      Contract for impact resistant doors signed in December 2023. Time for signing to install was reasonable; however, the glass on one of the doors was scratched. This was noted on the paperwork and Reece stated that they would replace the door. This was noted on their paperwork in addition to mine. As of this writing Reece has been back to my residence several time to adjust/finish the installation of several doors but has yet to provide the replacement door. I have contacted them several times about the replacement and have been promised a call back each time without any return calls. I am beginning to think that Reece has no intention of replacing the door.

      I am rejecting this response because: Reece has not yet replaced the door as promised. Although the company has telephoned, the operations manager stated that they have ordered a replacement door (for the third time). He also stated that the anticipated (and earliest) date that they would have the replacement is 10/9/2024. Since the job is not finished, I cannot claim satisfaction concerning this complaint.

      we do not have control over the manufacturer and when they will deliver the new glass. i wish we did , it would make our life a lot easier. We don't want a customer to wait for anything. we do not want complaints , especially when it is outside of our control. this is a manufacturer parts issue not a Reece installation  issue. as soon as the parts show up we will install them.

      I am rejecting this response because: This is the third time Reece has supposedly re-ordered the door. Both of the previous times Reece has blamed the "manufacturer" for errors "order number was similar to yours" "last name on another order was very similar to yours". You are the contractor. You are responsible (by contract) for the completion of the job in a timely, professional manner. If your supplier has issues; in this case taking ten months to fill your order for my replacement door, you need a new supplier. Using them is hurting your business!

      Your company (Reece) has promised a door on the 9th of October. When the door has arrived and is installed correctly, we will talk about accepting your response. Until then, my BBB complaint remains open.

      I had 4 hurricane windows installed by Reece Builders beginning around 9-20-23. Job number ***** The price was $19,900 and they were paid in full. They used interior trim board for my exterior trim.(35E2MDFmedium density fiberboard) which is for interior use only and cannot be exposed to water. Consequently, all of the trim swelled and retained water, necessitating costly replacement.I called Reece Builders in Ft ***** on July 8, 2024. I spoke with ***************************** who promised to provide assistance. I sent pictures which he acknowledged receiving. I heard nothing. Today I called 4 times. Each time there was a different excuse. On the phone In a meeting Just stepped out and finallyWill call right backPlease help me get reimbursed by Reece Builders.

      This business will not stop calling. I've never had any contact with these psychopaths. What legitimate business would ever think it is okay to call someone 100+ times? Please look at the attached call log. Seriously, who calls a couple times, gets no response, and KEEPS CALLING. I want them to leave me alone. Help!

      I am rejecting this response because:  Insuffcient response/action

      1. Provide a timestamped screenshot on ******** where this info was provided.  I deleted my ******** account 15+ years ago so your contact was unsolicited.

      2. Ignoring how you got my number, on what planet is it okay for any reputable business to call ANYONE in the manner your business has called me over the past 2+ months?  No one on Earth would label this as anything other than egregious, relentless, and clear harrassment.

      3. A do not call list is not going to cut it.  It happened to me and it is still happening to others and there are NUMEROUS complaints against Reece *** with the BBB.  I want to know what measures your company is going to put in place to make sure that this behavior ceases and does not happen in the future.

      4. Lack of suitable response/action will result in my pursuit of legal remedy with the state of Florida's AG.

      Over 2+ years ago we obtained a quote for windows and declined purchase. The company continues to solicit us relentlessly. We have filed numerous complaints and were told 2 yrs ago that they would stop. We continue to be solicited by their representatives. They come to our door even though we live in a community that is clearly posted "No Solicitation allowed" and leave notes on our door. The last Solicitation was on 5/06/2024 at 3pm EST by ***** **************. We understand they are a business and are trying to make a living, but something needs to be in place that would exclude people who are harassed repeatedly and are fed up with it.

      Arrogant Solicitor *************************** with Reece Builders disregarded the NO soliciting sign at the entrance of the neighborhood and proceeded to leave his company info stuck directly on the NO soliciting sign thats on my front door. Finding this somewhat threatening, i have informed the. Manatee **************************** and he will be trespassed if this occurs again.

      To whom it may concern We purchased a window in 2012. Approximately 6 weeks later they came to my house to install the window. They removed the window. When they went to replace the window with the new window it was the wrong size They had to get a new window. The window was supposed to be custom-made they also gave a lifetime warranty. Approximately 3 years later I noticed that the encasement was cracking. So I called them the service man told me it was my fault they calked around the window and Also told me the roof was leaking. Had that checked out. Told me the roof was leaking Approx 3 years later called again. They didnt do anything. They have employees coming to your house to sell you their products. Last week someone came to my house to sell me a product and was told they were under new management. So I called the service **** They came and told me that I needed to clean the window and call when its clean Also was told that leak was coming ***** s**** from the pool cage. They called this AM When I went to answer the phone they hung this PM they called I answered the phone and while talking was hung up on. The size of my window is 72x71 inches

      yes we are sorry you are experiencing a leak, anytime the water comes in from the top of a window it is because something above it is allowing water in. could be roof, soffit, pool cage etc.. we have been out and asked that you must perform cleaning on the window to make sure it is in proper working order. based on the pictures you need to clean the mold off your home and window and fix the rotted wood above the window. the rotted wood is what is most likely allowing the water into your house. I do know we are scheduled to come back out for a third time to see if we can find the leak , if its in our window, so I hope you have done the proper cleaning. please see attached pictures we have taken of the home.

      we have been out three times but nothing has been cleaned to be able to service the window.

      I am rejecting this response because: A continuation complaint. (ID# ********* Worker came on 3/14 to assess the window. Stated that someone would call me tomorrow or next week. I waited until 3/25. They set up appointment for 3/26. They came Tuesday 3/26 at 0840-1310. They said they would come back tomorrow 3/27. I waited all day No show. called left telephone message. On 3/28 called again no answer. Their is mold on the frame My husband is allergic to mold THIS IS a HEALTH ISSUE

      Reece cannot stop the growth of mold on any of our products. Mold is a sign of water sitting in a shady area and staying moist. That needs to be cleaned by homeowners. We do not offer cleaning services of our windows. I would suggest calling a window cleaning company if you cannot clean them yourself.

      This company, Reece Windows, has been contacting me multiple times a day by phone and text and showing up at my home soliciting. I have blocked their numbers and asked that they remove me from their call list but still get multiple voicemails and calls a day. I have explained I am not a homeowner and never requested information about windows. This is harassment and needs to stop.

      This complaint needs to be removed from our report for a few reasons
      1. She filled a form asking to be contacted, she filled out trusted form asking to be emailed texted and called. 
      2. She never bothered to answer the phone and ever talk to us to ask we stop. All the no answers after she submitted his information to us are logged. 
      3. If we ever talk to someone its because they gave us there information to do it which we always have a record of that happening and if they bother to answer and tell us they dont want info anymore we stop calling right away.

      ************************* was the company representative in ************** that initially presented Reece Windows August, 2023. During the initial meeting ************************* informed me that once I hired them I would not be able to change my mind and that if I did I would be held accountable for the full amount, $23,246. He informed me that once the windows were put in I would have 6 months to begin payment. That was not true. Payment began immediately after the windows were installed. I had to call them back to the house to correct an issue with a screen not fitting and opening a window properly. Additionally, I was told to apply to My Safe Homes to receive up to $10,000 towards the cost of the windows. An inspector came to the house and after that I never heard from them again. Needless to say that was part of the scam to get me to sign on the dotted line. I have tried several times to contact ************************* and his supervisors, to no avail. Yesterday, 11/28/2023 I called the ************** office and they hung up on me.

      Tra Ahia is correct that we do hold customers to their contract after the 3 day write to cancel as all our products are custom made for every homeowner. Reece is not the bank who financed their loan. If there is an issue with the loan that needs to be between the homeowner and the bank. I have attached their signed loan docs to this. I also do not see in the loan docs were it says the payment is deferred from the bank. With my safe ******* program that is between the homeowner and the ****************. We do not have anything to do with the my safe ******* program other than we are an authorized company of the program. I would recommend reaching back out to them as they did run out of money but I did hear that they received some money or are receiving some in the future.

      Just had a very scary experience. About 12:55 today, while I was home alone a man approached from the side of my house- cutting across the lawn from a neighbors home to my front door and rang my doorbell. I of course didnt answer. I heard my storm door open and I heard this man attempting to open my front door. I caught this man on my cameras stumbling down my driveway and lawn and standing, dazed and probably intoxicated in the middle of my street. He sees another female neighbor getting out of her car and attempts to stumble towards her. She runs in her house and calls her husband who is a friends of mine. This man then approaches another home and appears to do the same thing he did at my house. Another neighbor is pulling in his driveway and the man hides out in the doorway until the male neighbor goes inside his house. He then proceeds to walk across lawns to random houses. The police were called and when I go out to talk to them, I see this door tag on my front door. I call the company Reece **************** I was told to go online and file a complaint. The fact that this man not only opened my storm door but also attempted to open my door to my house wasnt of any concern to them. I again was told to go online and file a complaint. I am in complete shock that this company did NOTHING to address this situation- they didnt even ask me for his name! Beware of using Reece Windows and Doors as they clearly do not get vet employees or contractors. There was no company vehicle in my neighborhood according to the police.

      As a result of damage from Hurricane ***, it became necessary to replace the front door of my house. I hired Reece's Builders for this project, paying them half the cost of the job: $2500. I was promised completion within 4-6 weeks. Eight months have elapsed and I still have no indication as to the date of installation. Moreover, no one from the company has responded to my numerous emails in which I've requested information pertaining to the completion of the project. I requested a full refund, since I no longer have any confidence in this company. They have taken my money and have given me nothing.
