On May 10, 2025 I was quoted by Allegiance Van Lines to move our stuff from **************** to my address in ******************* for the amount of $2397.16. I was ask to put down a deposit of $980 as initial payment and the rest to be paid before pick up date and after delivery. The pick up date was supposed to be on May 13th around 8 to 11 am but they keep changing time and also keep changing names of personnel to come for pick up. They also keep sending us text to add additional payment of $980 two days before pick up but I denied and also was told that the quote is not the final payment, that they are contracted by Allegiance Van Lines. I was concerned and kind of worried when one of the worker called me that the mover will not make it on time due to vehicle problem, the promised to be around 1 pm and then called me again that they will be at the house around 3pm, and then called me again that the driver will arrive in about an hour and a half, plus I was told that they are not going to do the move right away because they will take pictures to send to their Manager to calculate and make the final cost of payments. At this time I didnt feel comfortable so I told them to cancel the transaction. So please help us to recover the money that we paid in the amount of $980. ********, calls in and reserves a move 3 days prior to his move date. Why would there be any refund on a dispatched crew for service? As per the terms and conditions in which was agreed upon by them and our cancellation policy, there are no refunds. And the crew was still within their 2 day pickup window. Per the attachment you can see all of this. ESTIMATED PICK UP AND DELIVERY SCHEDULE: All pickup, load and/or delivery dates are only estimates and are not guaranteed. Allegiance Van Lines will not be responsible for loss or damages incurred by unavoidable delay. There are absolutely no guarantees made, expressed or implied regarding pack, load and/or delivery dates. Allegiance Van Lines Unprofessional Conduct and *************** To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Allegiance Van Lines regarding an ongoing issue with their moving services and the unacceptable behavior of their staff. The company has repeatedly failed to communicate effectively and follow through on their commitments. I was initially told that my moving truck would arrive on a specific date and time the following day between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. That day came and went without any arrival or update. When I followed up, I was told the truck would be there by the end of the week. It is now Friday, and the truck is still not here.Throughout the week, I made multiple attempts to get updates, but my messages and calls were ignored. When I finally managed to speak to someone, the customer service I received was appalling. A manager responded to my concerns by speaking rudely, swearing at me, and even telling me to quit my ******** and wait. Today, another representative continuously spoke over me, refused to listen, and ultimately hung up on me.This experience has been extremely stressful and frustrating. I have never encountered such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from a service provider. Allegiance Van Lines has shown a complete disregard for customer service and accountability. I strongly discourage others from using their services.I would like this complaint to be formally recorded, and I request that the BBB take appropriate action to investigate this matter. I am seeking resolution in the form of clear communication, accountability for their employees' behavior, and prompt delivery of my belongings.Thank you for your attention to this issue.Sincerely,***** *******Business Response

I am rejecting this response because I still have not had my items from my truck delivered and it is past the 3-7 day window of time they stated. They state that anything under the sun can cause them to be delayed up to 21 business days yet after repeated atttenpts to ask for the specific delay of my truck, they refuse to answer. They are incredibly rude every time I contact them. I will not take down my BBB complaint and I will make it my mission to inform everyone I know to never use this company for the poor customer service theyll receive.

I hired Allegiance Van Lines for an interstate move from ******** to ********. Their representative, ****, gave a low estimate without conducting the legally required physical or virtual survey or obtaining a written waiverviolating 49 CFR *******. He promised private transport, no shared loads, and 3-day deliveryall by Allegiance staff. None of this was honored. After we paid over $3,000 via wire (removing credit card protections), Allegiance subcontracted to ************************* without informing us. The carrier arrived early, doubled the quoted volume and cost, and refused to load until we paid over $3,000 more. Under pressure and facing financial loss, we had no choice but to comply. **** refused to help, put us on hold mid-call, and hung up during urgent discussions ( on a recorded line ).******** Brothers said they'd never done a move without an inventory from Allegiancehighlighting how unusual and improper this was. After pickup, Allegiance went silent. Delivery was delayed past the agreed date (April 18), with no updates. We were later forced to sign a Bill of Lading with materially different terms under threat of further delays. This experience caused severe financial and emotional stress. Allegiance misrepresented its services, ignored federal law, and abandoned us mid-process. Resolution Sought:Full refund of payments made Compensation for damages, stress, and added costs Written apology acknowledging wrongdoing Remove the Home Advisor Accolades from Website My full complaint can be found here: ************************************************************************************************Business Response

Unfortunately, these folks are confused and refused any visual survey and were price shoppers and knew better than us when it came to doing our jobs. We encouraged them on multiple recorded calls to allocate for more space as they had more items. They declined an in person survey. As you can see per the attachments their paperwork easily refutes all of their misinformation. It is unfortunate the consumer lacks accountability and things providing libel and slander is solid defense tactic. This matter internally has been closed. Please consider this answered.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The response provided by Allegiance Van Lines is not only inaccurate but further reflects the companys continued unwillingness to take responsibility for its violations of both federal law and basic ethical standards.
No Written Waiver of Physical Survey Provided: The business claims we refused a physical or virtual survey, yet no written waiver was ever presented for review or signature, as required by 49 CFR *******. This regulation mandates either a completed survey or a signed, written waiver prior to loading. Allegiance failed to provide either a legal requirement, not an optional courtesy.
Estimate Was Based on Misleading Verbal Assumptions: Our original estimate was generated solely from a verbal discussion and home square footage a method explicitly prohibited without a waiver. We were misled into believing that our homes contents would fit into 750 cubic feet. At no time did Allegiance adequately explain how volume was calculated, nor did they recommend a visual survey in writing. Verbal recommendations on recorded lines, if they exist, do not absolve them from failing to secure written consent as required by federal regulation.
Price Shoppers Accusation Is Baseless and Unprofessional: Labeling us price shoppers is a deflection tactic. We trusted the professional advice of the company and acted in good faith. It is misleading and offensive to imply that asking questions or relying on a companys assurances constitutes poor judgment on our part. In fact, we relied on the very promises made by Allegiance including private service, no subcontracting, and fixed cost ranges which were all later abandoned without notice.
Subcontracting Without Consent: We were never informed that our move would be subcontracted to *************************. This occurred only after Allegiance received 80% of payment upfront. This bait-and-switch approach is deceptive and undermines consumer rights.
Carrier Confirmed Lack of Inventory: ******** Brothers themselves stated at pickup that they had never done a move without an inventory provided by the broker further proving Allegiances deviation from standard procedure and regulatory requirements.
Slander/Libel Claim Is Baseless: This complaint is a documented account of our experience, supported by federal law, correspondence, and the statements of the carrier. It is not libelous it is a legitimate grievance.

The business is claiming that they have recorded calls and documentation to substantiate their rebuttal. I am requesting that the business provide a copy of a written and signed waiver from my wife or me related to the federal regulation I've stated. Additionally, any other unadulterated call recordings, call transcripts, text messages, and documentation to support that they have not violated fair business practices.

You also have yet to provide any factual basis to refute the illegal and unfair business practices. You have call recordings. Please provide them.Needless to say, this is still an open and ongoing issue with me and the DOT.

I am rejecting this response because: I am asking for justification for claims made against me. This business has a history on previous BBB complaints with making dismissive and non-descriptive comments. I have provided resources supporting the unlawful nature of this business's practices. It goes to show that my experience with Allegiance Van Lines (and the responses they've left) match others with the same experience.

I provided this company with a deposit via wire transfer. I was told I would receive my money back. They told me they could not wiremy money because the account I used to send them. I simply want the $1400 owed to me.Business Response

Ms. ***** spoke with our customer service department on numerous occasions.
The most recent was on 4/17, prior to that, twice on 4/12 and before that on 4/7 3 times. The problem is that Ms. ***** has not provided receipts for her supposed overpayment for our accounting department to be able to assist and continues to state that she has changed her banking information but would like a refund to an account she no longer has, if one is due.
We take every opportunity to provide great customer service, but there are times where the client does not make that a possibility. While Ms. ***** has continued to provide us with less information than we have requested on numerous occasions, we are still happy to try and assist. If she contacts customer service and provides the overpayment receipts so that we can submit to that department, the research can be done for anything that may be owed.
Thank You

I hired Allegiance Van Lines to move my ************************** an 50 boxes. No furniture. I contracted for 500 sq ft. They called the day before 4/8 and asked if I was sure I didnt need more space. I could reserve more but only pay for what I use. Ok The trucking company showed up on 4/9 with a U-Haul truck and was not prepared to take the bike so they left it and took only 50 boxes. Original quote with 500 sq ft was around 2600. It jumped to 4800 with extra space. They left on 4/9 and said it would take 1-3 days for arrival. On 4/11 and 4/13 the subcontractor called and told me I needed to send him $1991 for delivery. I have called multiple over the weekend and today: They just put you on hold. They wont give me a *** on delivery and now the subcontractor is saying because he hasnt been paid he is not delivering my items. Every phone #, text, email etc all goes back to the same person. ****** and **** will not help me. I would like my bill adjusted to the space that I used and I would like to receive my item s ASAP. They broke the contract when they showed up unprepared to take the bike. I didnt even use 500 square ft but am willing to pay for that even though the bike was included in that quote and they.eft it behindBusiness Response

The response from on Allegiance is very disappointing and unprofessional. I hired ALLEGIANCE to move me, they subcontracted with **** Moving. **** was not prepared to move my $20,000 Harley ******** therefore they (EZPZ) broke the contract. They took 50 boxes of my personal belongings and no furniture. The photos reflect the space that I used on the truck. They are refusing to adjust the amount of the bill to what was actually used. The subcontractor is calling me telling me I need to pay them if I want my items. The move was on 4/9/25. According to the contract they have 1-3 days for 500 miles and 3-7 days for 500 miles plus. Today is Day #6. No one will answer the phone. If they do they just put you on hold. No one can give me an ETA as to when the truck will arrive. I simply would like my things delivered and am willing to pay the ******* which I had to wire to a bank. They did not take the motorcycle and therefore I should not have to pay $4800. I have gotten nothing but the run around since the moment they pulled out of the driveway. I have perishables on that truck that they should be responsible for replacing along with my time and energy of fighting with a company that has no morals or standards nd should not be in operation periodCustomer Answer

My moving team showed up as late as possible on pick up day with half the people I was promised. The dispatch team never called me to let me know they were coming. I had to call them again and again, then when I couldnt get in contact which happened a lot, I texted their line where I was treated very rudely. The movers and the company try to negotiate separately so they are both asking for money and when I asked for resolution I was met with silence. Its now business day 10 of having nothing. I had booked w Allegiance van lines. I had been told movers would arrive Sunday 2/23. They didn't arrive. I called and was advised that was never the case. I was then told between 10 and 2 Monday. I received a text at noon stating they'd arrive at 6 pm. I found that odd. 6pm I got an update they'd arrive at 7. My husband had to go up the road to get them because they were lost. They arrive. No English spoken. They advise us we didn't reserve enough space. This had to be done thru a translator on the phone. We had to get a new estimate. It was outrageous but we had no choice. We had to wire it to Allegiance van lines. They pack our items in the ******** is now 2am. They get stuck in our driveway and my husband had to pull them out w his truck. It's now weeks later and I get a call that my items need to be delivered. I had agreed to a "veteran discount" with ****, the booking agent, of 30 days free w 65 a month after. They advise me that that contract is null and void since I signed papers w the movers the night they took my items. I said they spoke zero English and couldn't explain anything to me. They told me I owe the balance of 2k now. I had agreed previously that it was due upon delivery. Im now being told storage is 780 a month. Im to pay these amounts or I don't get my items.Business Response

****** was picked up within her 2 day pickup window by very hard working and efficient movers. Majority of her complaint is relative and has no bearing on services provided. She could have used ****** translate if the language barrier was such an issue. She was provided with 30 days of storage, a revised estimate due to additional items and services needing to be rendered. We are an equal opportunist with our employees and contractors and do not appreciate racist customers looking for full refunds and lacking accountability. Please close this matter, as internally it has been resolved.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
There were zero racist remarks. It was a fact that they did not speak English. I should not have to use ****** translate to communicate. Send a supervisor that can relay information and can explain through new contracts. I just moved to *********** where everyone speaks Spanish. So, clearly that's not a problem for me. What is an issue is that they couldn't find my house. They tried to call and I called back to explain where it was and they couldn't even answer to get the directions. My husband had to go get them. We saved you a tow truck bill at 2 am. When my husband towed the truck out of our driveway. Because they couldn't manage the truck on the ice. How is it appropriate to even be at a residence until 2 am?We specifically asked **** when we booked with him if he was a broker. He said NO. He also said he gave me this amazing veteran discount for storage of $65 a month. Knowing another company was going to pick our items up anyway and they were going to store it anyway.
The entire booking system was based on lies. I told **** ALL we had. Nothing changed. Yet when the movers arrived there was just not enough room.
Sincerely,

Allegiance Van lines contracted my move out to **** **************** Which holds both of them accountable. The driver was to show up on March 7th for pick up never arrived until the 8th at 3pm. I signed an agreement with Allegiance for $2925.90 on 2/20/25 and paid ******* on the 2/20/25 through ****** for 724 Cubic SQ FT a 24Ft Box Truck only holds 1500 Square Cubic Feet.I paid the driver the $838.00 through Cash App for the origin fee and signed the paper work through DocuSign. ( Tis is important as to when I signed the paperwork)While the driver was loading they call me to tell me I will owe them another $3850.00 for the extra space on the trailer. The Dispatcher **** said I had to pay the money or they would not take my belongings to MD, to which they gave me 6 different pay pals and Venmo to use all but 1 had been flagged through the ****** as SCAMMERS. Finally get them paid - and requested the paperwork be sent to me with the extra monies paid. Today 3/10 I get the paperwork with even more money being charged and I never signed the document but my signature is on the paperwork saying I still owe them $2464.41. I am being charged for 1724 square cubic feet when the truck only holds 1500 square cubic feet and more on destination and origin fees that I was already being charged. **** trucking service went into the DocuSign I signed and edited the document without my consent.Business Response

Hi ******,
We showed during your two day pickup window, you were called prior a few days prior to check on the update on services and items needed to be moved. You declined to go through your inventory again and said we did not have any updates. Come to find out on the day of the move you had over twice the amount of stuff as mentioned by you on the initial inventory. We will try to help you through this, but complaints and peddling misleading and misinformation online doesn't help much. This is borderline slander and defamation without cause. We ask you update your findings, and we will be in the office should you decide to contact us to go over your gross discrepancies

Ms. ******* is either confused or purposefully lying trying to recieve free items. I will list the facts and then it can be decided by the BBB. Ms. ******** documents have TWO ESTIMATED DATES. They were the 7th and 8th. As Ms. ******* admitted, we showed up within those dates.
Ms. ******* was provided documents to sign prior to showing up on site and on site when she signed off on the items.
Once Ms. ******** items were loaded on to the truck, after agreement and before we were aware of any confusion or lies, Ms. ******* disputed her credit card charge for services that have already been rendered. Not only is this dishonest, it causes an issue where we can not deliver any items, as services are not paid for. Please be advised that while he items are safely with the licensed and insured truck, this situation must be managed prior to delivery and all services must be paid for.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:1) I have the text messages from the company and forwarded them all
2) The agreement was signed on the after the ****** was paid on the 8th
3) The agreement was for 7th pick up not the 8th.
4) Calling me a LIAR is unprofessional and untrue
5) The latest text says the overage was due to my couch - WHICH IS STILL SITTING AT MY HOUSE in ********
6) I have NOT Disputed anything with my credit card company - They have received $5100 in total and all their lies and dishonesty has lead to this point. I have the receipts from my bank account. I do not use credit cards.
7) I signed the Docu Sign and ****( dispatcher) Went into the document and edited it without my knowledge. This is why I download and make copies of EVERTHING and 2 different versions were sent in this complaint.
8) I have attached more screen shots of yesterdays conversations

Date of Incident: Sunday, January 19, 2025 I am filing this complaint to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by *************** Name]. The issues we encountered were numerous and unacceptable, and my attempts to seek resolution have been met with dismissiveness and poor communication.Issues Experienced Inadequate Staffing , Unprofessional Hiring Practices, and missing items The moving truck arrived with only one mover, forcing my wife to assist in moving heavy furniture upstairs. We were informed that the company sought additional help through ********** the day before our scheduled delivery, which is entirely unprofessional and unsafe.Damaged Items A stair tread and a bookshelf and a puzzle table were damaged during the move. Two of our storage tubs were severely damaged, with broken pieces and other trash left scattered in our driveway.Missing Items totaling around $1,500+ in lost goods Several of our belongings were lost including:Two bookcases Two unopened childrens ride-on vehicles Sideboards for our two boys' beds ********************** Issues During pickup, no stickers or labels were used. I was assured our items would be kept separate, which was clearly not the ******** of our boxed bicycles was nearly delivered to two other customers before us. If my wife had not noticed during unloading, it would have been lost entirely.Communication Failures We were promised a call from the ***************** team 37 days before the first available pickup date, but this never happened. Instead, we had to follow up ourselves and only received confirmation at 8 PM the night before On the delivery date, we were notified at 2 PM that our items would arrive either that day or the next, but no specific timeframe was provided. Attempts to reach the driver took over an hour, forcing us to cancel plans. The delivery was ultimately delayed until the following day due to the driver not being ready Efforts to resolve this have been ignored and delayedBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because: the company has made no attempt to rectify this. I have called them at least 8 times since the move happened and not once have they proactively called me. They continually pass blame to the driver of the truck and tell me he will call me. He has not, I finally was able to reach him and he said he is not looking into it right now because he is busy with other matters. This company has done nothing proactively to resolve this matter and continues to pass the **** when I speak to them.

Hello,
They have in no form made in a good faith effort to respond and fix this situation. Their responses through here are lies and have not once been true. Below is my response to them saying I am not listening and doing they ask. Please help, they are showing a pattern of this to other consumers and they need to be held responsible.
I am rejecting this response because: they have promised call after call and some form of resolution. I have not been getting those. I have done everything they have said including reaching out to the driver since he will not call me, even though he claims I have been. I have call logs and recordings to show this is not the case that they are claiming. They continually gas light me and say they are calling and giving me instructions but I have done everything they have asked including calling and following up since they are not. They are now getting to the point where on two separate occasions they have hung up on me and said there is nothing they can do. I have recordings of these calls to prove this. I have done nothing but be compliant and patient with them.
