I bought a new mattress on 7/4/2022 they told me that they would pick up old mattress on delivery I also received an e-mail stating they would pick up old mattress. The e-mail states "The delivery Dispose of old furniture - The delivery teams are not permitted to move or dispose of existing furniture (With the exception of mattress removal that is available with a new mattress delivery).They said there was stains on the old mattress and that was the reason for not taking. For that reason I told them to take back the new mattress, they said it had been delivered and they would not take it back,Rooms To Go

As a good will gesture, the drivers can remove an old mattress to the curb. However, if the mattress has stains or is unsanitary, the drivers are not obligated to remove it.

Rooms to go needs to stop telling people that they will pick up old mattress if they purchase a new one. Clerk when ask if they would pick up old mattress told us, "absolutely no problem. Also stated in writing the same thing. Since our mattress was not stained I feel cheated. My son has bad arthritis and struggled to get the mattress to the road. Someone picked it up before garbage, so you see it was not a horrible stained mattress. All I can say, after this Rooms To Go lost a customer. This is bad policy.Review fromIssia S

Worse experience of my life! I spent almost 4k with them cash! And my entire delivery was wrong. Not only was the order wrong but the guys who delivered the set left without setting up my set & my bookshelf was left on the porch. No sympathy from the reps & no accommodationsRooms To Go

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any misunderstanding or inconvenience they may have experienced.
As our office is concerned by the allegations expressed, we will be reviewing further with the corresponding departments and delivery company's management team to investigate and address as deemed necessary.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed the account in its entirety. Our records reflect that full delivery service was paid for at the point of sale. We regret the drivers did not complete the setup of the sectional. However, if what was delivered was not correct, may be why the set up was not completed. Nonetheless, the store verified the initial order was placed with the configuration the customer wanted. Because it was not correct for their needs, the order has been rewritten. Delivery is scheduled for 8.06.22.
As far as the bookcase unit, this piece is listed as partial customer assembly. This information is listed on the placard next to the item as well as listed on our website as such. In view of this, the customer would be responsible for the setup of that unit.

Store number 2382. I made a furniture purchase on 07/04/2022. The salesman I worked with, Johann ******* put in my order. He told me the price and asked me to sign. I was emailed the receipt, which did not have my entire order. I called them back and tried to get my order corrected and they asked for more money. After stating that the price was not what was discussed, I asked for a refund. Judy, manager at store 2382, said that they do not allow refunds.
Seems like a scam to me. They agree to a price, submit a partial order, when the customer asks for the order to be corrected they ask for more money. How are they still in business?Rooms To Go

Dear BBB,
We would like to express our apologies, for any misunderstanding our customer may have had regarding their purchase.
Our records reflect they received the furniture they paid and signed for at the point of sale as shown on their purchase invoice. We do not show they purchased the optional trundle. Please note that product and pricing information is listed on placards next to each grouping at our showroom locations for our customer's convenience. Because the trundle was not paid for at the point of sale, it was not written on the order nor delivered.
We have been made aware the regionals office reached out to the customer to discuss options for the issues presented. A message was left on 7.13.22; however, we do not show the customer has called back as of yet. Trundles were tagged with sale by coupon at time of purchase. The regionals office is willing to honor the sale price for a limited extension.
However, if the customer has paperwork showing the trundle was included in their purchase for the price already paid at the point of sale, our office will gladly review it.

Just a warning to everyone purchasing a Nectar mattress from Rooms to Go, they will not honor the "365-night trial". You have to purchase the mattress directly from Nectar even though Rooms to Go nor Nectar tell you this on their websites.Rooms To Go

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience or misunderstanding they may have had regarding their purchase.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects. The manufacturer offers a longer limited warranty we will honor as long as it is valid. Our company does not offer a "trial comfort" period nor do we advertise as such. Any special promotions/offers being offered directly from the vendor is solely through that company.
We have reviewed the account fully. Records show the customer wanted to pursue the Nectar's trial period and return the bedding. This was denied. However, the customer was offered to reselect the bedding in the home to a different mattress equal in value as a gesture of good will.

I think you should state that you do not honor the "Nectar trial period" on your website so it is clear to those who purchase this product.
I agree you did give me the option to return it but I would have to rent a truck to bring it to a store and pay for shipping for the new one which I am not willing to do due to all the extra costs involved. Here is exactly what Rooms to Go sent me.
I am not out to get anyone or get anything out of this. I just want others to be aware that you do not honor Nectar's trial period and you do not state that prior to purchase which I think is deceiving. please just update your website.

What this means is, we are offering you the option to return your current mattress and pick out new mattress replace it with. If your new selection is greater in monetary value than that of your original purchase price, it will be your responsibility to pay the difference. You will also be responsible to pay a new delivery fee and any extended warranty charges if you choose to purchase this at the time of your new purchase.
To redeem this offer, DO NOT discard your current furniture as it is required to be returned to Rooms To Go. Simply visit the showroom in which your merchandise was initially purchased and provide them with your original purchase information. Our sales team will find the replacement authorization and work with you on your new selection. Once your new purchase is completed, our sales team will also schedule a date to return your current merchandise, and at the same time, deliver your new items.

1 starI bought a living room set in 2019 that I loved, and the recliner for the last 2 1/2 months has been broken. Gaurdian sent a tech out to fix it and it worked 2 days and broke. It took them a month to send a tech out the 1st claim and over a month the 2 & 3rd claim ..and still not fixed. A part was ordered and I was told it could be another month before they are able to get out to fix it. I DO NOT WANT THIS CHAIR ANYMORE!!! I have gone to Rooms to Go in Wilmington, NC 2 times along with talking on the phone to Dustin a manager and told him the situtation and that I feel the chair should be replaced. I need a knee replacement and have had to prop my leg up on a kitchen chair for 2 1/2 months now, and my Dr said when I get my knee replaceed I will probably be sleeping in the recliner for a month or so ..that has been broken ..and I don't feel like its a dependable chair now ..I WANT A REPLACEMENT!!! I have been given the run around from the store Rooms To Go in Wilmington NC and from Gaurdian the warrenty company and am tired of dealing with them both. I know they are trying to push it to where my warrenty ends and they are free from doing anything. I no longer want this chair and feel that Rooms To Go should replace it with 3 claims in a month. I am not asking for a complete living room set ..just another recliner!! VERY DISSATISFIED WITH ROOMS TO GO AND WILL NOT SHOP THERE ANYMORE!!!Review fromTerrence S

Poor customer service and out of the seven pieces of furniture that I bought and had delivered three were damaged upon receiving them. Two had to.be replaced and a coffee table was not only damaged but had to go thru poor customer care only to have it replaced and that was damaged as well. Now have to to wait up to 21 days for refund, please read this before buying from them.Rooms To Go

With respect to their situation, our records reflect replacements for the sofa and divider were completed for the customer. Regrettably, the cocktail table replacement was unable to be completed to satisfaction. A cancelation was processed for that piece as requested. All refunds take up to 21 business days to process. We show a refund check was cut and mailed on 7.18.22 to the address listed which is well within the timeframe advised.

1 starPurchased on March 29, 2022 a Cindy ******** Loveseat and another brand recliner. Recliner replaced due to padding issue under leather on footrest. Original tech only took pictures and replacement refused until I sent pictures showing issue.
Loveseat, to date I have been sent three loveseats each having an issue. Last one received 7/6/2022 with back cushion issues. This time they shipped two new back cushions which were received 7/8/2022. Each cushion is six inches too narrow leaving a large gap. Unacceptable again. I have now referred this to the credit card company for assistance. They refuse refunds.
