      I keep getting harassed via phone call MULTIPLE times a week! Ive even gone through their menu to remove my phone and they still call me! WHEN I'M AT WORK! Im an esthetician and they called me mid facial, interrupted my guest because of me using Bluetooth for our spa and WILL NOT stop!! Stop harassing me for money I will not donate to police!! ACAB!

      I was contacted by phone. Very aggressive and at the end of the "will you donate" the caller said "and don't hang up". Wow, my antennas went up right then. They had the stupidity to ask for my credit card number. Really?? The invoice they sent, as I wanted them to show their face, was not an address but a PO box number in Michigan. It did not match any addresses on their web site. I have never been addressed in the manner over the phone by any legitimate charity. I have never felt like I was being strong armed by someone. Thank you BBB for your followup of this scam. BTW, one star is too much.

      They are sending me an invoice because supposedly my husband made a pledge of $25 last month. The problem is that my husband has been dead for six years. Either one of their telemarketers is reporting non-existent pledges to increase their compensation or they are trying to manipulate seniors with claims of pledges made. Either way, they'll get no money from me.

      They have called a great many times. I keep telling them not to call me anymore, they say sorry and then they keep calling. A one star rating is too high for this organization.

      SCAM! NPTA has nothing to do with supporting the Police. Do your research, this took me several years of donating to learn. Take the time to look this company up.

      10 years ago someone got on this company's calling list, I got this number assigned to me 9 years ago. They've been calling me ever since even though I tell them to remove my number.

      This union uses fraudulent tactics to try and get money. I have repeatedly told them to stop calling, yet they persist. This isn't a 'cause' organization. It is money grubbing self interest.

      I have received several calls over that past year from various numbers claiming to represent this organization. The last number called from nine eight zero - two nine four- three two zero six. My number has been on the Do Not Call registry through the Federal Trade Commission. I recommend everyone register their phones here and file a report each time you get a scam call from anyone. Attempt to gather as much information about the person calling. Then report them to https://www.*************/. Stay safe and be vigilant.

      I got the call from this organization, and as I fully support the local law enforcement agencies in my area, I decided to agree to send a small donation. Not being willing to give them my credit card info, the caller agreed to send me an envelope, but still put me on the line with someone else that pushed hard for me to give them my number. I almost hung up there. But now ever since then I have been getting calls daily from organizations similar to this. So they apparently not only got my donation, but also made money selling my information to other lists. NEVER again will I donate to this organization. I will keep my money for the local law enforcement offices and their fund raisers.
