      We purchased a loveseat from Kanes. It was a power loveseat and they claimed that the furniture had a lifetime guarantee. We also paid for the fabric protection and they told us that free solution was always available at the customer service desk. NOT SO. We are Snowbirds and we're looking forward to this loveseat lasting us untill we were no longer able to come south. The motor broke and they were going to replace it. Apparently the manufacture no long stocks this item. Kanes offered to take the loveseat back and to give us an instore credit at 25% the cost of our loveseat. I fount the replacement on Amazon and it will be delivered in 2 days. The Kanes employee said Kanes policy had changed from lifetime warranty to 10 years. I did not get the notice. This was at Kanes in Clearwater. They would not even pay for the motor that I located. They have lost me as a customer. It is stores like this who force the consumer to stop shopping local. Buyers beware.

      We acknowledge our customer's feedback and apologize for any misunderstanding about the "Guarantee for Life" warranty promotion, which was discontinued March 2017.

      The lifetime warranty states,If a covered defect arises after ten (10) years from the date of the original purchase, you shall be *********** receive 25% of the purchase price for the furniture in the form of in-store credit.

      A motor in the loveseat purchased in December 2011 stopped operating, requiring a replacement.Unfortunately, the part is no longer available from the furniture manufacturer.

      Therefore, we offered our consumer a 25% in-store credit for the return of the loveseat, but our consumer declined and is pursuing purchasing online an aftermarket component. The loveseat would be deemed altered, and the warranty would be nullified.

      Our goal is to provide the best possible service to our consumers, and we appreciate the feedback.

      Perhaps better customer service would have been to advise customers who purchased prior to MARCH 2017 that the "Lifetime Warranty was now reduced to 10 years. The Service Technician had informed us that the motor was covered under our warranty.

      My experience with Kanes Furniture has been a total nightmare. I bought a Lazy Boy sofa and love seat. My salesperson was ***********************, I told him I was leaving next week for two months. He assured me they could deliver it the following Thursday and after checking with two 3rd party delivery people trying to have them delivered sooner, I had to wait until Thursday. When the set was delivered the arm on the sofa was all messed up and there was a big hole in the cushion. The next day Friday I went to Kanes *** said all he could do with a big smile is put it in the computer and maybe *** could help, but, she had already left for the day. I left the store and on my way home I received a call from a person called ***. when I answered he was SCREAMING that they were delivering it on Tuesday or not replacing it at all. I asked if they could have a 3rd party delivery service deliver it sooner. He said they didnt use 3rd party delivery services. I told him **** called two when I purchased them and **** flipped out SCREAMING I was calling him a liar. I had to hang up on him as he was so irate. He called back telling me I had two choices, either accept Tuesday delivery or they would send a repair person, when I returned. So I had to pay him $125.00 again to move the furniture. They set up a delivery time of 7:00am to 10: am. I called as my condominium association doesnt allow deliveries before 8:00am. They rescheduled the delivery for 11:00am to 2:00pm. I was surprised when they called at 7:30am to say the truck was on its way. Again I told them they couldnt deliver before 8:am. They arrived at 8:05am. I had rented a car to drive one way to ***** and had to postpone for one day at a charge to me of $85.00. I had to cancel my first night in the hotel and they charged me for the full night $232.89 for last minute cancellation. I couldnt believe *** called to tell me he was able to save me $70.00 dollars. Kanes cost me an extra $442.89

      Your incompetence and rudeness cost me $442.89 and your screaming at me was totally unprofessional. Kanes recognizes they arent providing good service by the fact that no executive is able to be contacted by any means. Sadly I didnt know what poor merchandise Kanes sells.. I can only post everywhere I can on line and share the expensive ****** I learned. The entire nightmare has shown the importance of researching a company before you buy. Im glad I brought it to your attention, but, your empty words doesnt get me my loss of $452.89 back

      I am unfortunately having to move from my present home to a manufactured home. My current furniture is too large to be able to move to the Manufactured home. I therefore had to start looking for all new furniture. I have to be out of my house on Nov. 29. 3 days ago I went to Kane's Sarasota, had a very nice salesperson and purchased $6,000 of furniture strictly for my living room so I would have something to sit on and Company would also. Today I got a phone call telling me that my recliner would be delivered approximately 7 AM on the 28th. I will not be moved in by then and where I am moving is approximately 1 1/2hr. drive away. There is no way I could be there by 7 AM. it is a totally new community so I do not know anyone there. Person who called was quite rude and told me I needed to just get a neighbor to go to the house to let them in. As I said to begin with I don't know anyone and I'm not going to ask anyone to do that at 7 AM. I asked him about the rest of the furniture and was told it was on backorder and probably wouldn't be delivered until after Christmas!!!! I would never have purchased this furniture had I known it would be that long. I was told it was on backorder but expected in next week. I am now going to be without living room furniture for more than a month to say the least during Christmas in which case my Christmas plans have to be cancelled. I had intentions of furnishing the rest of my home from them also but that is not going to happen. I can not believe that a business who brags about being such a wonderful business for a very long time in Sarasota can treat their customers this way. I bought a lot of furniture from Salon and was always very happy. The change of ownership was certainly not beneficial. I would like to know how BBB and show Customer reviews average of 1.13 stars but rate them as an A+. There is definitely a problem with that. My suggestion anyone thinking about purchasing from this store is. . . .don't!!

      We acknowledge our customer's feedback and apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the merchandise purchased from our company.

      The sofa and loveseat were backordered from the manufacturer and out of stock at the time of purchase. Our consumer chose to arrange for November 28, 2023, as the delivery date for the remaining pieces that are in stock. The original sales receipt that our consumer signed contains this information. Inevitably, the allocated delivery window, did not meet our consumers needs, so a new date has been chosen for delivery. We are happy to announce that the sofa has arrived from the factory and will be delivered with the other goods.

      Unfortunately, the loveseat is still backordered. Our consumer will be notified as soon as it arrives. Again, we apologize for any dissatisfaction that *** have been experienced.

      We have reviewed our customers comments regarding the sofa they purchased from our company.Although we are sorry to hear that there is a problem, we disagree with the comments.  

      Kane's Furniture LLC works with ****** ******************** to take a proactive approach to pest control.****** provides skilled pest control management services for our organization,including our distribution center. The brand-new, factory-sealed sofa was received at our facility on March 14, 2023, from the manufacturer. It was then delivered to our consumer on March 16, 2023. Before this was initially reported to our organization, the sofa had been in the consumers home for 4.5 months.Obvious indications of an infestation, such as bite marks, eggs, excrement,etc., would have become visible before July 2023.

      We thank our consumers for their input, which allows us the opportunity to analyze our practices to better service our valued customers.

      We were sold a product that says as is which we understood but omission of a malfunctioning motor on a recliner power chair is not acceptable. My 80 year old husband was sold a recliner chair that worked in the store but when we got it home it did not work. We paid $385 and they told us it was an$800 floor model but not that the power motor was malfunctioning. This is not acceptable business practice.

      The power recliner was purchased "AS IS" and picked up on July 7, 2023,as stated by our consumer. On July 22, 2023, it was reported to our office that the recliner wasnt operating. Kanes Furniture LLC offered to send a service technician to evaluate the product at no cost as a show of goodwill. Regrettably, our offer of assistance was rejected as our consumer had communicated that they had disposed of the recliner. We value the opinions of our consumers, and we believe this issue has been addressed.

      Kanes delivered to my community. The drivers stopped their truck at the entry exit point of our community. Hung out the window yelling and waving to my wife who was outside laying out next to our pool. Called Kanes, was promised a manager would contact me, never did, waited a week, called and demanded an answer. Was given the answer of “an investigation will begin and we will not notify you of the outcome due to privacy policy.” I was forced to choose a star rating to initiate this review therefore I’ve begrudgingly given it a 1 star.

      October 2021 I bought a Leather Sofa and Loveseat from KANE’s Furniture in Port Charlotte. After receiving the furniture within a short timeframe the right arm of the sofa where I usually sit the padding on top of the arm broke down and I was leaning on a piece of cardboard. Because of family issues and some health issues on my part I was unable to contact Kanes. In July of 2022 I contacted Kanes and reported the issue. The serviceman came out inspected the arm and had them order a new arm. The first one came in to small the second was the wrong one. Finally received a new replacement for the entire right arm in February 2023. After replacing the arm , the next day the padding broke down again. Went to the store to complain. Spoke with Mark and he stated that the sofa is defective. Cooperate offered me $125.00. But no fix for the sofa. Mark also told me they have 10 more of these units coming to their store. Which are defective. I’ve heard nothing from KANE’s on a solution to this problem. I was treated great while buying the furniture. After the complaints I don’t exist. They want me to go away with still no solution. There is absolutely no damage to the sofa , it still looks like new except for the arm. Sad this is how you’re treated after you spend hard earned money.

      Save yourself a headache, do not buy from ****"s furniture in ******** **, if you ever have a problem with the furniture you bought from them they will not help you at all, they just want your money but do not care about your satisfaction as a customer. I rather pay more next time and get better furniture that will not chipped within one year of barely any use, I was given a phone number for furniture repair from a CORPORATE MANAGER that she got from yelp for me to call and get my furniture repaired. Incredible that they rather loose customers than offer a decent repair job that cost them barely anything, I was not looking for anything free.

      Kane's Furniture warrants to the original purchaser at the original delivery site that the merchandise will be free of defects in workmanship for one year from the date of delivery under normal use and conditions. ************** confirmed that the reported damage to the dining room table was not the result of a manufacturing defect and is not covered under the warranty terms. In an effort to help, we provided our customer with the contact information of a third-party furniture repair specialist who may be able to assist further. Kane's Furniture does not perform for hire furniture repairs.

      I bought a reclining sofa and in less than a year a wood broke I called the Ocala store and they didn't help me at all the KUKA brand is made with cheap material don’t buy at Ocala store bad customer service

      I purchased a sectional in February 2022 which consisted of two recliners a wedge and a chase lounge the two recliners from the back are uneven and the lower flap does not line up at the bottom which looks terrible, when the technician come out in November to review the situation they said it was the way it was manufactured. They said the floor model was the same way. When I asked for a replacement or repaired they said they would look into it and call me back. They never returned my calls. I called many times but got the same answer, they are talking with the manufacturer. My last phone call a week ago there answer was the 1 year warranty ran out and there's nothing they will do. *************************
