I purchased a driving program through my son's school on March 4, 2022 with this company and the services were never rendered. I have been working to get refunded for several months. The company keeps telling me the refund is pending. No manager will return calls and the emails for all of the company executives do not exist in the format given to me by the employees. I had experienced this company through my niece, who learned to drive last year and had great success. Subsequently, I recommended this company to countless people over the following nine months or more. I originally purchased a set of three lessons for my daughter on 7/16 for $600 ($623.94 including credit card fees from All Florida Safety institute). I tried to schedule lessons through their portal on 7/17 and there was no availability at all for lessons. I called on 7/18 and spoke to someone, who told me that they would be in touch within a day to schedule lessons, but that my daughter's lack of availability was a problem, to which I told them she was completely available for the following three weeks. I indicated that I needed a female instructor. No one got back to me and the phones went to voicemails. Called **** (one of the instructors) directly on 7/20 and got no response. On 7/21, I sent an email requesting a full refund. They finally responded for the first time, with a form that would need to be filled out to get a refund. That form indicated that there would be a $15 charge, plus credit card fees, meaning I would be out $40 for their lack of response. I subsequently filed a dispute with my credit card. This company sent documentation to my credit card company for another student (not my child, no relation to me) as to why I owed them the full amount and my credit card company denied the claim on 9/7. All Florida sent my daughter an email on 9/8 to schedule lessons. We sent the form for refund on 9/11. We sent another email to them on 9/20 asking for a status of the refund. Today (9/26) I received three emails that were confirmations for lessons scheduled which I never scheduled. The dates of lessons are all dates that my daughter is unavailable, and all of the lessons are scheduled with a male instructor, which I only went with this company because they claimed to have female instructors. I am at a loss for what to do at this point as I WILL NOT be putting my child in a car with them and my credit card company thinks I owe them because they provided false data regarding the claim.Initial Complaint

The Date of the transaction was 7/24/2023 at 1:57PM for the amount of $701.93.
This was for the services of 6 Hour lesson plan $600.00, Credit Card processing fee of $26.93, 1 Road Test for $75.00. for a total of $701.93.
The first appointment that was able to be obtained was on September 1, 2023. We showed up to the appointment as directed. Then the person that was working at the office insisted that we did not have an appointment. After the employee started yelling about not having an appointment We got tired of th abuse but at the last minute he supposedly found the appointment. We left due to the verbal abuse and contact customer service. The man on the other end of the call delayed us for 30 minutes then hung up the phone. We called back and he transferred us to another person that said she would reschedule the appointment and everything paid was non refundable.
They scheduled another appointment through multiple phones back and forth between them. We tried multiple times trying to get the instruction hours. the kept pushing the date farther and farther like they were trying to get past the 90 credit card limit. We finally got the driving test taken on September 8th with no other instruction. The cost was $75.00. Now they are trying to charge a no show on the 16th which was not even scheduled.
We are very disgusted in their business practices and if we would have seen the bank ruptcy and other bad information about this company we would never have proceeded with the purchase. Seeing that this was supposed to be a safety exam for a teenager you would think that they would hold the highest safety standards and practices.
After multiple hang ups from the same guy and the condition of the instructors along with vehicles we have decided not to use any more of this service.
We asked for a refund of the services that were not rendered and have received no response except that the say everything is non refundable.Initial Complaint

I registered for services for my twin sons in March. After months of issues and calls we were able to schedule the final driving test and one hour required prep lesson on August 23rd for a September 13th and 14th date. I was told there was no local area testing in Jacksonville and that I would have to drive to Gainesville. When I requested a refund instead I was told that wasn’t an option. Our test prep appointment was moved to a different location and time without notice for one of my sons. We got the email only. Tried to call the office with no luck. We showed up to the new location and time. On 9/13 at around 8pm and 1:30 am our driving test was rescheduled multiple times for different dates. We showed up to the date and time listed in the email as again we could not get anyone on the phone. When we arrived to our designated test site no one was there. The designated test site was a community pool house. About 5-6 houses down the road we could see the company car with logo parked in a driveway. We waited about 15 minutes and then I called the office to try to figure what was going on . I did get someone on the phone this time. I was put on hold and no one ever came back on the line. An instructor showed up about twenty minutes in to our appointment time. She stated that she wasn’t going to come because she couldn’t pull up our test on their company program. When I asked how we would be notified of that since we drove an hour and a half, she stated she would have gotten around to calling or emailing us after her other appointments. She was upset when she found out I had called the office but began the test with my son. She failed him on the test and was obvious it was because of my phone call. When I called the office to discuss and reschedule I was told we have to pay even more money for another exam. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told no one was available. The instructor said she might be able to help us out but I had to come back.Customer Answer

I am now being charged for a retest that didn’t happen and a cancellation of that appointment. When I call the office to discuss the appointment and additional charges I am hung up on. This has happened four times today alone. I ended up resorting to emailing the instructor that emailed me a confirmation message today. I signed a form with the company on 2/17/2023 stating I would receive a refund of services that were never provided. The refund was to be completed on 9/1/2023. I have yet to receive a refund and the call center employee has told me that the company is having trouble securing funding for the refund. Paid for drivers education services in April 2023. Only received two lessons and it is now august 2023. The company is now stating they don’t have drivers to service our area. Our daughter has missed time from work and enrollment in college based on their scheduled lessons that were always cancelled by email and text without warning. We hired them to provide adult driving lessons. despite their claims, they had no availability to accommodate new students within 8-10 weeks. And they only availability they offered was 45 minutes away and did not have the free pick up and drop off we paid for. We signed up for three 2-hour lessons plus the driver license test on 4/27/23. My daughter had one lesson, the instructor canceled the remaining two due to scheduling conflicts and a second instruction canceled because her vehicle's registration was expired. I began emailing frequently on 7/13 and today (7/20) I went to the office, only to find they have moved out. I paid $550 for these lessons. Please help!!

I am filing a formal complaint against the All Florida Safety Institute for their failure to provide the services for which I paid. Despite multiple attempts to schedule driving lessons, none of the promised services were delivered. Their lack of communication and unresponsiveness to my concerns have been deeply disappointing. I am seeking a full refund ($1,187.57) and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. I paid $1300 thru their website for driving lessons as a gift for my son and when I called to schedule driving lesson appointments no one would answer the phone or return my voicemail mail messages. After 5 days of not receiving any contact from them I filed for a chargeback with my credit card company for non services provided. However the driving school disputed my chargeback claiming they have a “no return policy” so my credit card company will not refund me my $1300.
It’s obvious from all the complaints filed against this driving school (Florida Driving Academy) that they are scamming a lot of other people as well by not answering their phones or not returning calls and just keeping everyone’s money. How is this NOT A SCAM and how can they keep getting away with this even when being legally licensed?!! These scammers should be in JAIL!! Why are they NOT being investigated!!
