This place is rude came for an hour and a half and had family emergency need to go to hospital and also check out of hotel was told can't get the gifts or become a timeshare holder. I guess it boils down to hilton only cates about money and not the people. Emergencies happen but that's ok I'll continue to go to the hotel I have now they are better than hilton especially with people not about money and understanding!!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I am a Diamond International platinum member. Which has no benefits as I was told. I made a reservation thru them for a cruise. I asked to choose my cabin and dining time. I was told someone would get back to me. No one did, they were made without my input. I have spent, literally hours, on the phone trying to change what was done. Each call gets me transferred multiple times because I am told someone else handles that. One agent didn't even know there were different booking numbers, and told me I was wrong when I had them in front of me. Today I worked my way up to a supervisor who didn't even know the procedure. I was told someone will get back to me. I'm not hopeful. Bottom line: I would no longer recommend Diamond ownership.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

DO NOT BUY!!!! Don't even give them a star. We were lead to believe that we were buying into a "NEW" vacation program by Hilton, and that we would be able to use it to "Travel the World". That we would be able to stay at any of their (now ours) resorts, a 1BR suite, every other year, around the world. We would get 7 to 10 nights at any resort as long as we did not schedule over a holiday. We could break them up into, a 4 night stay (correct), a weekend get away, (if you use 3 nights), or a romantic night away, (untrue, must reserve 3 nights). We could convert ALL 5440 points to Hilton Honor points, spend $144 to convert, and get 1 night at Embassy Suites to cover that, because you don't get enough points for 2 nights. We can only stay at about 20% of the destinations, 50% of those are studios or 1BR Junior suites. It's going to take us several odd year rotations with rolling points ahead $$, and borrowing from future $$ to get to about 40% of destinations. Never get to Japan, but probably could have on the $20,000 we are spending on this "money pit". Don't believe them when they tell you that you get reduced rate with the Cruise lines. Same as if you pull up the Cruise Line site. They did say that you could covert your points though. 1 night at sea on a 7 day cruise. Where's the dinghy.... They said their maintenance fees had not gone up in several years, but reading these reviews that's not the case. Bait and switch, you betcha. They said that rates don't increase for "special events", but scrolling through the Destinations, points needed change, with no holiday. Imagine that. Face it, we got had and I'm going to do my best to get out of this thing. Have made a reservation for next year. Had to use Club points (3 days) & Bonus points (3 days) for 6 day stay at Tuscany, my home resort. Called for help to do it. They were not helpful. One more thing. During the sales pitch, when they are talking, in my opinion, they are lying!!!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I was called and pitched what I thought was a great deal with a four day/three night stay with my family. I was told I would only need to attend a two hour sales presentation, and only have to pay approximately $400 with an additional incentive of bonus points. After arriving on time for my presentation, I was informed that I couldn't participate since my wife (who was with my kids!) couldn't attend as well. I am now potentially eligible to pay the full freight of a room charge, when the only reason I could afford to attend in the first place was due to their luring and seemingly misleading incentives. I remain hopeful they will be able to remedy this situation - as I arrived at the presentation in good faith - and I caution any other potential customers who may be cold-called and lured as I was. I am a long-time Hilton customer who is unfortunately unhappy with their questionable sales tactics. Brian S.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

After being an owner with HGVC, I can safely say that I want nothing to do with ANY timeshare ever again. The salespeople are abusive, I was deceived about what I was buying, and I am fed up! I should have never taken the free vacation they offered. During the couple hour presentation (not 45 mins as promised), I was shown graphs and charts that were difficult to follow. These were supposed to show the value of the timeshare and how it was so much cheaper than regular vacations. Yet all I've done is shell out money for something I can never use, mostly because availability issues. I was even promised I could stay in exotic places and Disney properties, neither of which are true. Another flat-out lie was being told I was purchasing real estate. I don't own any property, only points to use at properties. That is NOT the investment the salespeople said it would be. I have a feeling these details are why I was rushed through the contract. They didn't want me to catch the lies before I was on the hook for the contract!Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I tried being nice, but I was ignored. Now I need to take it to the next level to get Hilton's attention about my concerns and anger with their company. I wrote Hilton at the beginning of last month (June). It is now August and I have yet to hear a word from them. They lured me in with their untruthful sales tactics and now I am in a never-ending cycle of rising fees for something that is near impossible to use. Their "hour long presentation", turned into 4 long excruciating hours of high-pressure sales tactics that ended up wearing us out. I would have walked out had they not taken my driver's license when I checked in. Everything they do is designed to hold you against your will and deceive you. I am a victim of their cruel games and they intentionally screwed me over because I am older. What they did was elder abuse, and I will not stay quiet until this all gets resolved.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

I had been a happy owner with Monarch for many years until they were purchased by Diamond Resorts. Diamond began calling me telling me about this amazing offer they had so I went to the meeting they had claimed was going to only take 2-3 hours. Instead, it was over 5 hours! This was not the worst part!! After the long hours of pressure to purchase, I finally agreed to sign, yet the sales staff made we wait for NEARLY TWO HOURS for the "paperwork to be ready", so I eventually just walked out. Approximately 2 hours after, I received a call apologizing for the inconvenience and offering to come to my house to finish up the process. This is so UNPROFESSIONAL and INAPPROPRIATE!! The amount of pressure he applied over the phone was absurd. I never called him back after, but he has continued to call me multiple times!! In 2018, I was called and offered a 3 day/2 night stay in Las Vegas as long as I go to another meeting. At the meeting, the salesperson gave me the same pitch again! When I asked for time to think and consider, they only gave me 15 minutes! Not long enough!! I regrettably signed and realized EVERYTHING they told me was a complete lie. My fees went up, there is no availability, and my points are not worth anything leading me to pay out of pocket if I want to book a room. Diamond lied to me for their own benefit. They do not care about their customers and I encourage everyone to stay far away.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

We are giving Hilton one star for several reasons. First, you don't need to own a timeshare to stay at the Hilton properties. You are welcome to book a trip to any location at any time as a non owner. You will also save on fees and monthly mortgage payments that aren't necessary. Hilton timeshare owners only get a small portion of the resort, so even if you can't get in with your points you are welcome to pay out of pocket and stay as a non-owner. This of course was never mentioned to us and we only learned this after we tried booking vacations. We feel like the sales people purposely misled us into thinking that we were going to be owners of something. Like this was a big investment or something and we have learned that is simply not true. We don't trust what anyone here tells us. Hilton claims they don't let you give back the contract or sell it to them. Again, this is not what we were promised by the lovely sales people. We are disgusted at the money wasted on the timeshare. We would really like our money back and for our sales person to reverse our transaction since they were not honest.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.

We are absolutely disgusted with this company. Hilton has me and my wife so upset that we have had to ask our daughter to help communicate with them. They're that frustrating. For example - Not only is the timeshare bad but I sent a letter and email more than a month ago and there has NOT BEEN ANY REPLY. They're bad at everything.Hilton Grand Vacations, Inc.
