Signed contract on 11-19-24 and work did not proceed until middle of January. Supplies were delivered in our driveway with no notice and sat there for approximately 30 days, so no access to our garage and no communication from Chappell even after several e-mails. Our neighbor told us that a company stopped by and said they were hired as sub contractors to complete our job, but never any communication from Chappelle. Workers came approximately 1 day each week and did not speak English when asking for an update. Again, no e-mails were answered or authorization for the sub contractors work. Our roof was finally completed in February and of course Chappelle wanted payment and we still had no response or answers to our questions. I would not recommend Chappelle roofing. The payment was made and the promised paperwork that was to be sent to us per the contract along with a receipt has never been sent. We were told once we paid, the information would be sent. We are still waiting as of today, 3-20-25. We are very disappointed that there has been only limited communication with this company. PS: They also had to order more material for our roof because one of the sub contractors crew cut too many pieces that did not fit our roof. We only knew this because our neighbors told us that is what the crew told them! Yikes!

We are very sorry for your experience. The first contract you signed was on 11/12/24 then you wanted to upgrade the metal so you signed new contract on 11/19/24. We started your roof for tear off and dry in on 12/11/24 so your roof was completely dried in. Metal package needed to be delivered, once it was, we started your roof on 1/8/25 and got it ready for inspection. The inspection passed and we came to install more, we were waiting on additional panels to be delivered, not due to crew cutting as the panels are prefabricated before being delivered, which we do apologize for that delay. All our crews have english speakers, and the roof was completed January 31, 2025. The start date payment per contract terms was never paid and the payment for roof wasn't paid until March 7, 2025. Final inspection was passed and emailed to you on 2/11/25, also your warranty documents, wind mit report and all closing documents were emailed on 3/11/25, so the statement of not receiving isn't correct. If you need us to forward, you that email again, we have no problem in doing so. If you can provide me the email you were sending your concerns and questions too, we would be more than happy to pull them up but, on my end, I don't show anything.Review fromEdward A

Chappelle Roofing has owned up to the issues and has been cooperative in trying to resolve everything. 1 star***FULL BLOWN FRAUD***This company presented themselves as a customer-first establishment and that couldnt be farther from the truth. They originally quoted us $15k to replace our roof, but when they found out our insurance company would be covering the cost that ballooned somehow to $22K without any explanation whatsoever. To make matters worse, they fraudulently charged our insurance company for interior work that was never completed and are now trying to collect additional funds that completely defy what was explicitly laid out in our original contract. 5 starsMy wife worked with ***** from Chappelle Roofing to replace our roof to a new metal roof. They were recommended by our uncle who did their roof with Chappelle before. The process is seamless, ***** is great at explaining every step of the way and is really good at communicating. They start on time, finished on time, and great workmanship. 1 starI cannot speak in regards to their workmanship, but I can speak to how they pay their suppliers! THEY DONT!! We supplied metal roofing for Chappelle, and after the job was complete, they told us they were not going to pay us. The reason that was given is that their salesman messed up the type of product that was sold to the homeowner, and now they lost money on the job, so we wont get paid!! What???? We sold the roofing to Chappelle, and never had any contact with the homeowner....Now we are not getting paid because of their salesman's mistake. We talked to the subcontractor that installed the roofing, and they told us that they also have not been paid for several jobs, and are filing a lawsuit as we speak.If Chappelle treats their suppliers like this......They also will not treat homeowners right!! 5 starsChappelle Roofing did an amazing job on our house. They were efficient and professional and did everything in a timely manner. *********************** kept us informed throughout the process. I would highly recommend them.
