      Not only where we lied to and mislead. Now it's like we are being held for ******. Just now 30 days in trying to speak to someone for days, weeks. We have offered to pay the ****** and asked for a deed back to them and this will more than likely not be happen. How can they do this to people. Bold face lie that this is not a time share, every phone # they provided to us is not the phone # to contact anyone who can help us. My husband is now having stress issues from being taken not only for ****** but the fact he has spent more than 15 hrs on the phone with these people, we have not used this at all and they push you off till you can not get out of the contract and now required for the rest of your life to pay even more fees. This is the worst experience ever in my life and the fact you are trapped for life and held for ******. The salesman even told us "don't tell anyone about when u get home wait till you can show them". Right wait till your window has closed to get out of this contract so we can take you for ****** and trap you for life. Between my disability the added stress is literally going to kill me and the stress this is causing for my husband they are putting us in a earlier grave. DO NOT BECOME THERE NEXT PRISONER.

      I am unfortunately a member which in my experience is a terrible deal unless your travel dates are extremely flexible, you can book 11 months in advance, and you don't care about inconsistent quality of rooms and amenities. My complaints 1. Limited locations and unavailability. I have been a member for 3 years and I live about 4 and a half year and have been unable to stay at the ********** location because it is always booked. In fact, I have had poor success booking at most of the locations I would prefer to visit with the exception of Orange Lake in Orlando. With more than 4 months in advance, I was unable to book **********, **************, or ************ for the months of June or July but I can go onto IHG right now and book the same rooms as a hotel guest. Also not to mention you are limited to staying at a select few locations across the country.2. Inconsistent amenities, if you first go to Orange Lake in Orlando for the sales pitch don't be seduced by it because none of the other locations have anywhere near the same amenities. For example, we just visited ************ and they don't even have 1 hot tub and the activities such as bowling and the arcade close down at 7 pm at night. We have stayed at both a holiday inn hotel and a HICV in *********** and my teenage daughters would much prefer the hotel because the hotel because of the lack of activity at the resort. 3. Inconsistent quality. The interiors of some locations are up to date but others look like they have not been remodeled since the 90's. 4. Poor value. This year I have booked 3, one week stays. If I booked the same locations and rooms it would run me about $5400. In maintenance fees and booking fees I paid $2375. That does not include the cost of purchasing a membership. Unlike booking a hotel, if I need to make any changes to my reservation after booking it cost an additional booking fee. And unlike booking with at a hotel, I do not earn points that can be used for future free stays

      Buyer beware with the Timeshare Presentation!The time allotment mentioned by the representative was only 90 minutes. Actually their Sales Presentation is 3.5 hours if you dont sign up and once you mentioned you are not interested they continue to push it with Senior Staff. The resort itself is nice however everything for the kids costs are additional for things such as the Lazy River Tubes, Miniature Golf, etc. Also the Logistics are very confusing and time consuming to acquire your daily activities wristband. We will come back however be prepared to blow an hour chasing things down at the resort. Stay away from the ********* as they are a poor investment.

      Avoid, avoid, avoid. This is a timeshare trap disguise as discounted vacation package. Lost $250 , better than loosing thousands of dollars and listening to high pressure sales tactics.

      In December 2024, we attempted to book our first new member orientation, after investing in Holiday ***************** in **********. This process quickly became a nightmare involving numerous calls, dropped connections, and confusion around using our points for booking. Once we arrived at the ********** resort, we discovered that the property had no entry-level rooms or elevatorsonly stairswhich made access extremely difficult for someone in their 70s with luggage.When we attended the new member meeting during our stay and expressed our dissatisfaction with the program and our desire to terminate the agreement. Instead of being supported, we were encouraged to purchase additional points to avoid future booking issues. Feeling defeated, we returned home without a clear resolution. In February we called *** once again about terminating our agreement. We were told that we could not be helped until the mortgage was paid in full. Our only other option would be trying to sell the timeshare on our own.Weve continued making our payments, though it has become increasingly difficult given our fixed income as we are fully retired. Booking availability has proven to be limited and complicated, with additional rules and hidden expenses that were never properly explained. We genuinely believed there would be a way to cancel this agreement if needed, but that does not appear to be the case. The trust we gave to these salespeople was taken advantage of. We were told that the company had a buyback program, which gave us a false sense of security and had hoped we would not need it, they need to honor these dishonest salespeoples promises!This experience has caused us significant emotional stress and has negatively affected our health. Protect yourselves from this predatory company.

      Beware of Holiday ******** Vacation Getaway offer. You are required to sit through a TIMESHARE PRESENTATION. Once I realized that I requested a refund 2 days later. I did not book dates or even try to use the offer. They refused to give me a refund. Can't give a 0 rating. Required to select a star.

Once I realized that I requested a refund 2 days later. The offer expires a year from, however I have no plans to book any dates or use this offer, because I do not want to sit through some timeshare presentation. It is a waist of your time and mine. I just want a refund.

      DO NOT FALL FOR THE **** THAT IS HOLIDAY INN VACATION CLUB! We have witnessed Misrepresentation of Benefits, Availability, Undisclosed and Excessive Fees, Undisclosed Special Assessment Fees, ****************************************************** Value all of which screams illegal. Then there is the Mandatory Inheritance, we were further misled about inheritance, as we were never informed that inheritance is not optional, meaning our children would be forced to accept the financial obligations regardless of their ability to pay. An actual illegal action taken was the misrepresented rescission period: we were falsely told our rescission period was only 24 hours, when Massachusetts state law provides 72 hours. This critical misrepresentation effectively denied us our legal right to cancel. Even more egregiously, we never received the public offering statement that outlines our cancellation rights, as required by law. During the sales presentation despite attempting to leave the sales presentation multiple times, the representatives continued to present more options to sell us on and we were unable to leave. When we finally relented, making a purchase based on LIES, the pain only doubled when we realized the lack of resale value: despite ****'s recommendation to sell our timeshare through ******************, where we paid $1,037.92 for a listing and despite lowering our asking price from $7,999.00 to $5,500.00, we have received no interest since listing it. We've also learned people are paying others to take their timeshares off their hands. This completely contradicts the "investment" claims made during the sales presentation and reveals the true negative value of what we were sold.

      What began as a dream vacation plan has become a financial nightmare. My husband and I signed with Holiday Inn Club Vacations in June 2022, lured by promises of affordable getaways to places like ****** and Universal. Two years later, we're drowning in debt with nothing to show for it.The salespeople painted a picture of easy bookings and manageable fees. Reality? Annual maintenance costs exceed $1,000 and virtually impossible reservation availability. When we try to use our points, nothing is available where or when we need it.The sales process was manipulative from start to finish. We were rushed through signing with "special offers" that would "disappear" if we didn't act immediately. Critical details about true ownership costs were glossed over. They claimed we could easily sell or transfer the timeshare if neededcompletely false, as we've discovered there's virtually no resale market.Our financial situation has deteriorated since signing. My husband lost his job and remains unemployed despite his best efforts. I've only recently returned to part-time work, barely covering our basic needs. To make matters worse, I recently lost my brother, incurring over $8,000 in unexpected funeral expenses that depleted our savings.Each monthly payment pushes us closer to bankruptcy. We've requested cancellation due to financial hardship and misrepresentation, but Holiday Inn Vacations continues to demand payment rather than offering any compassionate solution.I'm writing this review not just to warn others, but in hopes that Holiday Inn Vacations might recognize the human cost of their predatory sales tactics. A vacation club shouldn't leave families choosing between making timeshare payments or putting food on the table.If you're considering a Holiday Inn Vacations timeshare, please learn from our mistake. What they promise in the sales presentation bears little resemblance to what you'll receive, and once you're locked in, there's virtually no escape.

      Holiday Inn Club Vacations managed to turn a simple $299 vacation package in 2013 spiraled into an expensive trap. From the start, they used high-pressure tactics, bombarding us with calls warning we'd lose our money if we didn't book immediately. The promised "90-minute orientation" in ********* was actually a manipulative timeshare sales pitch. We were falsely assured that joining would save us "lots of vacation money" with "cheap vacations worldwide." Under duress, we signed for a $999 Florida package. The pressure continued until 2018, when we attended another "mandatory presentation" at Orange Lake Resort. This 4-hour ordealnot the promised 90 minutesended with us purchasing a timeshare for over $11,000. The salespeople, including their ****************** Officer," used car dealership tactics and even threatened us with additional charges for our current stay if we didn't sign. We were misled about property ownership, value appreciation, and booking ease. They concealed that maintenance fees would skyrocket and potentially burden our children. Despite promises of easy booking, we rarely found available dates and have barely used the timeshare in seven years. This entire experience has been nothing but deception and regret. We urgently need to terminate this contract.

      They lie to me constantly from a so called owners update meeting where I was told that my new payment would be $487 since the new point system I found out it would be an additional $487!a month then they said they were selling the Villages where I have 2 weeks paid off and no maintenance from Silverleaf days. They said they would move them to The Hill Country and nothing would change. Now I cant use my membership anymore because I owe Maintenance on them. Lied to me again. Dont do business with them. Also I found out they are selling more in *****. Now what happens
