We have reached out to Vistana 3 times to cancel our paid off timeshare. We were told to contact ***********************************, and when we did, we were ignored. Vistana has terrible customer service, along with terrible timeshare ownership. There are no true benefits and no reason for us to keep it.Vistana Signature Experiences

Despite the glossy sales pitches and promises made , my family and I have been left in a lurch, unable to utilize whatever we were assured would be a seamless and enjoyable vacation option tailored to our needs. From the onset, I have faced difficulties in scheduling stays through there website and over the phone. The process, which was sold to me as straightforward and user-friendly but attempts to contact customer service for assistance or to seek clarification on canceling my ownership due to these ongoing issues have been silent.. No one has reached back to me , leaving me feeling ignored and insignificant. The purchase process was an overwhelming experience, involving not one but two sales persons. Initially, One young gentleman approached me, followed by an older salesman named ******************. They worked together to paint a picture of timeshare ownership- highlighting the ease of booking a night or two anywhere in the world using points and encouraging upgrades for extra points to facilitate even easier travel. Yet, the reality has been starkly different from what was promised. I urge anyone considering a timeshare with Vistana to heed my warning. The glossy brochures and smooth sales pitches hide a reality far removed from the truth and what was promised. At this point, I am simply looking to terminate and be done with this contract. I hope my experience can serve as a cautionary tale and prevent others from facing similar disappointments.Vistana Signature Experiences

Our experience with the Vistana timeshare has been disappointing. Despite our efforts to exit, we're informed that it's impossible due to an open loan. The broken promises and limited availability have led us to seek cancellation. This situation has become a significant financial strain for us. Since purchasing our Vistana timeshare, we have encountered numerous issues that have greatly impacted our overall experience. We were initially promised flexibility and ease of use, but unfortunately, this has not been the case. The most concerning issue we have faced is the impossibility of exiting our timeshare. Despite numerous attempts to do so, we have been informed that it is not possible due to an open loan on the property. This has caused immense frustration and disappointment for us, as we feel trapped in a situation that we no longer want to be a part of. The broken promises made by the sales representatives have also added to our dissatisfaction with Vistana. We were assured of availability at top resorts around the world, but when it came time to book, we were met with limited options and high fees.Vistana Signature Experiences

All I can say is this place is a total scam. The salesperson that we had totally liked and misrepresented what we were purchasing. I am not going to waste no more time on this place. I will just let it go into foreclosure. Stay away From Marriott to anybody that is associated with this company because it's a total ripoff. as you can see all they do is copy and paste their responses to other people that are complaining and not coming up with a resolution for anything. uselessVistana Signature Experiences

I will tell anyone and everyone do not purchase any timeshares with this company!! They have put us in financial ruin. We had purchased a timeshare (Maui) and we told this was not like other timeshares it was like buying property that we would have equity in. Then a couple of years later our salesman reached out with an incredible offer only available to those that had brought into our specific location/property. We could add to our growing equity and double our points etc etc. We were extremely naive and trusted the salesman that we had worked with and became a friend. When covid hit and we had lost income we reached out to our sales rep and we were ghosted. We then reached out to Vistana and they were not willing to hear anything for us, they just filed a nonjudicial proceeding to foreclose. We were then hit with a 1099-C Cancellation of Debt at tax time and the "Fair Market Value of Property" was outrageous just where do they come up with this number when they just turn around and sell the "property" over and over again. The entire thing is a SCAM and I will make sure nobody else falls for this and has to deal with the financial ruin we are dealing with. If I could put zero stars I would. We are highly dissatisfied with the experience weve had regarding our timeshare and the misleading information provided by your sales representatives. During the sales process, we were assured that the only way to exit our timeshare contract was by selling it. ***********, one of your representatives, explicitly told us this was our sole option. However, upon researching, we discovered that timeshares have practically no resale value. Further investigation revealed that people struggle to offload their timeshares even for as little as $100.00! Given that the solution provided to us is nonviable, we find ourselves in a difficult position and are urgently seeking assistance for alternative options. We feel trapped and deceived by the situation, and we ask them to help us find a resolution to this predicament. Stay far far away from this scam. Properties are never available, you never have enough points, no one will ever contact you. In the sales pitch they state you can use these points at any property and in fact you cannot. They have numerous deadlines that change constantly. Its + 20 min when you do call customer service and you are lucky if you dont get disconnected. Maintenance fee have skyrocketed. I cant say it enough, STAY AWAY AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.Vistana Signature Experiences

I am writing to file a complaint against Vistana regarding the services provided for my timeshare ownership. Vistana's services have left me deeply disappointed and highly frustrated. Direct communication to the timeshare has been useless. Even after requesting to cancel my account, I still receive bills for club dues. They keep saying I have no options to cancel my account other than foreclosing or selling my timeshare. Why is it so hard to just let me out? None of these options are fair. I find no value in holding onto this timeshare, which has only led to growing debt. Their owner meetings continuously pressure upgrades, leaving me even more frustrated, and spending more money. They have not upheld any of the promises that were made when I purchased the timeshare. I strongly advise against getting involved in a timeshare agreement with Vistana for anyone considering getting a timeshare!Vistana Signature Experiences
