  Everything from the first appointment to the final installation of my roof was on time. The staff kept me informed through the entire process. *****, the owner, was present that morning and stayed during much of the install as the original sales rep was out sick that day. I highly recommend the Chappelle team for their professionalism and ability to perform well regardless of unforeseen circumstances.

  Good communication, professional - everyone very ********** price. Did a great job consulting with us prior and replacing our roof after damaged by hurricane in **- timely completion. It looks beautiful, and also happy with the solar fan.

  I cant express how happy my family and I are with the look, the quality of shingles, and the installation of our new roof! Everyone at Chappelle Roofing was so pleasant, kind, professional, and easy to talk to. The roof replacement crew was very thorough, conducting a roof inspection before starting any work, and they finished the roof in all of one day, leaving the place clean and tidy. This was the second time a storm wreaked havoc on ******* in Strognsville, and the first time I was actually happy with the work done. Great job, guys!

  Chappelle installed a metal roof on our home and it looks fantastic. The only reason I didn't give five stars was due to some skylight issues and completion time. Our contract stated 3-5 days for completion, which I did not expect to happen due to the size of our roof and it being metal. However, I did not expect it to take over three weeks.We were gone for the majority of the install, so I'm assuming that's why it was not completed sooner. We had one new skylight installed and two existing ones that were being replaced by larger sizes. I had all four corners of the skylights marked from the inside with screws and the installer failed to connect the dots and cut straight lines. This caused me to have to cut the decking from inside the home. The skylights weren't centered, where I intended them to be, so it'll require more work when trimming them out. These aren't major issues and can definitely be fixed, but it's frustrating from a fellow tradesman's standpoint. The installers also removed the factory installed shades from one of the curb mounted skylights. They were broken when doing so, so it caused a slight delay and a return trip to install the new ones.All of that being said, Chappelle did great and was easy to work with. The salesman responded to all texts/calls promptly. They corrected the skylight shades that got broken and worked with us on our final invoice. They allowed us to leave retainage until the skylight issue was fixed and did not charge late fees. Chappelle did our neighbors roof a few weeks after ours and knocked it out in two days. I would recommend using them and I would use them again as well.

  I had a roof installed in march of 2022 on my home. After a few months I noticed a large bulge in my roof on the west side after inspection where the roofers put new decking they missed the truss with the nails ( see attached pictures and the new wood vs old wood.) after back and forth from June to September a crew came out to attempt the repair. They seemed to fix the spot but after a few months the bulge came back I notified the company and they came back out in may of 2023. And after multiple cancellations and no response my roof still looks the same. I have a 2 year “ workmanship warranty “ that should expire in march of 24 but I can’t even get a response from the company. Also should be noted that the day of installation the crew asked me the home owner to go and buy the plywood (10 sheets) and nails so they could complete their job and I offered to do so. The company did reimburse me for that cost. After retrieving the materials for them they asked me to go buy ice guard and shingles that they were short on I declined. When the job was completed the crew asked me for payment for their labor I declined. I already made my payments to the company through the quick book payment app.I also called the dumpster company to get the dumpster removed because no one called them to remove it.This company sub contracts their labor and they are not really affiliated with chappelle roofing.I have called the office in Florida about once a week since the beginning of July 23 to at least get an answer and I have heard nothing.

  Chapelle roofing covered our AC unit with plastic first then a black covering. Good thing the neighbor has camera footage. This blew out the ac coil. Next, the roofers punctured the ac pipe when they nailed the shingles on. We have been in an over 100 degree house over 2 weeks and Chapelle roofing (****) told me to cover the hole and that they are not responsible for the damage. I am paying out of pocket to have this fixed and will be submitting pictures and keeping the piping to pursue a lawsuit. My mother has suffered heat exhaustion multiple times due to the heat in here and I can not let this happen to any other people.

  Chappelle Roofing covered the AC unit with Black mesh covering and blue tarps around the ground which is a common practice to protect the debris falling into the outside AC unit.  The covering had nothing to do with the coil.  The first call Chappelle received from Mrs. S**** regarding the AC was that the AC company said she needed a whole outside new condensing unit.  Then Chappelle did make a call to an AC company for second opinion of course as it is Florida, and we all know about AC.  The company Chappelle called couldn’t get out there has the tech was in the emergency room. Mrs. P**** who is Mrs. S**** daughter then called screaming stating this is on Chappelle, and we need to pay for hotel for her mother, since Mrs. P**** was out of state so her mother Mrs. S**** couldn’t go stay at her home which isn’t to far, Chappelle also installed Mrs P****’s roof few months back.  On that phone call she also stated she was lucky she could even got the AC company out there last minute as only reason she did was because he was a friend doing her a favor, so at that time he could of easily accessed the actually damage and temporily fixed it by putting freon and it would of stayed cool for little while giving her mother some temporary relief.  After the weekend we didn’t hear from Mrs. S**** until that following Monday, and she proceeded to say AC company came out and it was a burnt coil and would roughly cost around 300.00.  So, with that information we told her to get her AC fixed, extra plywood was used on her project which would of cost 200.00 so Chappelle spoke with Mrs. S**** and discounted that to help as an AC coil isn’t our responsibility and the AC unit is 20 years old.  Nicole called Mrs. S**** to go through the process regarding unit and stated she wouldn’t charge her the extra money so it would help with the coil cost.  Also, in the addendum it states Chappelle isn’t liable. Chappelle then received a call stating we put a nail through copper pipe which isn’t up to code as it was near roof line, thus why the addendum states that and pretty sure since her AC has never been replaced and only serviced once she stated in 20 years piping isn’t up to current building codes.  Mrs. P**** spoke with Mike and Nicole which Nicole explained what was discussed with her mother and she stated she still out of town, so she hasn’t talked with her mom, and after the conversation there seemed to be an understanding.  Chappelle has been in communication and completed the contract for the roof, Chappelle is not liable for copper pipe as it shouldn’t be in roof line, and it clearly states that on our addendum which was signed. As Chappelle is sorry her mother had to deal with that it isn’t on Chappelle, she suffered from heat exhaustion.  Her daughter doesn’t live far, and it is on the homeowner to fix the AC they decided not to have it corrected and suffer.  Chappelle did discount Mrs. S**** invoice to help out as a courtesy and this was all explained to Mrs. P**** and Mrs. S****.  Since Mrs. P**** stated on her complaint, she wants to file a lawsuit we will go ahead and contact our attorney as well and they can solve this matter.  Doesn't seem I can upload attachments on this review so I will email them directly to the BBB

  Contract states owner to approve of skylights prior to installation and skylight to be the same/like the current ones.During the tear off and first roofing, they did not cover the pool properly and shingle debris/fiberglass was visible in the pool. They also broke a glass table, pieces in the pool. They did not let us know. They did not cover the front gutter where they moved all the debris to the dumpster, gutter is significantly damaged. The license ****************************, came to see it and agreed it was neglectful. Regarding the roofWithout our knowledge the new underlayment and shingles were installed with the current bathroom skylight in place. Later, without our knowledge or approval, they tore off the roof around the bathroom skylight and replaced it with a glass skylight. Then they acquired the correct skylight. I insisted on being on the property for the remaining work, requiring a day off work. I had to use three vacation days because they brought the wrong skylight on the 1st day and did not show up on the 2nd day. During these events we had multiple conversations to get them to finish the work and in regards the integrity of the roof that was no longer a new roof but was patched TWICE as well as the pool expenses (cleaning and new filter) and gutter replacement. Their responses were hostile, threatening to not return to finish the job and to place a lien on our property.

  No one from Chappelle had any disagreement on what the contract stated.  Chappelle also apologized about that, and the skylights were changed as we have before and after photos.  We had discussions and payment was held until we corrected the second skylight to match the other one as you directed.  Chappelle ordered the correct skylight from Beacon supply, however when it was picked up, they handed us the wrong one.  Our production manager informed ********************* of this matter.  The homeowner called us with the two dates she was off work for us to come and we came on the second date and again one she had stated she was available.  **************** did go out originally and never did he agree about the gutter, which was discussed as well, Chappelle also has photos of gutters.   Chappelle came out and installed the correct skylight per agreement, Chappelle also discounted the final invoice the cost of the pool cleaning. The glass part of the table the homeowner stated she wasn't worried about it, she just said if we broke it, we should have told her, which was agreed, if Chappelle was cause then it should have been brought to everyone's attention.  None of the responses were hostile or threatening, and Chappelle even apologized if ********************* took it that way, but Chappelle is a business, and we were stating what the next steps would be in collecting monies owed as job was completely finished.  Chappelle would like to apologize for the skylight issue again, and Chappelle did make it right and installed correct one.
