Complete scam was lied to from the beginning. From the maintenance fees that are double what they said they would be to the so called point system and the 1000s of locations all over the world which theres never any availability anywhere you want to go. Nothing but a financial burden from misleading sales **** that stare you straight in the eyes and lie to you knowing what they are about to do to your financial situation. Dont trust anyone associated Hilton

When booking a one night stay at a Hilton hotel, we were weaseled into becoming Hilton Honors members. That wasnt enough. They then weaseled us in with a grand and refundable $200.00 stay at any of 22 locations nationwide for 3 nights and 4 days. We accepted and decided on ******* to bring our son to ******. Then Hurricane ****** hit ******* days before we left so we almost cancelled but were then again, swindled into rescheduling. We reschedule for December. We then find out I am pregnant and high-risk so no traveling. I explained this to a Hilton secretary, *******, and shes trying to pressure me to just rebook at a later date within one year from October 12th. We will not be traveling with a new born, especially to ************. She then stated that cancellations with refunds are not allowed when I was told otherwise to book initially in September. Whether that person lied, wasnt trained correctly, etc. I feel its odd to charge for a service that isnt provided and that was cancelled well over 30+ days before. Buyer beware. I have my credit card company on it now and will not be using Hilton hotels any longer. Very scummy way to attempt to trap people into their timeshares.

Diamond Resorts is making unfair demands regarding my timeshare. They insist I pay $5,000 to cancel the contracts, plus maintenance fees for a property they will just resell. This feels hugely unjust. The idea that I should shell out thousands more for something they'll profit from again adds an unnecessary financial burden. I believe this practice is unethical and leaves consumers like me in a tough spot, trying to navigate expensive and seemingly endless obligations.I is important to hold Diamond Resorts accountable for these practices and ensure they treat their customers fairly. I hope this brings about the positive change I've needed after months of back-and -forth.

I had booked a trip to ********* through one of your HGV promos for 3 days and 4 nights for $129.99 from Oct ***** in a studio. They did a total bait and switch. One of my buddies considered coming in from **** to join me so I called and spoke w *** ******* was my concierge rep. ** informed me if I call back I can upgrade to a one bedroom w a couch so my friend could stay. This was perfect as I called back a couple times and they had the an availability in my original hotel which was the Hilton grand vacation in ***** on the strip.I was all excited for my trip and experience ********* and check out your property. Sure I had to do the 2 hr promo timeshare but figured it was worth it.After my arrival to the hotel we saw that *** had booked only one night and while standing in the lobby my reservation was cancelled.WHAT!!! Literally 15 mins after arrival cancelled, I spent 2 hrs in the lobby of the hotel trying to ensure I had a place to stay. I was told I had to speak with the promotions **** as the HGV on the strip had no more rooms. The person on the phone said they could do one night at ******** and then the rest at ***** and while not idea and not where I wanted to be it could work but asked about payment for my expensive Lyfts as its not where I wanted to be. I was offered ***** pts for Hilton Honors which I still cant access. And does no good if I dont ever stay at. Paradise is not on the strip so $20-$30 Lyfts just to get anywhere. Instead of being on the strip where I could walk All to be giving ***** pts!!! Also was told a supervisor would call me well Im home and still no call and was told HGV takes it very serious and still no email or call from anyone. This is ridiculous, unacceptable and Im speechless that Hilton Grand Vacations would do this especially if youre trying to get me to buy a timeshare. Not enough room to call out the additional thoughts and issues.

Hilton Grand Vacations are scammers. They pressured me into buying a point system vacation. They did not disclose that most of what you would be booking is truly Airbnbs and not a Hilton hotel room. They didnt disclose this was a timeshare either. Most of the places they have for someone to book are far away from the airport. They showed me different hotels that I could book just to lure me in and also told me I could book a 2 or 3 days vacation which this is false you have to book a 7 nights vacation, all of the information they provided was false. I tried to cancel and sent numerous letters and even spoke to someone, but they kept telling me youre too late you cannot cancel. They never disclosed the timeframe in which you needed to cancel. Also, even though I sent letters in the timeframe that was stated on the document they said that they did not receive it and they would not cancel my membership. They should have some kind of telephone number or email that customers can use instead of sending a handwritten letter to an address that who knows if it truly exists, this is how they get you so you cant cancel your membership. Never got a response back. It shouldnt be this difficult to cancel a contract that you were falsely pressured into and given false information about. They take your money and make you open a credit card account in order to pay without truly knowing if the person can pay. I just want to cancel my membership. This is a nightmare! This is not a house or condo, is not even a property that I will own why do I have to keep it for life. I WANT OUT! False advertisement, information they provide is all false, misleading information, so why cant I cancel? This is not a property I would own why do I need to keep it. Its confusing and misleading. Based on All lies I want to cancel and be release of any future obligation. I do not want to keep this membership. The review should be a 0 but it wouldnt let me choose it so Im forced to give a star

If I could give them negative to zero stars, I absolutely would! They will sugar coat their packages to you, thinking you will get a good deal on their packages just for two hours of your time when you visit one of their properties. I bought one of these packages and was told a detailed e-mail would be sent, but it was very generic and not only that, but the so-called "manager" even left his "number." I wasn't ready to schedule a date and advised that I would call back when I had a better idea of my schedule. Within a day for the past 6 weeks, I've been nothing but harassed by their marketing team several time a day and numerous times a week. I even told the last three representatives, I was not ready to lock a date in and I was getting tired of the harassment, they said they put me on a "do not call list" and notate my account which they did not and it continued. One of them even sent an email that just had his name email and who he was with... that's it! He wasn't even pleasant to talk to. Upon wanting to just cancel my whole transaction due to the harassment and no longer comfortable with this transaction, HGV refused to get me a manager, told me it was non-refundable because they're paying for the additional cost of the visit (mind you no dates are booked and no costs are accured-only lost is my deposit). Not getting anywhere with HGV, I called my card company who's filing fraud against them due to the sketchy circumstances of their practices, canceling the card used, and going after them since they did not want to corporate to begin with. What we also found interesting is that they claim they do not issue refunds, but their responses to reviews here state otherwise! I HIGHLY SUGGEST NEVER BOOKING/PURCHASING WITH THEM AS THEY'RE SCAMMY AND THEY WILL HARASS YOU AND WILL REFUSE TO REFUND YOU AND GET YOU A MANAGER!

We're sharing our recent ordeal with Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV) to give you a heads-up if you're considering a timeshare with them. It all started innocently with an invitation to a sales meeting at Club ******** for a supposed discount on a hotel stay. Long story short, we walked out as owners of a timeshare at ********** in *********, thanks to what we now see as manipulative sales tactics and emotional pressure from their team. Our sales **** ****** **********, used personal info against us, which felt really invasive. Plus, crucial details about perpetual fees and penalties were conveniently left out of the contract until after we signed. They also conveniently "forgot" to mention closer HGV properties in *******, steering us towards ***** instead. Surprise bills started showing up, adding insult to injury. If you're thinking about dealing with HGV, be super cautious. Their sales tactics are shady and definitely not above board. We hope our story helps you avoid the same mess we're dealing with.

We found ourselves trapped in a deceptive timeshare agreement with Diamond Resorts, and we feel compelled to share our experience to help others avoid a similar fate. Our journey began innocently enough. After attending one of their sales events, we were tempted by promises of free trips to ******, a cruise, and a getaway to *****. We thought we were signing up for a vacation point system, but it soon became clear we had committed to a timeshare agreementa realization that left us feeling misled and frustrated. The sales event was far from professional. The atmosphere was overwhelming, with loud music drowning out conversation. We asked for a quieter environment, but the representative's emotional breakdown only added to the discomfort. We spent four hours there, feeling more like it was an endurance test than a presentation.Since getting involved with Diamond Resorts, we've faced numerous issues. The ease of booking vacations was a facade, as the process is cumbersome compared to other services. Plus, maintenance fees have accrued rapidly, leaving us with an unexpected financial burden. Our attempts to cancel the timeshare have been met with resistance. Despite trying to cancel within a reasonable timeframe, we were told we missed the cutoff by just one day, leaving us feeling powerless..We urge potential buyers to exercise extreme caution. The allure of free vacations is tempting, but the reality of a timeshare can quickly become a nightmare. We ask Diamond Resorts to consider our circumstances and terminate our contract, issuing a full refund for any payments made.We hope our story serves as a warning. Do your research, read the fine print, and be wary of offers that sound too good to be trueespecially from Diamond Resorts. Your financial and emotional well-being may depend on it.
