in buying a timeshare with HGV. This wasn't a strict no, but it wasn't something we were ready to commit to, even though we said down the line we could be interested.

Ahmad had to go get another salesman to try and schmooze us. Terrible business gesture. No means no but they both kept trying to sell us, especially offering lower rates that nobody even told us about.

When the meeting was over both of them acted like little babies and stormed off, WITHOUT shaking our hands or thanking us. This to me was so incredibly rude and disrespectful. Clearly HGV only cares about people who give them thousands of dollars. So funny how quickly the mood changed when they realized we weren't moving forward.

These people also assume you're going to buy it. Rather than asking if we are interested, they instead say something like, "So we can do the deposit now and go from there."

Incredibly bad experience, especially for a company that claims they treat their customers like family. Yeah, news flash - if you have deep pockets that's all these suit and ties care about. I've never had an experience this bad before.

For anyone reading this, don't buy into this circus. Complete waste of time muddled with tiny fine print they don't tell you until the credit card has been swiped. HGV - you need to teach your staff to treat customers with more respect and candor, even if they don't make a sale that day. 10/10 would not recommend this to anyone. Get an ****** instead!

Marty from Wisconsin. Like the rest of you I have also been scammed and am embarrassed about it. I bought this year and was given a document that said my maintenance fees would be about 881 with a small possible increase due to inflation. I've recently received my statement and it says my total fees are $2074. I just bought this time share 60 days ago by the way. There are all kinds of additional fees which the sales people intentionally failed to disclose at the time of sale. The purchase review statement that they had me initial on every paragraph also failed to disclose these other fees. They are hidden away on a flash drive that is in an envelope that they ngive you( with many other things) at the conclusion of the transaction which is 412 pages. They don't tell you about these additional fees because no one would buy the product at those prices. By the way, one of the documents on the drive( 90 pages long) states in bold letters to read it before you sign anything. Funny how you don't see this before you sign. We were at the beginning of our vacation and had no laptop so we had no ability to review until it was too late. We also thought the drive in the envelope contained pictures and descriptions of resorts we could stay in, not critical legal documents. It is beyond outrageous. I thought Hilton was better than this. If Hilton won't fix their sales staff and fix things for those who've been scammed, then the world needs to be informed to prevent more abuses.

Over the weekend I witness the biggest Legal scam of the century . I could believe the lies and deceit by the sales person on Saturday at the Hard Rock in South Lake Tahoe . My fiancée already had diamond timeshare and signed a new contract with HGV 45 days ago the salesman said that was a problem now she had two contracts one with Diamond and one with HGV and would have to pay double the Maintenance fess totaling $9800 a year for both contracts but he could fix that for her but she would have to buy another 8,000 points at $24,000 then he would eliminate the other two contracts and her maintenance fess would only be $1400 a year . Got back home 3 days later read the contract from October and did more research and he lied about everything , so today she sent in Her 5 day cancellation notice for the contract over the weekend . BOTTOM LINE YOU CAN"T TRUST THESE PEOPLE ! its said that Hilton allows this type of business to go with their name . I travel for work and stay at Hiltons all over North America at least 30 times a year and Hilton always treated me good so I was supper shocked that they are apart of HGV and allow lies and deceit to be a part of the sales experience . I will never stay at a Hilton again and I'll be just staying at Marriott properties

Too bad for Hilton Grand Vacations, they now OWN, officially all of Diamond Resorts shady, unethical practices. One can only hope that they shut down their despicable sales practices. We have reached out to Hilton Grand Vacations corporate headquarters with NO RESULTS. Some of our story sounds like most timeshare stories you can easily find when looking at Diamond reviews online. LIES about availability, exclusivity, refinancing (not an options), dream vacations, and one of our personal favorites - rental income to offset fees (that were never fully disclosed from the get-go). Somehow, we still thought that someone would at least try to do right by us. They have ZERO customer service, they DO NOT care, and apparently don't need to. They are firm in their belief that there is another sucker right around the corner. As a military family (Zachary is retired Navy) we expected to be treated with respect and honesty, instead we were subject to the blatant lies told by Diamond Resorts Sales Team. This has resulted in our family being left with heavy emotional stress in addition to the financial challenges is presents. We suspect the Diamond will bring Hilton's name down to their level.

I wanted to be thrilled after we converted from Diamond to HGV Max. Not long after what I guess will be our last "Diamond" trip to Oahu that was a 5 night stay including air fare from when we first bought into Diamond Resorts, I was contacted by HGV on 11/9/22. The man (whose name I stupidly neglected to write down) said he could do 5 days/4 nights in one of a handful of locations including St. Martin. I told him I wanted to go to St. Martin. He said it would cost $599 + tax. I asked if he could do a longer trip, 8 days, 7 nights, and after a pause he said he could and for the same price. I got a brief text that said 5 days/4 nights and I thought that since that was their standard package it was just a mistake. I decided to wait for the confirmation email he said I'd receive. It never arrived, so on 12/7/22 I called and explained the whole situation and said I'd never received my confirmation email and the text was showing the wrong duration. I was told they do not know who sold me the package, but all calls are recorded. After a lengthy hold they came back and said they couldn't "do it" and even if they could they wouldn't be able to provide his name. I said, so he gets to lie to me and take my money and has no consequences? Silence. They refunded my money but that's a horrible way to run a business i.e. no accountability. I'm stuck with them now so I hope they will improve once the Diamond integration/conversion is further in the rear view mirror.

I realize that Hilton is a big name and all but I feel completely scammed. I was sold on a trip back in March and additional bonus points were offered if I booked within a few weeks of purchasing. So I called and made all the arrangements well in advance and the lady said I was all covered and she'd personally take care of us. I thought all was well but then I keep receiving email messages asking me to choose my dates. I went through that with their web system a couple of times just to be safe but then I received another email asking me to choose. This time, I call and find that nobody had ever reserved my reservation, I'm out those initial bonus points and I'm now supposed to wait a few business days to see if they can get a room for my family (I paid extra to upgrade to accommodate my wife and kids). I asked for a refund and was told that I cannot receive one. I asked for a supervisor and was told that I cannot do that either. I said I had no confidence in this process and I'd really like to take that track. Once again, denied. Now I'm supposed to fly out and sit in on a sales pitch to buy a timeshare? I already know my answer but I'm not even sure that I'm going to receive anything at all for this purchase. It's sad that this is how customer service works now. You can't book anything with any guarantee that you won't just be out money.

We have owned this time share for 20 years. Have never missed a maintenance fee payment. However all the promises of how wonderful these points are and the beautiful vacations they promised it never seems like any are available when we try to go. Or the latest problem when trying to book in San Francisco had to be 7 days. Always a catch. We went on two time share events in the last 3 years for 3 days in NYC and 2 days in DC. Oh and had to pay a short stay fee in NYC for what I don't know we had no one come and make the bed or bring towels ect. So I've paid over $6000 for a 5 day stay in New York and DC. I have lost points because I am unable to spend them. I have tried to call and I have never been able to talk to a person yet its been a month. Stacy Sanders left one voice mail but never returns my calls. I am beyond aggravated. I have tried to get into the HGV in Hilton Head ,Stuart Florida, Captiva, Colorado on and on and on. I am not even looking for specific times I am looking for availability and there never is any. I am tired of supporting the Hilton Corporation in this scam. What a joke I have to leave a star because they deserve no stars.
