  ****** was very respectful throughout the process of receiving my husband's body until I received the cremation urn back.The only thing that could have been better was the size and quality of the flag case I received. It was way too small for the flag I received.

  They did a great job in a very tuff situation and even picked the prefect temporary box without any input. They were very available and answered questions quickly and completely. would highly recommend this service.

  Amazing people. Neptune Hospice for ***** area are the most professional people. They were comforting, great listener and friendly. Always here on time. When my husband passed, one phone call and within 20 min a nurse was here. She was awesome, called Neptune, and they were here in 25 min. Two very nice young ladies, sweet & caring. Even know my husband was gone, they treated his body as if he was still alive. Unbelievable. Special shot out to our nurse ***. I don't know what I would have done with out her. Again, THANK YOU the ***** team. I would also like to recognize the team in the office. Again, very professional and caring.

  My mother prepaid in ****. She explained to me that when she passed I would accompany her on the Neptune Societys boat to scatter her ashes. In **** I prepaid for mine. My mother passed and I was shocked to learn that after her cremation, only employees and several other remains, would go out and scatter them. The only thing I would receive would be the coordinates. That very much upset me. Because of that, I chose to receive rashes myself so that I can scatter them and be a witness to it. Im deeply disappointed also because it was my understanding that my loved one would be able to go out and scatter my ashes. I completed all the paperwork on 9 ***** and just received her ashes on ******. I was also shocked to find out they subcontract the cremation process. I now am going to see if I can qualify for some type of refund or least partial refund for myself, and possibly my mothers. My rating of them is based on my trust and someone else doing the correct thing, and I dont have that feeling with this company.

  We highly recommend the Neptune Society in Jacksonville. They were caring and gracious while being attentive to every detail. They guided us through a very difficult time with dignity. Each step was clearly described.

  Learning of my beloved mothers death was anticipated after a long illness, but still was extremely heart felt. The Neptune Society services was pre planned and executed without a flaw when the time came. Their displayed expertise was professional and calming as all related business was taken care of.   Terrible service! They "forgot" to place orders for our keepsakes, gave us said keepsakes with someone else's ashes in them, gave us a ring with someone else's fingerprint on it, delivered my dead fathers "DNA kit" (blood, fuild from his eyeballs, and pictures of his dead body) because it has been "sitting in a safe for several months" and no one had any idea what to do with it. (So "oh, I'm sure the grieivng family would like these morbid pictures and internal fluids from their dead loved one's body!"). They never called when they said they would. I had to regularly email/call for updates. It's been 6 months and, though it was done incorrectly, I only just received our last item. They made so many magical promises in the beginning, but this process was an absolute nightmare! No grieving family should have to go through what we just went through.

  From the moment we signed up with Neptune, to the ending of my husbands memorial service, Neptune was there. I cannot express adequately, how supportive and genuine ******************* ******* was! He was always available to take numerous calls from people who were helping me, and ones I made to him. Patience and kindness emanated from this gentleman. Also, appropriate humour interjected here and there- so helpful in relieving stress. My family was impressed also. I will be sharing my experience with family and friends in recommending using Neptune for their final decisions.

  My Parents signed up with Neptune many years ago. We lost Dad 7 years ago and Mom 5 years ago. I cannot express how well Neptune took care of them and us in their final days. Everything was taken care of for us, giving us the opportunity to grieve them without the stress of their final arrangements. I can't say enough how appreciative my brother and I were for Neptune's service. Everyone there was very professional, compassionate and knowledgeable with all services provided. Now at 64, I am planning for my family's arrangements. Not as soon as my parent's foresight but with great relief that we will be well taken care of when the time comes. I e-mailed Neptune several weeks ago and was contacted by their representative Lynn R.. Lynn walked me through all of my planning, explaining every service with compassion and I must say patience as I had many, many questions. As of yesterday, I have the peace of mind that we will be well taken care of with dignity, compassion and respect. Thank you Neptune Society and especially Lynn R.!
