It's Worth More offers to buy computer products for a cash offer. I was offered $850.00 for more MacBook M2 and given a ***** shipping label. I packed my product and sent it out on January 16, 2025. This said they received it on January 22, 2025 and would evaluate the MacBook. 2 days later on January 24, they sent an email claiming I sent them an empty box. I called their customer service phone on January *********, and was told they would open an investigation on my claim. I also sent an email with my complaint to ********************** I also sent proof with my ***** tracking receipt that shows my shipment weighed 8 pounds, which is obviously not an empty box. I believe they have my shipment and are intentionally trying to delay payment, or even trying to steal my product.Business Response

Unfortunately, upon inspection, it has come to our attention that the received box was discovered to be empty. Video footage has been provided, confirming that the box was indeed empty upon its delivery to us.
Just like the customer, we were anticipating the receipt of the specified device as per the offer, and we are eager for the transactions to proceed smoothly. Dealing with missing or lost items is a scenario that we are committed to preventing for our customers.
We prioritize customer satisfaction and have extended our assistance in initiating a claim with the courier. The investigation is currently in progress, and we assure you that we will provide regular updates on the progress of the claim.Initial Complaint

Purchase a used $3.7k computer from IWM on 12/24/24. Their auction indicated it was a 9/10, excellent condition computer. It arrived damaged. They offered me a very low partial refund or a full refund upon return. I returned the computer and it was delivered/signed for by *** on 01/07/25. Their communications to me indicated I would get a refund after 2-3 days. It's 01/12/25 and still no refund. I have lost time and money in this transaction. I highly recommend getting pictures of the actual products that will ship to you b/c it's not clear what you will actually receive and this is unacceptable.Business Response

Hi,
We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us and share your feedback via the BBB. Your experience is incredibly important to us, and we deeply regret any frustration or inconvenience caused by the delay in processing your refund.
After thoroughly reviewing the matter, we can confirm that your return was received on January 8th. While **** allows up to 7 business days to complete refunds, we always strive to process them within 2-3 business days whenever possible. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of orders and returns following the holiday season, there was an unexpected delay, and for that, we sincerely apologize.
That being said, were pleased to inform you that your order was fully refunded on January 16th. Unless there are any additional concerns youd like us to address, this case is now considered resolved on our end.

I am rejecting this response because:The vendor eventually did refund my money. This was after a long wait and the hassle of having to pay for a very expensive computer that was damaged and then return it. This company can avoid complaints like mine through more detailed information/pictures on the used items they are selling, better packaging/shipping, and more accurate communication. I left negative feedback on **** which was removed b/c they eventually refunded my money ***** policy). Be aware of this because a consumer may be making a decision without all the submitted feedback from buyers. I would encourage all dissatisfied consumers to submit their complaints and feedback to ensure this vendor ramps up its standards for any sales it makes. Very disappointed.
Sincerely,

I sent 2 brand new unopened AirPod pro 2nd gen to itsworthmore.com. They offered me $120 for the items. Once they received the items they said that they couldn't verify the authenticicy and that they changed the offer price to $0 and 0 cents. The only option I have is to accept the offer where they keep my items for free or contact them. I did email them and no response yet.Business Response

Hi,
We appreciate the customer taking the time to provide feedback via the BBB. We sincerely apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this situation has caused. Unfortunately, during our inspection process, we were unable to verify the authenticity of the AirPods Pro (2nd Gen) submitted. Counterfeit AirPods are a significant issue, and in instances where our inspection team cannot confidently verify the authenticity of items, we are unable to proceed with an offer.
However, as a courtesy to the customer, we shipped the ******* back on December 31 at no cost to them. This case is satisfactorily closed on our end unless the customer has any additional issues they would like
addressed.

Hi,
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the customer for taking the time to contact us and share their valuable feedback via the BBB. We have conducted a comprehensive examination of the situation at hand.
Upon our inspection, we discovered that the device had damage to the *** assembly. This damage could be attributed to a manufacturing defect, water damage, or dislodged/defective internal components applying pressure to the inner layers of the screen assembly, resulting in wear on the layer responsible for evening out the backlight. This finding contradicts its initial description of being in flawless condition. Furthermore, we found that the device's electronic serial number, or ESN, was associated with a finance plan. Consequently, the device can be blocked at any time due to an unpaid balance, leading to significant adjustments to the offer amount. Upon completing the evaluation, we informed the customer of our findings and provided a ********** day window for them to accept or reject the offer. Unfortunately, we did not receive a response from the customer, so the offer was finalized and payment was sent. As per the agreed-upon terms and conditions, " If you have not contacted us within those THREE (3) days, ItsWorthMore shall presume you have accepted the new Offer and proceed with sending you the payment for the adjusted in the form of payment you have selected."
We recognize and acknowledge the customer's dissatisfaction and frustration, understanding that they may have missed our emails. In our commitment to customer satisfaction, we have directly contacted the customer and offered a resolution, to which they have agreed.
This case is satisfactorily closed on our end unless the customer has any additional issues they would like addressed.Sincerely

I sent my iPhone 12 to ItsWorthMore.com for sale. Xfinity recommended I use them, as the Xfinity *** who looked at my phone said it was in flawless condition and that ItsWorthMore offered $205. I sent it in, and ItsWorthMore said there were light scratches (I have no idea where) and that they would offer $185. While I disagreed with this, I accepted their offer.i received an email stating I had been paid. There was an option for direct deposit, which I chose. It went through ************. I was told I would see funds in my account next day. That was 11/8. When I reached out to ItsWorthMore to let them know I still had not received payment as of 11/11, they told me they couldnt help me and that I had to go through ************. I tried calling ************, but they only offered email support. The *** there said they showed I had been paid. When I explained I had not, they simply said they would escalate the issue and reach out when they had more info. ItsWorthMore stole my iPhone 12. I have requested they either return my phone or reissue payment. I have not received a response.Customer Answer

ItsWorthMore.com is telling me to wait yet another day and told me today that they cant do anything since they show they released funds. They told me I have to go through ************. ************ is telling me I have to go through ************. Meanwhile, ItsWorthMore has my phone without paying me and refuse to reissue payment nor return my phone. I have sent screenshots of my bank account showing no payment, but they still refuse to reissue payment nor return my phone, as requested.Business Response

Hello,
Wed like to thank the customer for reaching out and sharing their valuable feedback via the BBB. We completely understand the importance of receiving the payment promptly and sincerely apologize for any frustration this payment processing time may have caused.
As much as we would like the payment to be posted to our customer's account immediately, please note that the posting of funds is solely dependent on their bank's processing time. The payment was processed on our end via a digital check on 11/07, and it was handled as an ACH transaction. Typically, ACH transactions take around three business days to clear, though this may vary depending on their bank's processes.
At this time, we can confirm that the payment was credited to the customer's account on 11/13. This case is satisfactorily closed on our end unless the customer has any additional issues they would like addressed.

The item is an iPhone 14pro, which was in good condition before being sent to itsworthmore. They offered $525 for the item brand new, and in good condition $500. My item was accidentally marked brand new and shouldve been in the good condition category. The retail value of the phone is around $700-900 for the purple 128gb model. Their offer is so they can still make a profit and I accepted it and used their shipping service to send the device over for their inspection process. After their so called inspection they discovered that the back glass of the phone was broken, and slashed their original deal by an absurd amount. Below are pictures of how I sent the phone, the back glass wasnt broken before shipment so that means either during or after shipment the device became damaged. I even sent its worth more the corresponding pictures and they offered to make a claim for me to get the total value. I am alright with that but the reason I am complaining is the value they offered and paid me which is $202 which seems shady. What is also listed below are offers for iPhone 14pro glass backs which starts off at $20. The highest prices doesnt even get anywhere near the $250 they are taking off my phone after it being damaged in their possession. Im reporting this because this is a red flag, this company is now turning the $200 profit they were going to make on the phone into now a $500 profit. They still have the phone during negotiation before a claim and they said that they cant make a claim until I accept their offer. On top of damaging the item they threatened to send it back which will leave me with nothing which seems like a scam tactic in their favor. A fair company would charge me a fair value for the back glass, not do what they did. Something seems shady and I know Im not the only customer they have done this too. I would have easily taken my phone back with a claim however I was forced to take their scammed value to make a claim.Business Response

Hi,
We appreciate the customer taking the time to provide feedback via the BBB. After thoroughly inspecting the device, we found the back glass to be cracked, requiring a full replacement before resale, which is a delicate process. This unfortunately categorizes the device as broken, significantly lowering the offer from the original amount.
While the customer claims the device was shipped intact, we can confirm it arrived with damage. Per the customers request, **** paid them the adjusted amount and have filed a claim with the courier on their behalf. Unfortunately, we do have to wait for the decision from the courier as it can help confirm if they damage was due to mishandling on the carriers end. Once approved, well process payment and continue with the investigation. If the claim is successful, were prepared to offer the remaining funds for a flawless device.Best,

Itsworthmore.com Offer: ******* I used this company years ago with no issues! I recently upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro Max and was selling my iPhone 12 Pro Max to them. The phone had a case and tempered glass screen protector at all times. I graded the phone as good condition but thought when the saw it they would grade it a level higher. I was offered $304 for my device. The phone was in flawless condition. I used it up to the day my new phone came. I get an email today that says my value was reduced to $134 due to:iPhone 12 Pro *** ****, Unlocked, 256GB The back glass was found to be cracked. The entire back glass plate will have to be removed and replaced before the device can be resold. This is a very delicate and very time consuming process.Due to the issues found, your offer price has been updated to account for our findings.Adjusted Price: $134.00 I responded to the email and called them. My anxiety is through the roof and I am so upset and crying because that phone was not in that condition when I mailed it by any means. I literally swear on my life that phone was not like that when I mailed it. My husband is afraid I am going to give myself a heart attack because I am so livid about this. The girl I talked to said she would contact me back by end of the day. I could have easily sold this on ******** marketplace but I didnt want to deal with meeting someone and bc I had such good experience with this company in the past. I never ever would have thought something like this would happen. Reading reviews on the BBB and this platform it seems like they are famous for scamming people and downgrading their offer to less. My phone was not in the condition they stated when I mailed it. Ive never cracked or damaged a phone in my life. This is absolutely ridiculous. I want honesty and for them to own up to this and pay me what I deserve for my item. Legal action will be taken and or I will blast you over social media to platforms along with the BBB.Business Response

Hi
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the customer for taking the time to provide us with their valuable feedback through the BBB. We have diligently investigated the matter to gain a comprehensive understanding of the situation. Upon careful evaluation, it has been brought to our attention that the device, originally submitted in flawless condition, was found to have light scratches or scuffing on the screen and/or body. Additionally, the electronic serial number (ESN) of the device is associated with a finance plan, which may lead to the possibility of the devices being blocked due to an outstanding balance. The financing of the device resulted in a significant reduction in the offer. We also want to emphasize that we do state multiple times throughout our website and emails that financed devices are subject to an up to 70% deduction. While we empathize with the customer's frustration, it is important to highlight that our findings are based on multiple sources, including the carrier's official website. We have also provided photographic evidence to support the assertion that the device is financed. Throughout this process, we have maintained complete transparency and extended an offer for reinspection, as it may take some time for the status to update. Regrettably, the customer declined the reinspection and requested the device to be returned. We acknowledge the delay in returning the device, which was due to awaiting confirmation of the shipping address from the customer, leading to a slight delay in the process. We can confirm that the customer's device has been successfully delivered back to her via USPS with tracking number 9400111105501713339594.
As of now, we consider this case satisfactorily closed, unless the customer has any additional concerns that they would like to address.

I have been recently doing business with the company, itsworthmore. This last time I sold them a brand new apple iphone 15 pro max 512 gb. The item was sealed and had never been opened. I put insurance on the item before mailing it off and so they had the tracking information as well as I did. Once the item was received by the company, they were required to sign for it, in which they did. I then received an email saying they received my item and they will let me know once it is approved. The I waited because usually when they receive items that are new they approve and send the money via ****** the next day. So they waited a whole another business day to email me saying that the package was empty in which was not true bc fedx weighted in the package and I have documents stating it was the same weight upon delivery and signature. I then had to go and file a police report, report the iPhone that had never been activated only to find out that they had erased everything on there and sold my item and I did not get paid. I contacted other individuals whom said they have been scammed by the company with the same story. Please dont let this company get away with scamming other individuals.Business Response
