      A month ago, I donated to NPTA Donations, and 2 weeks later, I started receiving calls everyday requesting donations. I'm not sure if this is a coincidence or if NPTA Donatons shared my contact information with others. It is quite off putting, especially since I donate to our local police and fire departments as well as other medical research organizations every year.It would be unfortunate their organizaton does share donators' contact information without the donator's consent. Becasuse this experience of ****** calls feels like harrasment, and I'm less incline to donate in the future.

      I have had the very same experiences. I was about to send a check because that would have been my only choice. I did not want to use some online address because it did not match the letter. As I found this rating, I now know what this means to me. RED FLAG!

      Here we go again. Another "Scam" padding the pockets of crooks hiding behind a shield. Can you get any lower in a time when you need trust in Law Enforcement? My heart breaks every time time I see one of our Officers go down; real police putting it on the line. 004% actual donations to charity, 99.06% administration cost aka calling commissions. Nothing like a job that makes you feel like **** at the end of the day when you screwed the public, you know, the folks you are suppose to be protecting. ??this where the sun don't shine.

      I thought I was being nice and made a donation to the National Police and Troopers Association. They then sold my information to 100s if other fake nonprofits who call me multiple times per day to harass me for donations. The new calls I get are from organizations such as-National *************************** of Police of ******* American ********************** And others. DONT MAKE any donations to National Police and Troopers Association unless you want to be spammed with phone calls all day and night.

      Very rude. I've asked to be removed from their calling list many times but yet they still call. They harass me by calling my cell phone constantly after I ask them to remove my home number.

      I've received intermittent calls from the same group about this and other "donation drives" for several years now. Looked this one up in particular and it seems that they donate >0.5% of what they take in to charity. Takes in around 10 million a year and donates like $50,000 to a few charities. Seems to have a few employees making 120K and pays like 90% of their revenue back in the phone solicitation. Wouldn't be surprised if the phone soliciting companies are owned by people involved in this.Either way the guy that keeps calling me always asks for "****" and when I used to say I thought he had a wrong number he would say "Well maybe you can help" and tell me about the donations.If not an out and out scam, it is a charity in the legal definition only. Just mail a dollar to the police and you'll them more than this organization.

      Dont fall for this c*** Theyre literally so rude and try to come off as tough to make you donate. Probably doesnt benefit actual troopers anyway. Theyre jerks. Just hang up. Their be mean to you, sound like an a** to scare you into donating tactic is old and it makes me mad.

      Even though I am a former officer, I always tell them, I aint given you s*** I hate pigsKudos to them for continuing to be friendly, and they are still consistent in their sales pitch.

      They are aggressive in soliciting donations and I keep getting mail for other people at my address. It's a scam as far as I can tell.

      Has been repeatedly harrassing me for over a year and I am about to reach out for legal help if they do not stop contacting me. I have explained to them that I am a college student and cannot afford to donate and they were disrespectful and rude to me. I blocked their original number and now they have repeatedly continued to call me from DIFFERENT numbers, and I keep continuing to block those numbers. I don't know what to do anymore to get them to leave me alone. I wish I could give these people negative stars.
