844-380-six three seven two I just called them right now. And ask them because I never give my credit card information over the phone, ask them why they got an F rating on the Better Business Bureau. She said you don’t have to give them a call or give any money then. And I said you know it’s illegal right? And they hung up on me. It’s a major scam

Numerous calls from random numbers attempting to get my credit card number for a donation. I refused to give out my credit card number. They offered to send me an invoice. Upon further investigation I noticed they have an address located in ******** Florida and want me to send payment to *********. Also learned that they are connected to a PAC. Hard pass.

First of all, check your facts before calling the kettle black. This "group" that solicits money is part of IUPA/AFL-CIO and would have nothing to do with Trump. Lol In 2017, investigative reports shows about a mere .004 does go to helping with law enforcement scholarships. The rest of the 16 million went to employees salaries/telemarketers, administrative costs, and "other" fundraisers. Sam C. (IUPA President with 27 years of service with them) was paid a whopping $199,773 in 2019. Got my 4th call today and I asked them to stop calling. I also made a call to my local police dept. The Officer clearly stated the NPTA has nothing to do with supporting the Police and that the Police would never "solicit" money from the general public. They show up on my phone as "SUSPECTED SPAM". If you want to support your local Police Department you can call them directly. Be safe and God bless!

Per Christine M review “BEWARE!!! I received a call from them and initially sounded like a very good cause so asked them to send me something in the mail - I NEVER give a card over the phone, I research before giving any money. The caller kept trying to get me to pay over phone but finally agreed to mail me info. Received a couple follow-up calls asking me to give them the money I "promised". It's the same feeling when being pushed by a salesperson on commission. Simply Googling this charity produced plenty of negative feedback to warn consumers away from them. Do Not give them any money!!!! Instead find the legit charities for the same cause - and try to find and give to local charities first!!” This is spot on. Thankfully we waited To donate because we were waiting for pay day. Received a call tonight from a women and after saying we would call back and pay tomorrow she basically screaming at us and demanding a credit or debit card that minute. We immediately were red flagged by that. It’s very similar to the scammers who used to call and say you were going to jail unless you paid a non existent debt or fine. Bullying tactics for what I assume is commissioned callers. Seems super legit but as soon as we googled and researched it became obvious this is a total scam ripoff. So embarrassed that I almost let this one get me. P**sed they even got my address out of me to mail me the form. BEWARE THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!

I received a call before 9 am today, 10/17/2022, from "National Police and Troopers 929/294/2325, soliciting donations. I told the gentleman, "No, I will NOT make a donation and that what you are doing is unlawful and illegal." Without reply, he abruptly terminated the call. I saved the contact information and called them back from another line. I was politely rebuffed. (Interestingly, had I changed my mind and decided, Yes, I do want to make a donation, I would not have been able to do so.) I next searched on-line for info as to how to make a complaint, or simply alert authorities. Sad to say, none of the websites were appropriate for making a pro-active complaint. Hence the FBI site for internet scams, and the FTC site, are inapplicable. They only entertain complaints from victims, i.e., those who have actually been scammed, hence, my presence here. I was delighted to be honored with a call from these smooth-talking, rather professional SCAMSTERS. I only regret my role, apparently, is limited to deflecting their overtures and sharing my experience with you, the reader, on this review site.

I received the same phone call from "National ************************************************* Association. I told the man I would donate, but only if he sent me an envelope. He then transferred me to the person who would processing the information. The woman comes on the phone and is insisting that I use a credit or debit card. I told her no and that I agreed to donate but only if they sent me an envelope I would send a check. I wrote the check and before mailing I decided to call the number they called from and I got a voice message. It did not sound like a business so I hung up and decided to look them up. I am greatful that I fould these reviews. I am going to tear up my check. I don't mind supporting ligitimate charities, but not scammers.

All of these reviews are exactly my same experience. I finally reported a call to the *** site. https://*****************/report.html Recommend you all do the same. Maybe if we report enough times with enough of their phone numbers, someone can track them down and stop the ******* madness.
