      This all began when my employer switched insurance companies on 8/1/2024. We had a visit several days after the insurance changeover, and my children's father did not update the office of the change in insurance, so they obviously submitted the claim to our insurance on file (Florida Blue) which was denied. I received a statement with charges applicable to this visit. I called Pediatric Associates billing and supplied them with my new insurance information to resubmit the claim. Fast forward several months, I receive an itemized bill from the collection department within Pediatric Associates. I called and was advised I owed $600+ on my account. They told me they would settle with $300; however, before I paid the amount, I double checked if they had resubmitted the claim for the August 2024 items since they were the items I "owed for" an the *** actually lied to me and said "yes, we submitted them to Cigna." I paid, and called Cigna, who confirmed that claim was never submitted at all. When I called Pediatric Associates back, the new *** advised that "they're sorry I was given wrong information" and they'd submit the claim to Cigna and I'd get reimbursed from Pediatric A. for overage once the claim was paid. Here we are now 2/4, still not claim resubmitted, and I am STILL out $383 so I will be disputing the ** charge.

      11.13.2024 Dear Pediatric Associates Team,I am writing to express my frustration regarding the continuous lack of responsiveness from both your ****************** and Corporate, specifically within the billing department. My children have been patients of Pediatric Associates for over 11 years, and while I value the care they receive, the difficulty in reaching your team is becoming a significant *************, I attempted to contact your office multiple times throughout the day without success. After sending an email, someone did return my call, but when I switched over to answer, they had already left a voicemail without providing an extension or direct contact information. Despite immediately calling back several times, no one picked up.This lack of accessibility has unfortunately been a recurring issue. Corporate, particularly the billing department, rarely answers the phone, and representatives often leave incomplete voicemails, which makes follow-up nearly impossible. When I have faced issues in the past, attempts to escalate them have been ineffective because there is no way to connect with the appropriate person.The barriers to communication are creating an undue burden on families like ours who rely on timely access to information and support. I urge you to address these issues to ensure that your patients and their families can receive the support they need without repeated delays.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

      They need to open up more availability for appointments and specifically blood work. They never put my son's blood work order in and I left work early from ********** to ************ for it after calling and speaking to someone who assured me that no fasting was necessary. I'd like to know for what reason I was told this and that everything was good to go but was not. I would have emailed the CEO himself but of course they make it difficult to get access.

      We had a couple of visits for our daughter who was born on *********. We paid out of pocket for our visits at the time of service. After the first visit, we received an additional bill and we contacted them asking them to correct the mistake as we did not authorize anything additional. After the last visit, more bills came even though we clarified we were paying in full before seeing the pediatrician. Again more additional bills came. Pediatric Associates now claims we *** $1074. This is not acceptable and after numerous attempts to contact them, we have had no luck in getting the issue resolved. Our experience with this company was one of the worst weve experienced with our children. We do not *** this company 1 *****. We will not support this company.

      Hello, this business charged me for services they didnt render. They advised me immediately to bring my son in for care, which I did. So, why would they charge me to tell me to come in?

      On September 14th, I scheduled a sick visit for my child at Pediatric Associates. My husband took him to the appointment, but unfortunately, he left without any clear instructions on how to manage our child's illness. We received no follow-up communication, such as a visit summary or care guidelines. When I later tried to contact the office, I was unable to reach a medical assistant, and we didnt have the ability to facilitate a telemedicine follow-up.This is now the second time my child has been seen by Pediatric Associates without receiving proper care or guidance. On a previous occasion, we had to take him to the hospital following being seen by Pediatric Associates, where the hospital staff expressed concern that the level of care provided by Pediatric Associates was not up to standard. Despite filing a complaint with Pediatric Associates after that visit, no corrective action seemed to have been taken. Given this repeated experience of inadequate care, I am requesting a refund for the most recent visit.

      Took my child in for a REGULAR WELL VISIT on January 15 (apparently my insurance wasn't active until February 1) which cost about $110 self pay. They told me that they will bill my insurance then a few months later told me that the insurance denied coverage since it wasn't active until February 1. They told me that I owe them $1300+ for a WELL VISIT (which is the amount that they charge the insurance companies). Now I'm fighting and going back and forth with the billing department to just pay the regular self pay amount which is what they should have done in the first place if my insurance wasn't active yet!! Why am 1 paying $1300+ for a regular doctor visit!? Today is September 9, my son can't go to school after October 10 because his shot records expire this issue needs to be rectified before then, this is absolutely ridiculous!! I've called multiple times and waited on hold for hours each time with no resolution. The absolute worst experience next year I will be changing my insurance altogether so that I can switch my children's care to a competent doctors office.

      On 5/20/24 my son was seen for a 18 month wellness check. They ran my insurance prior and stated it was good and to proceed with the appointment. Some 2 months later I receive a bill for $651 claiming the insurance wasn't good. Upon further investigation by me it was found the insurance was never instated and wasn't valid thebday of the appointment, despite them telling me it was. Because their policy is they charge before you receive services I argued they need to cut this bill. I should not have to pay for their errors on running insurance. I have since been given the rub around by 4 different operators on 4 different calls. The whole process is designed to make you not follow through. The hold time is a min of 45 min. They give me random numbers each time of the amount to pay and I don't even trust them to pay the total amount cause they keep pushing a payment plan instead whenever we reach an agreement on the amount owed. I feel like I'm bargaining in a market not dealing with a real company

      On 3/28/24 my daugher *** was supposed to give blood sample, we have had an appointment in the morning. We were at that appointment and they refused to draw blood because she was not insured. They told us to deal with labcorp directly. ******* did not breakfast because of the planned draw then we had to drive her to school and she was late. After few weeks i got a "statement" saying we have to pay 12$ for the "Drawing Fee" for her. I certificated mailed their main office about it, i opened 2 tickets, tried to call them after hours of waiting it was really anonyed. Its not about 12$ but their attitude to charge positions they have not fulfilled and misused our time! We ALWAYS been not-insured and self-payer, why did they even make this appointment to draw the blood? I refuse to pay even 1 cent to such a management. Account# *********
