An absolute ripoff, complete bait and switch. Do business with the Hilton Grand Vacations at your own risk. I was able to limit the amount of money I lost to them to $167 dollars, but it easily could have been into the thousands. Don't buy into all the smarmy "oh, our customers are so important, etc" nonsense. They are in business to get as much of your money as they can extract. I will be cancelling my Hilton's Honors membership, sharing my experience with every traveller I know, and will stay under a bridge before I walk into any other Hilton property, ever.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

What a scam! I regretted falling for the '4 day/3 night' pay up front promotion to visit one of their vacation timeshares. I understood that I would lose out on the $200 if I did not book within a year. That's o.k. My fault for giving them my credit card information. I then receive an email, several months into the 1 year timeframe stating I 'still had time' to book my vacation getaway and to 'click here' to see if my preferred travel dates were available. Well, just for kicks, I punched in a date. I find out, by picking the date, I was actually booking it. I received no information that just checking to see if a date is available would mean booking it and now, if both me and my spouse don't show up for their promotional 'buy a timeshare with us' bull, I will be automatically charged the full price of the resort per night. This is so unacceptable. I stand to lose hundreds because of false advertising, or I should say, lack of information. I am yet to contact them because I have read nothing but bad reviews. I can't imagine what they have done to my stellar credit. I am a Hilton rewards member of Gold status and I will never stay anywhere with the Hilton name associated with it again. When you hear the word, Hilton, RUN!!! (away, not toward) Zero out of 5 stars but it was not an option.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Parc Soleil property in Orlando. The sales staff was unfriendly, abusive, and rude. The phone customer service agents are rude and unprofessional as well. I expected more from Hilton Grand Vacations. It was truly disappointing.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I purchased a vacation package 2 years ago (basically paying upfront and booking 3 travel experiences in the next 5 years). Despite trying to redeem the package multiple times, they never answer at the number provided and never call back. They also rarely respond to emails. It is basically impossible to redeem the package.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I received a call from Hilton with an offer for a deal on a trip to Las Vegas or Miami for a low rate ($99, 3 nights and 4 days). I attended this presentation during the trip on 10/27/18, it was the beginning of the trip when I went to the presentation. They stated they wanted to speak and tell me information regarding a "vacation package". I was in a separate room by myself with these salespeople for 4+ hours. If that may sound like a great amount of time to include and go over details of the purchase, you are wrong. It was like there were zero cons to this purchase, they made it sound perfect. They wanted $14,000 for this; the required down payment was $2,500 which they opened an American Express credit card in my name to run the down payment on that card. They convinced me on all the "savings" I would have on future vacations. That was not true and is not true, it is cheaper to book a vacation without this timeshare rather than with it. That is why this timeshare was never used by me or my family. They kept reiterating how me and my family would enjoy this so much, but that was and is not the case at all. This has caused more debt/burden than anything. They charged $14,000 for this timeshare, but NEVER shared to me how the timeshare was worthless. The IRS values these at zero dollars, so when they stated you could use this as a write off, that was false advertising. They made promises that were not true. They left out information that is in the contract that was never told to me. When reviewing the contract, it was rather quick, they stated where to sign and initial with a brief review and not many details to what I was signing. Such as I didn't learn until afterwards the maintenance fees rise 8-13% with no notice to me. I was very overwhelmed finding out the truth to this timeshare. I received the notice of foreclosure with a balance of $13,455 the notice stated within 30 days the account would be going into foreclosure, it has been well over 30 days and nothingHilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

he staff at Hilton Grand Vacations in Las Palmeras held us for FOUR HOURS and used our discomfort against us so that we would purchase a timeshare. We have spent about $20,000 on a timeshare that we are not able to use. In 2018, I had received a flyer saying we could get a free vacation at a Hilton Grand Vacations Resort. In the end, we ended up being manipulated into buy a timeshare. How is this ethical?? Communication with them has been awful, but they're good at taking our money. We don't recall having signed a deed but somehow still obligated to pay an additional $11,000 to this predatory company?? When we tried to reach out to them, they never responded. How can they be getting away with all of this? UNACCEPTABLE!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

Fraudulent scam! Complete lies! We bought 15k points for $2500 to sample their properties , we were promised member status and all this utter ** and nothing was delivered ! Not a single property is available to book during winter 2022-2023 way into april ! Nothing available even 8 months before travel date! Even though if you look on Hilton websites there are hundreds of properties you can book for $ or Hilton credit card points even cheaper than the worth of points we paid 2500$ for. So basically we paid money to be locked out of vacation completely ! I could order anything for December to January with money very cheaply yet I can't use points we prepaid to be used for vacation time they promised! Class action lawsuit and jail time for utter Criminal fraudHilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I am filing complaints with corporate office and every consumer agency I can find to warn people of the HGV scam. Not only are the "sample" points useless , we were told that once we book 3 nights with our sample points we will be able to " unlock" more properties. So for months we were looking for a place for 3 nights during lowest season of august in Florida. Finally a 3 night availability came up in Ormond beach the Cove. Even though The Cove was 90% empty and available to book through any website, HGV did not have availability to book with our points. We went to this property last week only to be shocked at the condition of room we were placed in. The place was literally decaying and mold covered. The furniture and walls stained , the toilet broken and clogged sinks. This is a property I would not pay a dollar to stay in, yet even this awful Dump was hard to come by. Then the scam continued as we were made to attend another mandatory lecture . When we complained about the condition of current property and the useless points , the representative had the nerve to tell us that we need to pay more to upgrade so we can get more availability. Is this some evil joke? I am stuck with 15k points I paid $ 2500.00 for that are absolutely useless and they will expire in a year with no availability to book anything ! And I am told to buy more of the same so I can see more properties? What happened to the promises of 15 K points so I can sample the "huge" inventory of properties since Hilton bought thousands of diamond properties ? What happened with "opening up more properties" after we attend the mandatory lecture during are first 3 days of sampling ? Another grandiose scam is they don't tell you that in order to use your 15 k sample points you need to pay another $ 20-45k to get "full benefit" of program! So entire lecture the "salesman" was trying to get us to buy more of these useless points with little regard for our current complaints. When I demanded the money back, the salesman laughed, and said we never do refunds! Then he blatantly lied that HGV did not sell this package to us. That's another atrocious lie as we attended the initial lecture as Hilton guests I'm March 2022 at mystic Dunes resort and the entire pitch was about the huge amount of inventory HGV acquired from Diamond resorts ! So HGV owns this scam and the liability from the fraud they perpetrateReview fromPatty M

If I could give a half star I would. What a huge disappointment. As a Diamond member I would expect better customer service. We purchased their vacation plan and then requested a refund in February, due to a number of concerns. It was approved and allegedly a check was mailed to our former address in March. Three months later a replacement check was allegedly issued and mailed to our correct address. As of today, still no check. All I have received is lip service. Is the Hilton so poorly managed they can't issue a timely refund? I can see why their rating is so low. What a huge disappointment. But like others, I won't give up until I see the refund I was promised.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

The lip service continues. I noticed that is an automated response to every complaint made. I wonder how many others haven't received contact from the "Club Counselor" as you indicated. I haven't heard a word and still no refund. I guess the only way to get the attention of the Hilton is through legal means. Maybe a class action suit as well...?Review fromJulie S

Don't fall for the lies! My family has owned for over fifteen years and I would highly recommend that you NOT purchase with them. The quality has become less and less and it is very clear that they only care about the money. It is impossible, IMPOSSIBLE, to get reservations! Extremely frustrating to have points and not be able to utilize them.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I'll make this quick and easy, unlike Hilton's sales presentation. We were told we were going to a "one-hour" presentation, which turned into three hours, to purchase REAL ESTATE, not a timeshare. Just in case Hilton did not know, TIMESHARES ARE NOT REAL ESTATE. They told us things like: 1. We would get a deed as proof of property ownership at Elara. 2. We would receive points that could be redeemed for use at Elara or other Hilton properties. 3. At ANY point, we could rent out our room as a form of passive income. 4. We were buying property, and we could sell this once its value appreciated. We refused multiple times before giving in and purchasing because of the amount of pressure. It was after we had signed the contract and the non-disclosed cancellation period had expired that we realized, all the reasons we justified the purchase turned out to be lies.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
