DO NOT Purchase this time share whether it is Diamond Resorts or newly acquired Hilton Grand Vacations. I feel foolish being involved with a company that took advantage of me over several years of ownership. I consider myself a relatively intelligent person, but they really took advantage of my wife and I with their deceptive sales process and promises. Recently in July we were offered to turn our points into Hilton Grand Vacation (HGV) points. They are expert sales people that reassure you that they will assist you with any issues you have with maintenance fees and that HGV would take care of us. They reassured me that things will be better. I was already in pretty deep with points (I am embarrassed to admit how many) so my wife and I committed to HGV. We were hoping that we could enjoy the program during my upcoming retirement. Soon after our commitment, but after the 7 day cancellation period in early August , my wife was diagnosed with End stage renal failure and congestive heart failure. Since we can no longer travel and use the timeshare due to dialysis and reduced heart capacity or for that matter afford it now with our medical bills we are trying to get out of the loan, and give back our points. We have called several times and have been rejected/denied being allowed to exit our commitment until we pay off the loan which we can no longer afford. We are now looking for legal representation.

I put a deposit down while on vacation with a woman who was outside of hotel selling vacation packages to Hawaii in November 2019 in Orlando. I was not told it was non-refundable and this was pre-covid pandemic so I had no idea of the horror my life would become. I have a medical condition that if I get sick I WILL DIE so I called to cancel my trip and get refund at the start of lockdown and they told me I could not cancel but offered extension. Things took a turn for the worse months later so I called to cancel again and asked for refund they said I could get another extension. Hurricane Ida destroyed our home in August 2021 and still they would not allow any cancel or refund. I just called today and they tried to squeeze more money from me saying that I could pay for extension even though I said I cannot travel due to my medical condition and also I just started working and cannot take off 6 days to take a vacation! When tragedies happen or you are down on your luck they do not care! My medical condition I have NO CONTROL of and I told them in beginning of pandemic I will never be able to travel again! Also in November 2019 I received an email saying I paid my deposit of 399.00, balance due was 0.00. On November 28, 2022 I got same type of email saying paid 399.00 balance due $402.68! I would like my refund back.

I have tried to talk to Hilton directly, but they continuously push my concerns to the side. I have not been able to utilize the vacation at all. The times or locations never work out, and the only available stay would be for a random weekday selection that is simply not feasible. Financially, this has been nothing but a strain. Paying for something on a monthly basis that I may or may not be able to use once per year is pretty morbid. Hilton sells you a dream, but the reality is nothing like what was promised. I'm only taking losses here, and I no longer want to be a part of this company.

If you have a previous ownership with a timeshare, do not upgrade!! Do not attend the meetings!! This has been a nightmare to deal with. We previously had a timeshare with a different timeshare company before Diamond Resorts took over. Diamond told us we had to switch. At every presentation, they have pressured us to upgrade. We heard the same lies in every presentation; we could receive more benefits, lower fees, more places to travel, etc. THEY ARE ALLOWED TO LIE. Diamond does not take any responsibility for the sales people. We have brought our concerns to Diamond's attention many many times and they do nothing!!! I'm sure Hilton will be the same. Timeshares are a SCAM!

If I could rate lower I would , my review probably doesn't matter and feel punked even leaving a review, this hast to absolutely 100% be the worst resort I've ever stayed at at this point. This is comparable to a low end days end only highlight is the Hilton don't fall for it , just save your money and go to the low Star hotel about the same I know from experience I've stayed at many hotels in daytona on a1a, the laundry rooms are flooded with water, no soap in laundry room, told me to check other laundry room after I took my journey their long walk across the so called resort, guess what no detergent. So after all that I haft to seek a local laundry service outside of the Hilton, the resort, is full of black mold, their is visible mold and water damage thruout entire place just look above, after one day of my 3 day stay my sinues are severely affected, when I leave here I'm going stright to the walk in clinic. If you have sinus issues Plan to wash your clothing Care about your family's health I would probably recommend going elsewhere This place is a joke

Diamond Resorts has made it a habit to engage in incredibly shady sales practices that carries on through Hilton Grand Vacations! At 75 years old I was first duped into purchasing a timeshare with Diamond in 2018. When I received my first maintenance bill, I was shocked and attended a meeting 2 months later to express my dissatisfaction with the fees. They convinced me that upgrading would eliminate maintenance fees. I made 7 other attempts to lower or eliminate my maintenance fee, but continuously I was swindled into upgrades with promises of lower those fees.! I finally attended a Hilton Grand Vacation presentation and was told that Hilton has a different approach on the dues and fees, I should convert to HGV and leave DRI. Believing that now I would be officially with HGV, I signed again. I am now 80 years old and have only debt to show for my attempts. Their salespeople are what we use to call snake oil salesmen.

No stars - had to leave a star to post this review Buyer beware Diamond Resorts took advantage of me and my husband on my birthday in Las Vegas. They promised us free things and tricked us into signing up for a credit that they maxed out before I received the card. They also convinced us to sign up for a worthless timeshare telling us we could use the timeshare to travel all over the world for free. Lies! There are hidden fees not disclosed and every time we tried to book a stay we were told they did not have a resort on that location. We we tried to book a hotel through them using our points, the price was higher than if we booked the hotel on our own. We have tried to get out the timeshare and they want us to pay the timeshare off to leave. Pay for what? They have already scammed thousands from us and want us to continue being their victim. Don't trust Diamond Resorts or Barclays that is who they use to open a credit card dishonestly in my name. Barclays said they are aware of hundreds of complaints against Diamond Resorts for doing this, but stated there was nothing they could do. I disagree. If you are aware of the complaints and unethical practices, yet you continue to do business with them, you are aiding them in their unlawful, dishonest practices and you are just as bad as the company you are assisting.

I travel a lot and have stayed in Hilton properties almost exclusively. Usually average over 75 nights per year. Also use Hilton Amex card but this ended after I was scammed by their Hilton Grand Vacations presentation. I am a handicapped senior and we attended a presentation in Las Vegas. Of course they make everything sound so great and one of the pitches is that you also get to go to all the RCI locations. We like to travel to all inclusives in Punta Cana so this was a great benefit, we thought. The salesperson stated that all we would have to pay was a "minimal" all inclusive fee. We stupidly purchased the package. 10 days later we get an email to set up our account. Upon setting up the account I then researched various all inclusives in Punta Cana. Imagine my shock to find out that the "minimal" all inclusive fee is actually hundreds of dollars more than the total package if I go to the resort site direct. That's right - $16,000 to end up paying more for the vacation than booking it direct and not using. Great deal - right!!! I then called to cancel and they said I only had 5 days to do so and they had passed. Keep in mind I didn't get the email to create account so I could review until 10 days had past. All this to tell everybody to stay away and don't get trapped like we did. I use to really respect Hilton but for them to do this to people is a real breach of that faith. Bye Bye Hilton and hopefully whoever is reading this will stay away as well.

We have been owners with Hilton Grand Vacations for nearly 10 years with very little to show for it. We initially made this purchase because we were told BY THEIR STAFF that this would be a great way for us to continue to travel in our retirement years. This could not be further from the truth, the locations we would like to visit are seldom available in weekly increments despite our continuous attempts to book a reservation. In ten years, we have tried numerous times to book a reservation and have only been successful twice. If this, the rising maintenance fees, the inability to give the property back or the unbelievable cost of this ownership had been properly disclosed to us at the start, it is unlikely we would have purchased this time share. Instead, their staff took advantage of 2 seniors, one of whom is a 100% disabled veteran. Truly shameful! We believed that with a name like Hilton they could be trusted and instead we are stuck with this terrible nightmare which appears to have no end.

We received a cold call from Hilton Grand Vacations regarding a stay at the Elara resort in Las Vegas to discuss our Grand Pacific timeshare. They assured us it would be a brief 1-hour meeting. That was a lie; it was instead a 4.5-hour high pressure sales presentation that was more like a hostage situation than the meeting they claimed. That was only the first of many lies and cover-ups. They told us that upgrading now would buy us valuable points that increase in value over time. Not true -- these points have no value! They ran 3 different salespeople at us, each applying different high pressure sales tactics. We even had one tell us we were "bad parents" if we did not buy the points they were pushing on us! They were a bunch of con men! They opened a credit card in our name but assured us the high interest rate would come down, it did not. Now we learn that everything you do within HGV requires the payment of fees. They charge you to make reservations, transfer points, every action has a fee! Avoid these scammers, they will defraud you and ruin your credit in the process. We reached out to them to be released from this fraudulent contract, but they have ignored our requests
